They became friends but went in different directions, Tom fell into the partying lifestyle of Rappers, heading towards alcoholism, eventually having a mental breakdown through depression and anxiety, he was taken back to his mom's place where he didn't emerge from the basement for about 9 months, thinking he wouldn't get out alive, but he did and changed his ways and the direction of his music. Nova got her record deal, but she didn't want to be used, she was dropped unceremoniously. They've both been broken and through mutual understanding and support they are now bigger than the sum of their parts.
