There are a lot of us out here. Prayer and trust in God is everything and let Him lead the way because He is always with you even if you don’t feel it. Make Him your best friend.
Yes, why not you?. You are as smart as the next person. Instead of crying about fear of the future, feel the excitement of planning your escape! You can do it❤❤
I’m about to be homeless and I need some help with getting a van so I can live like this please help me!

This woman has more courage than many younger people. 😉👍
A wonderful and young-at-heart woman. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
So someone younger who has a house and works to buy it has less courage than someone living in a van? So unless someone goes and lives in a van they have no "courage"? What about people who think the idea of living in a van is horrible? They don't have courage?
@@drn13355 What I has wrote, was not a comparing between vanlive or living in a house. It was a comparing between people who have the dream, to live in a van! So many younger people want to do this, but they have often less courage than the wonderful lady in this video.
On the other hand, many people live in a house out of a sense of habit and security. The insecure feeling of living in a van, or having so little space, or traveling alone and going without a lot of material things would scare them.
To live in a house or a van, can be courage or fear and escape. Both is possible.
This is a question of consciousness.
@@drn13355 your accusative bunch of questions seem like an attack on the poor poster. Try to be kind with your defensive feelings 💜
She's not 78 years old she's 78 years young. She beats me at 65. What an inspiration ❤
I totally agree. 😊👍
She beats me at 52! She’s so inspiring.
@@b.l.wilson9724 ❤️
She beats a lot of the 40 years old I know
It's nothing wrong with saying 78 years old. She would not be upset. Using " young " instead of "old" says that there's something wrong with being old. I'm 67 years old. But I was once 20 years old, not 20 years young!!
Being old is synonymous with being very lucky to be still alive!
Many young people don't reach adulthood, many babies don't get to even walk. 😢
I'm so impressed with all the amazing senior women flying solo and enjoying their lives🦋
Yes. Our grandmothers didn't have this choice. 😊
I'm 60 and disabled, this is perfect for me.
It's sad that this is what their lives have come down to. Living in a van? No one 78 years old and sane wants to live this way.
What’s worse is these old guys who get their gold watch from the railway and sit on the couch getting fat watching tv. Usually dead in a year with a stroke. Too many flat thinkers out there.
I hope to do that too someday.
Living on the road sure beats dying slow in some old folks home.
Good for that young lady!
I agree! 😊👍
Beats laying on your couch til you die

Hi, Evelyn, from another Evelyn! I'm 76, have been a wanderlust all my life, lived full-time in a 17-foot travel trailer for 7 years, a 5th-wheel for another 2 years, and now that I'm stationary, I still camp in a tent, my preferred accommodation. You remind me of me for more than the shared name. We are exactly the kind of "senior citizen" that breaks the "senior citizen in a rocking chair" mold. We're out there, us older women, living life under OUR terms, strong and independent and purposeful. You go, girl! (I hope you made it out west; I live in Oregon 😁)
🤗 Good for you! 💙🦋💙
💙💙💙💙💜💜💜💚💚💚💚
Hey two Evelyn's....I'm here in NW MT and hope you make it out here near Libby MT. If so I'd try to come up with a creative means to make contact .Like a note at our chamber of commerce welcome station on how to contact if you are coming through. It helps I know one of the ladies who works there too...by the way she's an independent lady who owns a small van camper too and actually rides a Harley. Oh my gal friends are wild and woolly sweeties at a variety of ages. Facebook via PM or personal messaging is another method to connect to avoid leaving personal info on social media where anyone could happen by. I know a lot of folks do it but I'm a little wiser these days. I've been tent camping for over 55 years and turns out my funny hubby of 52 years is not a camper. Now really how could that happen I mean I was putting up a tent all summer long when we met in college and we met through caving and only after we were married did I discover his actual dislike for camping for camping. I've never lost the love. I even set up two XL outdoor day beds with real bed mattresses I covered years ago with water proofing pack cloth to protect from all elements and one year I slept out every night through the end of Oct. Most years we get a rain spell in Sept but one year it was an early extended Indian Summer. Ahhh love outdoors. Had a friend at 78 visit in 2014 who arrived by train and we slept out on the patio beds and camped two solid weeks up the river and a night over at Flathead lake because she wanted to do that. And she'd never seen Glacier Park so we spent a trip over there too. She was here 18 days. She passed away 3 years later and her son asked me for all the photos I might have of her two visits over the years. She also rented most Octobers a forest service cabin or look out on her birthday to enjoy with or without another gal friend so she really enjoyed the outdoors. I'm a huge supporter of those who do. So here's too all the brave Evelyn's and gals who are not afraid or if they are still put their foot forward and go out the door and into adventure land. May your path always be a safe one.
She is my hero. THIS is what you call aging gracefully, FOR REAL...not who has the least wrinkles. I watched in awe while she matter-of-factly talked about her solo traveling at 78. She makes nearly 80 look great!
That's so nice if you. 💙🦋💙

I am 75 an RV in Solo 😮20 year marriage didn't suit me working full-time cooking meals and watching reruns on TV not for me I plan to continue
Everyday is an adventure
I'm also a solo senior (74). Life was passing by too quickly! So I drove my campervan from Southern England, to Outer Hebrides islands. 100 miles off the west coast of Scotland. The journey was for 3 months, visiting Isle of Skye, Mull, Iona, Staffa, Uists, Barra, Eriskay. Isles of Harris and Lewis. It was an adventure of a lifetime, meeting so many senior solo ladies, many from Europe, also in their 70's. Your never too old to get out into the big wide world and fulfil your dreams!
Hi, Sally. 👋 I've met so many solo senior women enjoying their lives like we are. I'm 73 and I've been fulltime for almost 2 years. Enjoy you adventures! 💙🦋💙
😊you go girl
You are living my dream
That's been my experience over the past 50 plus years of solo tent camping most of the time. My hubby of 52 years not into camping and that's often the case with all ages of women I enjoy meeting on the road. Many have partners fellas or gals and they are not into it but trust and support them to go on out there. Now that's love. and respect. What I love is nature and sounds like you too. Amazing. I just bought my very first RV of any kind a year ago. A 22 year old Class B+ that turned out to be in dire need of help. Not realized how bad until I drove her home 550 miles in the dead of winter. But she's going to be wonderful. My intent is to shape her to my personality but also keep all I do in the original or easily returned to original lay out. I plan to utilize the sofa as my bed as I redesigned the jack knife sofa but it still works just as before only with fresh new upholstery. I have the three top back cushions to complete tomorrow. Otherwise I finished the seat sofa cushions yesterday and the dinette and arm rests last week. I did all the trim the end of last summer after tearing out walls to repair water damaged walls and floors. I learned what wood hardener and fillers are and no doubt used some new products totally out of the box ways no one intended them to be used. It now looks lovely and clean and I will one last time attempt to clean the fabric ceiling because my first two attempts left it more stain looking than it was before I started? I understand that the foam backing and glue that held it to the fabric has broken down over the years and now making it dingy. I have at last resort an actual paint for fabric to use but I played with a piece from inside cabinets as a sample strip I can practice and do fabric checks with products before attempting full ceiling treatments. And the paint turned a bit on the yellow side. Contacted the maker and they did think it might though on leather it stays true white? But I want to try Shout the laundry cleaner too as it's done amazing things for carpet stains now and again. I plan to travel to Alaska and ferry her back down the coast, Take ferry over to the San Juan Islands which is about as close to similar adventure as you took. Nothing quite as amazing but for her maiden adventures I can't wait to get her road ready. She's missing a spare tire that I need to track down and but think her engine is in good condition and she had only 42K miles on her. She's not far from ready. Friends who've owned RV's for years will visit next week and they plan to show me in's and outs with plumbing, cleaning water heaters and rods, and LP and electrical info that the so called manual neglects to inform or tell you. So kinda want to get her as cleaned up and ready for her inspection when they arrive. Friends from the 70's in college and caving era. We lost track of each other for 30 years then we found one another after retirement and been enjoying camping trips to ride our bikes...peddle power not electric or gas. Though won't rule that out. Hubby is 86 and we can't figure out how he got that old. Really just like that & really life's too short to pay any attention to age. Until suddenly oops it's here and we are what no way..I too turned 74 too this past Feb. There is no reason why one should not enjoy life and stay active. I think we all hate formal exercise but we all appreciate it's benefits and what's great is staying physical in life so one doesn't realize they are exercising at all just having fun. May your life be full of even more amazing adventures. You go girl!!!!
You have lived my bucket list! Good for you!!!
Thank you for posting. I am 61 and on the way home from work today I was in near tears thinking I would never camp again or even be able to use the RV. Hi @bonnie - "Hang in there and don't give up". There are "MANY" of us solo single ladies out here living alone. It does seem like in America we are struggling at our middle age & Seniors age. Mostly is financially. For some of us is unexpected situations that placed us here. Medically, or losing a spouse, and/or insufficient retirement. But there is just "not enough decent housing" for middle age & Seniors in America. Builders, corporate America, Realtors have ALWAYS BEEN BUILDING HOUSES FOR YOUNG FAMILIES. That is why now I'm thinking of investing in a Tiny Home. I don't want a huge house, with a huge yard to keep up. Downsizing is my way of thinking now. LOL! Just another stage in my life, and "I do WELCOME something different". Ladies, "NEVER GIVE UP", for you are worthy. Good luck & God be with you. 😇🤗💥👍🫶

I would just like to say how I respect this lady who is as old as my own mother. I sure hope it was your decision to eventually have to live like this. There's nothing wrong with doing this if it's your decision. Even if it's not. You are a true survivor to do what you need to. Inorder make life work. worked law enforcement for 31 years in the south and have seen so many people including parents and children doing this because of the cost of living. People bury the heads in the sand and act as though it's not happening. Even my own daughter, son -in-law were about homeless because of the poor pay of the Military. I would have done anything to keep them of the streets. It only because of the war with Iraq that he was able to get 99 % disability and his retirement. That allowed them to buy a small home and do much better. What we tend to forget is where they were 8 years and now they act as though they have all the money in the world. My daughter has never held a job and was not raised in that manner. I got a little of track but it shows how we forget. In my case. All the calls I would get that people would complain about things like this nice lady I never ran anyone off despite my orders. Now it's my turn to have to do this because I was hurt in the line of duty and had half my skull crushed. While the tests were coming back they also found that I had had Multiplesclerosis and said I'd be in a wheelchair within 5 years. Because of my belief and determination I have been beating that for 15 years now. On SSDI and rent going from $725.00 overnight to $1100.00 I've had to figure a way to survive as well. I was going to do as this nice lady. She really doesn't tell you she can't stay a campsites and says she likes to stay at the Cracker Barrel. I'm going to tell you the truth. So you can know. The camp sites that were never ever full except on holidays and always were asking for donations. Well now they are full of people like her but they are leaving there now because of the greed of money. They figured this was the time to raise there rates and get there piece of the pie. Call and do the math and it will equal to my rent going up. People, all I'm saying is if you stick your head in the sand eventually you will be here to. 9 years ago I had a 5000 Sq foot home on the lake and was making $160,000.00 and it went away in the blink of an eye. Peace...😮

I am 71 and just about to do the same too.
I am not gonna "wait to die", I need more adventures.👌
Good for you! 😊
What a sweet lady! I can think of several words to describe her - enthusiastic, passionate, strong, organized (my downfall), prepared (was she a girl scout way back when), adventurous, kind, etc! Such a nice person! Thank you for the introduction. I'm so glad to have met Evelyn.
You are so welcome! 💙🦋💙

She is Forever young❤God Bless and keep her always🎉🎉🎉

❤ I can’t believe she is 78. Bless her and what an inspiration like all of you traveling gals❤
She exhudes peace and confidence. I bet she ain't got any (if any) health issue. A simple build that demonstrates you don't need the fancy vans with all the latest gadgets and glitter to make it on the road and be fully happy with your choices of living a lifestyle so many look at in horror. Bravo and thank you for being such an inspiration !!

@@ButterflyTracks thank you for this, it inspired me to get a Dodge caravan, had been looking at Toyota Siennas and after watching your video and then doing a search I’m sold on the Caravan. I joined Midwest women camper group on FB, I’ll be looking into Butterfly tribe. Thank you.
78 years young!!! what a wonderful lady. So much energy, looks great and empowered!! bless her soul!

She is so adorable & very inspiring.

How beautiful is this person. I'm in my sixties. She's my role model!
I agree. 💙🦋💙
My heart and prayers go out to you and your mini-Van. I bought a 22 year old Class B+RV last year & turned out to need a heck of a lot of work that didn't show up until after I drove her 550 miles home in the dead of winter. OF COURSE. However she's going to be a great companion for me once I get her self esteem restored with restoration projects. I just finished 9 of the 12 upholstering of new cushions. Have the three back of the jack knife sofa to go. I was planning to finish today but due to heavy rain did not want to get foam and fabrics wet going out to the RV for fittings. I redesigned the sofa and have put velcro on the wraps around the springs and supports & so need to mate the cushions with the velcro to make sure they stay secure once set up. Meantime that added an extra 5 inches in width to the single twin when not made into a wider double or a small King bed if put up to the dinette. I am wishing now I had gone with a B Van but had looked for 2 years and just decided this would be fine. I worried about the wind in one I almost bought earlier. Living in NW MT will we have winding roads and WIND too. I've been tent camping as a solo female more than 50 years. My husband of 52 years despite meeting him through caving turns out not to like to camp. I've been lucky and he's fine with my traveling on my own. But the cute thing is with the RV he's now showing interest. Will the spoiled fella? He's 86 so I'm just teasing. But he loves to take the train back to his relatives in MN, IA and WI and so I offered to send him by train from our tiny town Amtrak actually stops not far from our rural home and he could get on 2 days after I've left to drive back to pick him up when he arrives in St. Paul. But he said NO WAY I want to travel with you in the RV. So I debated for about 6 years to go with a tiny camper, remake a van like you have done (I knew Lizzy from AR who did just this and she was driving up to MT every summer into her 80's where she loved to camp in 1-2 of my favorite campsites too and she also attended a religion retreat camp just not sure which one. I always said almost every time I was out camping I ran into other solo females or just 2 ladies out camping without men too. I'm hoping to have my Miss Mini-Mo on the road by mid summer if not earlier. Finishing the upholstery work pretty much restores her interior. And now friends are visiting next week who have owned campers for over 20 years to help me figure out how all the plumbing and electrics and gas lines function. I'm closing off the range top and will use like you a small single burner stove. I have been doing the solar charge and car charging batteries now for over 15 years. I started out with deep cell batteries and as soon as they came out I went with lithiums. I've got smaller ones too. Even made my very first 100 watt light weight solar portable charger myself. Then when I went to lithium I needed to rewire them and my husband stepped into help with that. Changing the plugs and providing a 30 foot extension so I can keep my cooler/freezer in the shade while putting the charge panels in the sun. A lot of my tent glamping days can be repurposed in the camper. So funny but some of my gal friends who wouldn't join me tent camping are all ready to go when Miss Mini-Mo is ready. Love it. Love to hear you are not afraid to stay over night at a cracker barrel too. I tried to stay at a costco or even stop at a dentists parking lot behind and out of site from main roads where the dentist is a personal friend but the gal friend with me her husband and another friend of her's got her all worried about someone trying to steel things off her car or the RV. I know such nonsense happens in larger cities but not out here. Not that it couldn't but I'm usually aware of my surroundings and can pretty much take care of any nonsense. Anyway maybe we'll catch you on the road one of these days. If ever near Libby MT...you are more than welcome to stay a night or two at our acreage and take advantage of our showers. We are 120 miles to Glacier Park but there is a lot of near by drives and short hikes or long ones too right around here. Look up Ross Creek Cedars and Libby MT for that feeling of what we retired too 20 years ago. PS I've had strangers park their RV when stopped and asked where they could stay around here. We have one free RV sewer dumpsite and another for 2 dollar donation. in town. Free lovely campsites without electric and sewer up the river and around the Koocanusa lake area. I even would lend one of my sea inflatable sea kayaks if you wanted to paddle around on a mountain lake. We had a friend a retired English Professor from Fort Collins Co visit us in 2004 in her 80's who stayed 9 days and brought her own sea kayak we took her out for her maiden voyage. Fran was a hoot for sure as we lost sight of her into the fog for about an hour. She finally came back into view and was thrilled with her adventure on Loon Lake. She was camping on her way here and back to CO in a small station wagon so a lot smaller than a mini-van. I just love knowing there are other people especially ladies who love the outdoors as much as I do. And by the way many of the gals I run across do have fellas at home much like mine. We all agree how lucky to have ones that are fine with us and supportive of us enjoying nature while they prefer to stay home and keep the pets fed and the garden and yard taken care of. Here's wishing you the most amazing joy and fun on all your marvelous adventures. Looks like you have thought of almost everything. Stay safe of course but enjoy your paths..
Thanks! You are a very good storyteller. 😊
i'm not reading all that
Love it! I’m all tucked in at Cracker Barrel and decided to see who was doing what and here is this lovely soul! Great set up! Can’t wait to meet her! Miss my tribe!
Miss you too, Ramona. She's doing the Route 1 Roadtrip!
Me and three of my adult children (two who are Autistic like me), are living in our 2013 Toyota Sienna. It isn't by choice though. That's a long story....anyway, I have been trying so many things for sleeping, curtains, cooking, showering, etc....and it really is hard for four people to live in such a tiny space. I love watching videos like this, and gaining inspiration. It has been two yrs now, but living in this van hasn't gotten any easier. I did have a mosquito netting like hers a while back. I had to buy two though. I had one on each side of our sliding doors. I did have to cut some, as it was a lot of netting, and it was long, so I used some of what I cut off on our sunroof to keep bugs out when I open the window. I used double-sided tape to hold it in place, and it's still there. It's been about a yr now, but the netting along the side doors was coming undone/falling down, and just getting in the way. We were all really frustrated with it, so eventually I tossed them out. We have no space for a "kitchen" as we sleep in the middle of the van on a platform that was given to us. Been trying to find a more comfortable mattress, since the Amazon Japanese floor mattress is way to thin/firm. We are hoping to find a way to fix all the issues, so we can start living instead of constantly worrying about all of this stuff all of the time. We have had some expensive issues with our van (compressor, radiator fan, battery, alternator, rotor/breaks), and now we need to replace our tires, and fuses/fusebox. 😢 Anyone looking to live in a minivan full time, just know that it may look cool, but it is a lot harder than you think. We didn't choose to live this way. We were forced into it. We are barely making ends meet, and we are sleeping at a gas station every night. Those who make it appear so easy are people who have a lot more money than we do. So unless you have the funds to support your new lifestyle, you will be struggling. Vanlife is "freeing" to those with the financial support of a great job or steady/healthy benefits. Without that, you will struggle/suffer hardship. These are the facts. I pray that one day, we won't have to struggle so much.
I'm so sorry you are having financial difficulties, and I'm proud of you for finding ways to survive. You're right. That is a world of difference from what we're doing. I pray you have a brighter future soon. 🙏 💙🦋💙
First I am so very sorry. My husband was diagnosed with vascular dementia. Right now he is fine. But once he dies because I am his caregiver and not working. I won’t have the financial resources to support myself. I do have young adult son. That is 26 years old he lives on his own. In little place with my 3 year old granddaughter. So if something happened to my husband. Yes he would let me move in with him. I have had a lot of mental health issues. He has been taking care of his mom his whole life. I don’t want him to continue to have to do that. Yes I have other family members that I could stay with. But I have pets the last time I moved in with my mom. For year my cats broke things and destroyed furniture. I really don’t want that to happen again. You and your children need place to live. Housing is human right. No one should especially disabled mother with disabled adult children. Should be left with no place to live. I don’t know what state you and your kids are in. But if you ever find yourself in Illinois. We have driveway you and kids. Can park in and food we can share. It is just my husband and I. With dog and cat. I always promised myself. That after our struggle being poor resulted in me. Being in ICU that I never wanted anyone to end up in the same situation. I won’t give you details. Because you and your kids have things a lot worse. Sending hugs and prayers from Illinois.
So sorry to hear that 4 of you live in that van. I had a queen size bed in my Ford Windstar. It was very comfortable plywood covered with camping foam from home Depot. Most comfortable bed I've ever had but I had the entire back to fit it and put storage underneath.
Have you checked with your state to see if you qualify for a check because of the children with disabilities? In my state a parent with special needs children can get a monthly check that is very liveable for the whole family. Best wishes ♥️
I’ve been a solo Motorhomer for 25 years in 3 countries and I LOVE IT! Total freedom.. no bills to pay and I can park it at an airport and take off to anywhere I want to. I’m 78 yrs young!
I love her spirit of adventure!
This lady is so youthful, agile, organized and cognitive of her surroundings. She hcas made this van a home, not a storage unit on wheels. I admire her resourcefulness. I want to be like her when I grow up. I'd like to nominate her for POTUS❣
Love it! 💙🦋💙
She is so cute! 78 years young and so vibrant! Love it. ❤
I love what Evelyn has done with her van!! So neat and tidy with everything a person really needs. We don’t need all the things that keeping up with the Jones has taught us through commercialism! A simple life well lived!! I am in the process of downsizing my home to be more minimalist. It’s so freeing.
Thank you so very much Jan for introducing us to such an inspiring woman! Safe travels and enjoy your journey.
Thank you, Rita. 💙🦋💙
Wow ! Many brave adventurous ladies out there! I’m incredibly impressed! Putting that van together w all you need! That’s fascinating. Enjoy!
Thank you! 😊
❤ She's got 10x the personality I have. I need my fixed home base. Would love to travel like this in the summer though.
Great lady and such a cozy setup! Very impressed by her fitness too! Inspiring to me at 73 after 2 brain surgeries I am not so brave as i use to be once upon a time. I go out for day trips but thats it. Bless this lovely lady❤happy days to her! Being kind is a great way to live too!❤

Sally, You’ve found an expression of exploration that brings you heart joy- good for you! 💝
Take care of yourself. I hope that your health is better now🤞🙏🏻🇨🇦
What an amazing woman! So courageous and living her life on her terms.

I’m 56 with a heart condition. I have a decent job but living in Florida, insurance costs… thinking about retirement early… seeing this really helped me. I can’t handle an RV on my own. But I want to travel - this was perfect timing ! Thank you!
Evelyn rearranged everything. She gives her van's details and you won't believe how much room she has now. Here's the update: ruclips.net/video/VcmXmI5L4Z0/видео.html
While so many boomers are still deeply in debt ... mortgages, credit cards, personal loans etc. it's good to see one of us with good sense.
An excellent example of.. The wisdom of simplicity. The luxury of efficiency.

What a role model! Thank you both
Our pleasure! 💙🦋💙
Amazing!!!! ❤❤❤❤ Night and day from you and my Mom.. same age. She saoon ready for a home. Her hsuband cannot handle her needs anymore and no one has space for my Mom. I'm proud of you living your golden years so well and full of adventure!!!
She really is amazing.
What a beautiful little lady. Great job on her no build. Jan is an encouraging wealth of knowledge.
Thank you so much! 💙🦋💙
I love Evelyn Gagnon. She is sweet, brave, and strong.
I adore this lovely lady. Her enthusiasm is infectious and she has put together a really beautiful, thoughtful home on wheels. I pray she has many years of adventures and making beautiful memories.❤

This is one of the most clever set ups I've seen. So clean and organized and just nifty!

Warms my heart to see her living for herself. Go Evelyn!

As a woman it is hard not to be able to live single. It's crazy how this is how we finally find some freedom to belong to this earth. Best wishes. N

I love my grandma...if she is going somewhere...I'm going to❤
What a great lady; seems so interesting and I am sure she's had a lot of things to share about life on this planet for 77 years!
She has got a nice set-up.

I love how neat and organized this is!
❤❤❤ she is the coolest grandmother i have ever seen
YOU. are an inspiration with all the vigor, life, and joy that does cartwheels around women three times younger than yourself. Thank you for sharing this. Much love and happiness.
Evelyn is an inspiration. 💙🦋💙
So fun but scarey ! I’m not that brave but I’m an admirer of her guts!
😊
I'm 73 and own my home which will go to my daughter. I simply couldn't imagine living out of a car. I have a Cadillac Escalade which is very nice but I don't think I want to spend a day, much less live in. I admire these ladies who are self sufficient.❤
Evelyn also has a nice home. She travels and camps with friends for fun. She explains that and shows her new arrangement in this video: ruclips.net/video/VcmXmI5L4Z0/видео.htmlsi=G70EVBH1fditjHX1
I can’t believe this woman is 78 yrs old. She’s on top of Everything. I’m so impressed. I just Luv her 💜
I am not very adventurous, but periodically I do something adventurous.
Lately, I keep thinking about getting a little RV or van and adding minimal items to it and travel across country to Calif. to visit family.
This video gave me ideas that I don't to have a professionally designed vehicle. I don't have the money to do that anyway.
It's cool this lady who is older is doing this. She gave me some courage to do this.
Thanks! ♥️

I love how practical she is. Wonderful.
I agree. 💙🦋💙
She gives me more courage to anything in this world like my grandma who just passed last June. God bless her energy, positivity and ideas. She's my hero

You’re amazing! I often wonder about elderly people traveling alone. I think about your safety and having a tracker. The reason I do, is because I always think if my mom was living, I’d have a tracker on her car. I’m so overprotective. Today, I think everyone needs one. I do admire what you’re doing. I just turned 47, and have thought about cruising over the U.S.A. with my pets! Keep pushing, lady! ❤❤

@@ButterflyTracks Ohhh, thank you.
Evelyn, thank you so much for allowing us to peer into your joyous world. I too might possibly be going in this direction into the future. It says a lot about your determination to be creative to free yourself to be who you really are. I am impressed and inspired of your space and life! Can you or anyone else offer the simplest way to keep Josie (your grandmother must have been an undaunted, free spirit too), warm for lengthy periods for those extra chilly situations. Thank you kindly everyone!
The best way to stay warm is to go to a warmer climate. However, even the south has some cold weather. Sleeping bag, small heater, window covers for insulation. 🙂👍
May God Bless & protect you everywhere you go/are 🙏❤️
She's sweet, with a cool, convenient build. God bless her, wishing her wellness and safe travels. 💐❤️🙏
Yes, thank you. 😊
Oh my gosh I envy you so much. I'm 58 years old now. I've had three jobs all my life and I've always wanted to get like a small RV or something and just drive around and live in it. You're doing my dream now. What a wonderful thing. I just found your channel. I'll be watching you. Thank you!
Thank you! Welcome to Butterfly Tracks. 💙🦋💙
I love your story, it's so inspiring for other senior women. You go girl!!❤🎉😊
I'm so impressed with this lady on how you can live and be happy with little things in life and be able to see the country. Hope she has a safe and enjoyable journey.

Evelyn you are a "GREAT POSITIVE INSPIRATION" for many women. I do LOVE YOUR OUTLOOK and ATTITUDE ("POSITIVE"). You don't look 78 years old, and you radiate smiles and happiness. Also you are a "smart lady". Now I'm more determined to get out there and go fishing by myself if need be. I've traveled to various places by myself. But nowadays we all have to be "extra cautious" and ALWAYS aware of your surroundings. I always carry with me a large good flashlight, a pepper spray, an automatic alarm type whistle with flashing signal light. "NEVER take anything for granted". But ALWAYS ENJOY LIFE. Good luck and God be with you.😇
Thank you! 💙🦋💙
Age is just a number, your positive attitude in life impacts everything about ageing. I loved how well-organised and clean she was. I always thought maintaining your mani/pedicure with van life doesn't mix, well she proves me wrong... What a joy to watch!! . 💗💚💓💯
I totally agree! 💙🦋💙
This makes me want to cry. She should be living in a comfortable home. This is what the USA has come to...
You might feel better if you watched the whole video. 😊 Evelyn has a comfortable home. She prefers to travel to beautiful places with friends for fun. Then she goes home. If you watched the video, you couldn't miss the sparkle of adventure in her eyes. 💙🦋💙 Thankfully, in America, she has the freedom to live her life to the fullest and not be forced to wait to die in a recliner. 🇺🇸
