Its called hogle zoo, not salt lake city zoo, also it is the university of utah. Not utah university... good video tho. Also zion like lion. Not z eye on...
Hi! Just found your vids. Great! Anyway I'm laughing at your opinion on utah winters. You've only lived here briefly. The 2023 winter was a huge anomaly. Sure it gets chiliy but it usually is fairly mild. It's not SoCal but it's not Wyoming or Minnesota.
You are absolutely correct the 2023 winter season was certainly record-setting, the winters here are definitely more mild than a lot of places in the country. Thank you for the input!
Hi scott! stumbled across your channel and i have to say i am glad i did. Your coverage on salt lake city is great with exceptionally well put videos, kudos to your team and editor 👍
HATE and I was born here and raised LDS!!! Nothing worse than being non-LDS and living in Utah. We have bad liquor laws and some really crazy ones too. But religious discrimination is alive and well in Utah, in fact a small town Utah had to pay a settlement to a man who applied as a police chief there. He was the only qualified person for the job and he did not get the job because he was NOT LDS. We the taxpayers paid him #80K for that. The LDS church was fined by the IRS for filing fraudulent tax returns going all the way back to 1995. $5 million per year was the fine and the faithful don't see the corruption all while everyone else does. Stay away from Utah, its a nice place to visit but the people are complete shite.
Perhaps anecdotal but I haven’t had an issue. I’ve been in the state for 2 years, haven’t encountered any jerks and haven’t been declined job opportunities because I am non-LDS.
Bro! Red Iguana blows. I am Mexican and from Los Angeles. That’s low quality. The carne asada is NY Steak. That should tell you everything you need to know. And, the salsa tastes like tomato sauce out of the can. There are better Mexican restaurants but still not up to par with Mexican food you would get from other major cities. The food in SLC actually isn’t that good. A lot of restaurants, yes, but the diversity hasn’t quite infiltrated the restaurants yet. The food is made to fit the clientele, which let’s be honest, is white.
I think you’ll only fit in if you’re a belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; or if they feel they can convert you. Ask Members of the Church about the CSE letter and buckle your seat belt.
As a non-member of the LDS community we have made plenty of friends and get along with our neighbors just fine. But it’s definitely true that is the biggest stigma about living in Salt Lake City.
I would only recommend going to BYU if you're a member of the Latter Day Saint aka Mormon faith; their university policies are very religiously conservative. And the dating scene is particularly bad for nonmormon, exmormon, and queer communities. And they could use much better updated public transportation; they've talked about extending service lines and adding more rail in preparation for the 2030 or 2034 Winter Olympics, but it'd be nice if they started now. Other than that, Utah's not half bad.
@LivingIn-SaltLakeCity it's already too crowded. It used to be quiet and great, then people started moving here and bringing their terrible politics with them.

Dude. If you live in Utah. Say Zion correct. Zion is said just like Lion.
Thanks for the tip! Probably my southern accept coming out :)
@@LivingIn-SaltLakeCity "southern accept"?
An “accept” relates to a person who has an accent that doesn’t inhibit their pronunciation, with an exception or two.

It's also important to state the cost of living is outrageous.
You should check out the video we made about affordability we posted a few weeks ago!
It will take you 2 hours to get back down little and big Cottonwood in the winter, normally 1 hour to get up
What do you think about the Gondola project?

Utah LEADERSHIP is garbage and corrupt; the people themselves are just trying to get by...
From st george, Washington county is like 750k for the avrage home so heads up St george in southern utah isint any better for housing cost
Very true. St George is also a competitive market. Have you enjoyed living there?
Remember to SAVE MONEY

I love Uth, but the food is not very good, specially the mexican, that has nothing to do with the original.

1 in four Utah's make less than 17 an hour and can not qualify for an apartment.
