Depending on the substrate, after he has pressure washed, sealed, or primed, its Acratex roof membrane by Dulux 2 coats is enough they come in 15ltr drums, and depending on how porous the tile is, you get about 7-8mtrs per ltr. Oh and it's all water based.
Only use mx primer if it still has it's orogional glazing on. Otherwise use wb sealer. Your 2 coats have to be angled differently to hit in-between both sides of the tiles, unless you like ugly orange lines. Can also add a touch of paint to your sealer to help with coverage invetween the tiles aswell. Everyone has their own method though

I’ve never seen a residential roofer wear a harness before where is he supposed to tie it off to?? Unless there’s 5 guys tethered to each other it’s not necessary
Jewels77 trust me u don't wanna paint your roof it's a con. It doesn't last it flakes off. Concrete roof tiles from factory have a coating on them they last about 50 years doesn't mean there going to leak then. They just start to sweat abit on the back of them. Clay tiles a bit longer. U be just wasting your money looks a mess to cause they spray everything valleys, cement work
@@williamlong4860 the shine dies down after 6 months or so because of dust, the colour starts to fade around 8-10, and if done properly it won't peel untill 15-20+ years.

Generally not, but it's always good to move cars to the curbside, also trim in the gables don't spray them.

It eventually wears of my neighbour got it done its now back to its origanil state
