That is a nice-looking revolver. My problem is I'm not sure whether to be jealous that you have all these nice guns or the fact you can shoot them so well. 😊 God bless you.
Thanks so much for the comment. I am trying to knock the rust off! I have shot less this year than I have in 20 years and I don't like it! LOL I am getting reacquainted though!
Had mine for awhile and it’s one of my favorites. I usually shoot it single action. Not appreciably slower and more accurate than 12 lb pull double action. I also added the crimson trace grip. Very nice review.
Another great video Buffalo! I love how accurate my 351 PD is. It might be the last revolver I would ever sell. Thanks again for all of your great work.
Buffalo, I know that you and I are old enough to remember Bill Jordan (i hope😅). He always held the 22 magnum in high respect for self defense. To many folks poop on a rimfire but ive always felt confident with any one that i found reliable.
@@buffalosoutdoorslovely revolver mate! Here in England, it's (to say the least) difficult to own a gun since the criminal Tony Blair banned hand guns in the late '90's..how many guns do you own?
Old Sir Tony Blair gets the blame for everything even things he didn't do!It was Sir John Major who virtually banned handguns in England, Wales and Scotland. You could add the late Queen too as she'll have put it forward in her Queen's Speech.
@@kevanhubbard9673 really? It wasn't Blair you say? Well..Blair has plenty of crimes under his belt so we can at least take satisfaction in naming him for being a miscreant
You have always been and continue to be one of the tippy top best shots i have ever seen in my lifetime. Just watched your video trying to catch a bullet from your .460 in water jugs at 100 yards. Offhand i might add. Amazing shot. I appreciate you being humble but your shooting is top notch. 👍👍
I’ve been looking forward to the next video! You make shooting a short barrel revolver look so easy however, I know its not. Love your videos. Please keep them coming!
Man that’s one slick wheel gun. Been wanting to pick up another revolver… so many to choose. Have seen these out there…definitely a j frame that you can shoot a lot without breaking your hand. Great shooting by the way!
I always enjoy your reviews Buffalo ,especially the series a few years with the CZ 527 MTR with an assessment of ammo. Keep them coming i keep waiting for the next one.
Glad you enjoyed the ammo testing series with that CZ. I been thinking about doing something else in a series like that but I don't know what just yet.
A great review. I've had mine for a few years now, always enjoyed shooting .22 LR and .22 Magnum. When I got the .351 PD I had accuracy issues. Thought it might just be me but even at 3 feet it was shooting to the right. S&W was great, they sent me a return label and I got it back a few weeks later. I forget what the paperwork said, but they did note some adjustments. Afterward, it landed point of aim; it fires at least as well as I can shoot. One thing I overlooked when I picked it up was one of the grips was slightly cracked, looked like over-tightening the grip screw. Not that noticeable, just annoyed about it for the price point. All ammo I have shoots fine except Aguila Silver Eagle, that brand locks the cylinder. I recommend getting the Speed Beez 351-07 speed loader for it and a reloading block. I chose the 10-cylinder block, which really helps send round downrange in a hurry. It's great that the ammo companies are making short-barrel rounds, which IMHO make the .351-PD a credible, if minimal, choice for carry. Again, good job Buffalo.
Thanks for this video.. as always, informative and interesting. I always enjoy your pistol shooting skills, you make it look so darn easy! Take care and be well.
That's a sweet little gun, but then, I don't think I've ever met a S&W J-Frame that I didn't like. Thanks for showing it to us. You got a pretty good deal on that gun, your local FFL must be a fan of the channel.
Hello, been waiting for this video , watched the short. Great job, bought one in 2018 right after I got out of hospital from a near fatal truck crash. Was very weak, so when I felt this gun I knew I wanted it. Stronger now but its one of my favorite guns. Thanks Subscribed !
Man, i must have been living under a rock, because ive never heard of this handgun. Well now im informed and ive got to say its got me curious. Great review. 👍
Good to see you again, Buffalo! That's alittle pricey revolver but it is a Smith so that's what's gonna happen for the quality. I love the 22 mag for pistols too, use it mostly in a Single Six and I'll keep my eye out for one of these to go with it.
Mine has a heavy double action, much heavier than any S&W j frame I own, but the .22 Mag is notorious for misfires. My King Cobra Target .22 has spoiled me. Keep it up you're doing a great job 😊
I’m sure glad you didn’t show me that shirt before the video I would not have been able to concentrate on the gun review!!😂 that’s so awesome 😎!!! Love your shooting skills!! AC/DC and Buffalo 💯💪
Thank you. Listen to a lot of different styles of music but AC/DC is my favorite. Glad you enjoyed the video and you must have made it all the way to the end to see that shirt.
I had one a while back. When I decided I did not want to carry a gun I sold the 351 PD. I wish I still had it. I really wish S&W made a version of the Model 63 in .22 WMR; all steel. There was a Model 651, I believe, but they are scarce and expensive.
Does anyone do a ballistics test on these? Thought maybe Paul Harrell did one on these 22 mags vs 22 lrs and found that, unless you have at least a 4" barrell, the magnum round is completely mitigated.
Picked up a used one at my locsl shop. Shoots great however had several issues with the cylinder locking up when using some aguila ammo. No issues with maxi mag or the speer gold dot.
This looks like a great gun! I debated way too long between the 351PD and the LCRx 3". I ended up going with the LCRx, but I think either revolver would be a great choice... or I could be like you and have both!
Have the LCRX in both 2/3 inch and love em both, however the 3 inch version is overall a bigger gun. Huge fan of the WMR. Happy Thanksgiving. All the best. "The JJ" SW Penna.
Great Review bro. I just repurchased the same gun. I recently sold it to my local FFL dealer and instantly regretted it! Purchased a J-frame 357 magnum and hated it. Went back to my local FFL dealer to trade it for some else... And there was my baby (351PD) waiting for me. LOL! So I swallowed my pride and repurchased it and I couldn't be happier. That .22 mag revolver would be really handy to keep in a tackle box while fishing. I usually keep an American Arms PX .22lr and a stainless Taurus 85 snubnose and a variety of ammo. This gun would be handy to have on you wading and fishing.
