It felt really crappy doing it, and I completely understand Liara's hurt, but I also think despite this one outburst, Liara handled the breakup very well. Way better than anyone else, and Liara and my Shepard still maintained a very close relationship going forward. I almost rekindled things in ME3, but then I ran into Jack again at Grissom and remembered why I liked her.
This kinda feels more real, 2 years of nothing but still have feelings. Shepard hooks up with another as a rebound and liars hasn’t dealt with you coming back. So when they fight, it feels real.
To be fair he/she asked Liara to come with them. Even offered to help them with their issues and she kind of blew them off so she can't be mad if they moved on.
Also Liara while Shepard is dead: simping over Jim Raynor. I find it interesting, that Tali didn't mock Liara's VA other role, Dr. Ariel from "StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty". Something like: - Oh no, I need help! We have big roaches!

Eh, with the right color pallette and default Broshep's jawline, it can look fairly decent. Nowhere near as good as most other helmets though. Better than the Capacitor helmet at least
I think it's one of the best helmets when it comes to stats. Also the one in the video looks worse because of the weird color pallete and Shepard's weird face/jawline

I've played this game so many times, but yesterday I finished the legendary edition of me2. My shep was renegade and I didn't romance anyone in me1. I couldn't hit the paragon quick times because I'm renegade until the day I die! It really seemed like T'soni was in love with Shepard though. Like, without me doing any flirting or anything. She's the only one Shepard hugs with no previous romance involved. She's so clearly who the game wants you with.
Its pretty unanimously agreed that Liara is the "canonical" romance of the series. She's the only character you can romance or re-affirm romance with (thanks to Shadow Broker) in all three games, and she's also the only one you don't really need to go that far out of your way to pursue. ME1 romances are practically handed to you on a silver platter, and all the other romance candidates are either middling or can outright die (ME2 suicide mission, in ME3 Miranda and Tali can die in their missions, Kaiden/Ashley can die from the Citadel attack, etc), but Liara is 100% guaranteed to survive and be present for all three games. The only other characters that come close to her are Garrus and Tali, which can be recruited and hint towards having "liked" you in ME1, but unlike Liara, who is mandatory and will always be added to your crew, you can actually just COMPLETELY miss and never recruit Garrus or Tali in ME1. They aren't required to beat the game. Tali especially, considering you need to complete an entire Citadel sidequest AND pick the right dialogue options to recruit her. Obviously no Mass Effect fan would forget to do this, but a casual first-time player absolutely could. (James also can't die but he's only in one game.)
@@OGXenos Tali is mandatory in Mass Effect 1. Wrex and Garrus are not. You recruit Tali in the main quest (not sidequest) when getting evidence against Saren and if you try to not recruit her, Anderson and Udina force you.

I had to try so fucking hard to stay loyal to Ash in ME2 on my first playthrough. My second MShep went straight for Tali the second I could start romancing her in ME2.
It's not like there are options to wipe multiple races out of existence..but surely betraying someone who is in the first 10th of her life and will forget about you when you die really is horribly evil.
If i play and romance Liara i never betray her. But it's hard to me not to romance her. So mostly my choice, best girl. I never betray Legion too. Genocidal quarians can go
I’ve done 3-4 play throughs of ME2 and don’t recognize any of this dialogue because I stayed loyal to that sweet blue booty throughout. I never even flirted with other characters.

The funny thing is Miranda's uniform isn't intentionally sexual, really, shes just one of the few women filled out in the mass effect universe. Now Samara's outfit on the other hand...One wonders which Asari designed that.

Other than Tali and Garrus Liara is the only character that doesn't automatically think Shepard sold out to Cerberus. Well she doesn't because the reason Cerberus got his/her body is because Liara wouldn't let Shepard go. Yes she denied going with you on the Normandy when you ask after finding her on Illium. But she does admit she regrets that decision during the computer beacon scene in ME3. She even admits that makes her a bad friend. That would explain why you have to say it 2 times even 3 times if you count the Citadel DLC that you want to be with her. I really hope that with the remaster they will expand the scene were she shares her memories with Shepard. They could of had a flash back scene or something to make that scene mean a little more than a friendly gesture. Also isn't Liara's default outfit for both LOTSB and ME3 isn't that kind of like a jumpsuit?
When you first meet up with her again in ME2, she’s so enveloped in her vendetta with the Shadow Broker she asks you to help her by hacking some terminals; she just blows you off after helping her.
The crazy thing about it is that Liara is just as integral to Shepards resurrection than Miranda. She goes through hell to make sure the collectors dont obtain his remains and that Cerberus does instead. You have to read the comic for all that though.
Funny thing is you can actually bang Jack even when you're romancing any side character. It happened to me when Miranda was my main romance after Liara in 1.

yeah the game tries to nudge you into getting with liara for some reason.
Because liara is intelligent, focused, capable, and even when she's the shadow broker she's still got a good heart about things.

no, betray Tali is the most evil.
It's not like there are options to wipe multiple races out of existence..but surely betraying someone who is in the first 10th of her life and will forget about you when you die really is horribly evil.

Most evil choice is choosing to save the geth at the cost of losing the quarians (and by extension betraying Tali).
If i play and romance Liara i never betray her. But it's hard to me not to romance her. So mostly my choice, best girl.

I stayed faithful to Liara in the entire ME series. I just couldn't cheat on her.
In the first game, i only settled for her because i couldn’t have Tali
I’ve done 3-4 play throughs of ME2 and don’t recognize any of this dialogue because I stayed loyal to that sweet blue booty throughout. I never even flirted with other characters.
keep in mind that when they first kiss at the reunion, she could see into his mind, on my playthrough she saw me banging jack and tali while also flirting with every other female on board

Other than Tali and Garrus Liara is the only character that doesn't automatically think Shepard sold out to Cerberus. Well she doesn't because the reason Cerberus got his/her body is because Liara wouldn't let Shepard go. Yes she denied going with you on the Normandy when you ask after finding her on Illium. But she does admit she regrets that decision during the computer beacon scene in ME3. She even admits that makes her a bad friend. That would explain why you have to say it 2 times even 3 times if you count the Citadel DLC that you want to be with her. I really hope that with the remaster they will expand the scene were she shares her memories with Shepard. They could of had a flash back scene or something to make that scene mean a little more than a friendly gesture. Also isn't Liara's default outfit for both LOTSB and ME3 isn't that kind of like a jumpsuit?

When you first meet her in ME2, she asks you to hack a few terminals so she can try to find the Shadow Broker.
When you first meet up with her again in ME2, she’s so enveloped in her vendetta with the Shadow Broker she asks you to help her by hacking some terminals; she just blows you off after helping her.

The crazy thing about it is that Liara is just as integral to Shepards resurrection than Miranda. She goes through hell to make sure the collectors dont obtain his remains and that Cerberus does instead. You have to read the comic for all that though.
