    As far as road rage and worst drivers. I work as an over the road truck driver, y’all will never be as bad as Atlanta,Ga, nyc,ny, or chicago,Illinois. Utah is actually one of my favorite states and salt lake has been really good to me.

    Second video I’ve seen of yours and just found your channel … but not sure I can handle all the zoom-ins and outs in all your videos. Great information though, but ease up on the zooms - not sure if you are editing these in or if it’s a camera thing or what. Thank you for the info … will come in handy

    Newcomers are now bailing out of Utah--Most arrived not knowing what it is like living among Mormons

      Who would you say this? This isn't even close to what is happening to say the least, and although I truly respect others perspectives and opinions, no single person's small circle of influence can even come close to telling the story of the big picture... why do you say this?

    I would say the pros of visiting Utah is the outstanding conditions for snowboarding and skiing in the winter at Deer Valley, Park City, and many other surrounding resorts. Of the ski homes that we considered, they were all priced over 4 million. But it is expensive to build in the mountains. Utah also has a handful of beautiful national parks in the southern part of the state. And one of the pluses of not having a diverse population is there really is no crime. The negatives I suppose would be the air quality at various times, the extreme climate and the Mormon cult, LDS.
    There is a huge cultural influence that comes from the Mormon religion, especially in Utah County where the population is roughly 90% Mormon.

      Thanks for sharing! The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints is not a cult and the fact that many are still willing to do freely and easily express bias against, hatred for, and discriminate against the church and it's members (who settled this beautiful state) boggles my mind. What is this "Cult" doing that's making you feel that it's such a negative? I have countless acquaintances, friends, neighbors, clients and family who aren't members of this church who love it here and love living amongst these people. Can anyone imagine if we spoke like this about the current protected classes today? Or any other religion that isn't Christian? Bizarre.

    I live in Utah grew up in orem Utah and I live up north now I have a career job and I own my own car and Utah has so much to do but there is a lot of stupid criminals in Utah west valley city Utah is full of criminals and drug addics Stupid people..if you want to live in Utah best place to live in Utah is tremonton Utah up north everything cost less and isn't crowded.. Utah County is growing to fast and California people are moving in and bringing criminals and driving way too fast and driving with anger road rage is big in Utah County 😳the mormon church is in Utah and the state capital building is great to visit and see the historic museum...

    • @scottdsteele
      @scottdsteele  10 месяцев назад

      I will say this, everything is relative to one's own life experience and subject to what one's opinion is that makes a place great to live in. For some, that's the small town of Tremonton. For others, it's Salt Lake City, Park City, or Mapleton. It just all depends on what someone is looking for. As for crime, I would encourage anyone to look up the data and Utah ranks very high for the best states to live in including with respect to crime. Lastly, yes there are many people moving here from California but it only accounts for less than 20% of those moving here. The top 2 counties that people are coming from has been Clark County (Las Vegas) and Maricopa County (Phoenix) and as for bad drivers... that's a homegrown problem that I simply do not understand.

    The real estate bubble is ready to burst, don't buy now. It is not inventory or mortgage rates, prices are just unsustainable.

    • @scottdsteele
      @scottdsteele  11 месяцев назад +1

      Many people feel this exact same way. I agree that prices just aren't sustainable but in order for a bubble to burst, the conditions for a bubble to first exist need to be present and they just aren't, hence the reason that it's not happening. Real Estate is the ultimate example of the age old principle of supply vs demand and there are so many factors at play that is and has kept this equation out of balance (high demand and too low of a supply).
