Hi! Just found your vids. Great! Anyway I'm laughing at your opinion on utah winters. You've only lived here briefly. The 2023 winter was a huge anomaly. Sure it gets chiliy but it usually is fairly mild. It's not SoCal but it's not Wyoming or Minnesota.

You are absolutely correct the 2023 winter season was certainly record-setting, the winters here are definitely more mild than a lot of places in the country. Thank you for the input!

HATE and I was born here and raised LDS!!! Nothing worse than being non-LDS and living in Utah. We have bad liquor laws and some really crazy ones too. But religious discrimination is alive and well in Utah, in fact a small town Utah had to pay a settlement to a man who applied as a police chief there. He was the only qualified person for the job and he did not get the job because he was NOT LDS. We the taxpayers paid him #80K for that. The LDS church was fined by the IRS for filing fraudulent tax returns going all the way back to 1995. $5 million per year was the fine and the faithful don't see the corruption all while everyone else does. Stay away from Utah, its a nice place to visit but the people are complete shite.

Bro! Red Iguana blows. I am Mexican and from Los Angeles. That’s low quality. The carne asada is NY Steak. That should tell you everything you need to know. And, the salsa tastes like tomato sauce out of the can.
There are better Mexican restaurants but still not up to par with Mexican food you would get from other major cities. The food in SLC actually isn’t that good. A lot of restaurants, yes, but the diversity hasn’t quite infiltrated the restaurants yet. The food is made to fit the clientele, which let’s be honest, is white.

I would only recommend going to BYU if you're a member of the Latter Day Saint aka Mormon faith; their university policies are very religiously conservative.
And the dating scene is particularly bad for nonmormon, exmormon, and queer communities.
And they could use much better updated public transportation; they've talked about extending service lines and adding more rail in preparation for the 2030 or 2034 Winter Olympics, but it'd be nice if they started now.
Other than that, Utah's not half bad.
