I just loved this video. Perhaps it's the shores of Lake Ontario and a cool breeze, watching you dance in the rain, your yummie burgers, or the look of utter contentment on Sadies beautiful face, but this may become one of my favorite videos that you have ever created.
    Love and blessings.

We went right through that area in late May and it was pretty warm and humid then. But we did a few nites in a couple of State Parks as I figured boondocking would be impossible with a travel trailer. However we used Harvest Hosts for the first time this year going east (from Colorado) and it worked out great. Only problem of course is that it’s one night only. But it worked well to get us mileage along our route. Paid for itself in the first or second nights. Interesting places too.

BEEN BINGE WATCHING ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS FOR WEEKS NOW. Tears were flowing on the episode in which you spoke of the scam on your mom and grandma. Loved the Mexico dentist episode. The one where you changed the tire, almost. And the excitement exclaimed when you were in Mexico and the RV finally got pulled out of the sand. Love ya Carolyn. And the positivity. Helping me stay positive this Channel. R.I.P Capone as well! Love every upload you provide. And a great cook you are as well. The baked chz breakfast burrito looked incredible.

We do have a dump station nearby (about 15 minutes) at a RV park, but I don’t know how much it is. Our little town is pretty cool and near a couple gorgeous lakes. It’s just me, my daughter, her fiancé and three dogs in a fenced yard on over 10 acres.

Well, on the Ontario Lake Canadian side, FYI they were deluged with rain so they had flooding in Toronto cars got stuck, the Union station was flooded, CBC went on and covered for a full afternoon. They need to install rest areas with bathrooms for truckers and RV's so they have somewhere to go during a flooding, and allow grassy areas during the corridor of major highways so water has somewhere to go. I had watched a storm chaser who was stuck on the highways near Wisconsin due to flooding on highways, and traffic was stopped for four hours due to flooding, so they need to allow water to run off somewhere in the US and in Canada.

We loved our trip to NY in 2022. We did not see this State Park however stayed up at a state park on the St Lawrence River that was gorgeous. We also found a cool little park in Lowville, NY, that was really nice as well. It was no hook ups but there was hardly anyone there (except for Dan.....he was a character). So if you make it over to Lowville look it up. Little community campground maybe ??? cannot remember. Very reasonable. Weather was nice. Just in the edge of the Adirondacks.

FWIW: we traveled east and north as far as Quebec City this year. While it was fun and interesting, we are probably going to go west from now on (from Colorado). Camping, especially boondocking is SO MUCH EASIER in the west. Plus the wide open spaces of the west are just more to our liking.

Carolyn, I have watched your videos since you first started your RV Life back years ago with Capone at your side. You have been such an inspiration to me and given me hope to be able to live kinda like you. I plan to move away from hellacious Texas and do some traveling to find a good state where I can buy some off-grid property and live out my life as far away from Corporate America as I possibly can. Thank you for making me believe I can do it at the age of 63. Watching you through the years and seeing the amazing changes in you as the stress and pain in your life seems to have lessened has been wonderful to witness! F*ck all the naysayers and negative Nancy's and their mean comments. You are an amazing woman! When I find my piece of paradise, I will gladly give you my address and put out the Welcome mat if you're ever in my area and want a safe place to park for a while.

I've been in Oregon since May 10th and this is the 5th heatwave and the second worst. Last week was the 4th heat wave and the number one worst. 104° where I was next to the Willamette River. I am stupified by this because I lived in Oregon and couldn't stand the weather so I moved to Arizona. Now I'm back here visiting and having to beg people to stay inside with them during the day because it is so awful that my dog and I really suffered, esp. last week. Fortunately I do have relatives here and I can hang out with various ones so I'm not a burden. Makes it difficult though because they are in assisted living and there's a strict policy about guests. Good luck everybody with the heat there seems to be no coolness everywhere unless you go way way up high!

We didn’t have air conditioning as a kid. I used to go out in the yard with the mosquitoes to sleep. What’s worse? Getting punctured or cooked?

It's hard to find boondocking out east - much harder than out west! Love the great lakes! Thanks for including the sound of the waves. Where did you get those window socks. I have tried three times on Amazon and they are never big enough for my hightop Promaster

I'm not even close to ur caliber in finding place to stay nor boondocking after being on the road for two yrs now.
We where in Utah last week & it was a 114 & even at night with very little hot breeze @ 100. I got so disconnected I drove most of the night to get to CA to a beach area that was 70s to 80s. My little guy was suffering too.
I know what u mean by chasing the weather. Eighter its hot or the cold, that keeps us moving.
Thx u for sharing ur video. I always enjoy watching ur journey. Love that sweet Sadie. 🤗

I really enjoyed this video as I live in the area you visited. I currently live in Macedon, NY which is just down the road from Palmyra. I also know of the places you stayed overnight. It was just cool to see an RVer filming in this area. 😊❤ I would love to do what you are doing. Be safe, happy travels. PS Love your doggie. 🐾❤️

Maybe you explained this in another video but why don't you visit your mom in the autumn. And if the reason you are in New York is to see your mom why are you driving all over trying to boondock? Is it just to make videos? Maybe do some work on your rig and make videos about that so you can spend time with her? ,

I don't know how you are surviving this heat/humidity. We are heading up to the Lake Placid area to camp to get away from the near 100 degree heat here by the Jersey Shore. Sadly, this is becoming the new normal. Forecasted to be in the upper 70's where we are going and I can't remember what that feels like.

There is a lot of camping places along the Erie canal. I don't know if you can find one your camper could fit in or not. Guess I spoke to soon. I guess you already know that now.

I liked how you add info about the places you visit, I enjoyed the music going on the road. I dont know if you could add the songs title and the performer of the song. I would suggest having black out drapes to protect your privacy, I found them a bit too translucent. To keep the heat out, you could even use reflectics. Of course you might have though about those things already. But as a woman, I would even cut out a little window/door in the reflectics to check out the surroundings.
