Thank you. We started dating when I was 20, I’m 48 now. I don’t really remember much of my life without her in it. We have always taken care of each other and this was no different. My job let me do my work from wherever I need to be so I have been there for every appointment, treatment, and surgery.

Had cancer removed from my bladder 3x in 2021-22 before doing chemo. It hasn't returned but it could at any time. Currently taking care of my mom who has battled different cancers since 2003. She refused chemo this last time and just wants to check out if you know what I mean. I don't let it get me down. 🤘🤪🤘
I've had brain cancer for 17 years, and the Dr's said that I had 6-8 years. I was 26 years old, when I found out. My mom had cancer back in 1996, and I went through the same procedures as she did. They don't have to find a cure, but I find it a little suspicious that they haven't found better treatments for it in 25 years!

My best friend in Pennsylvania has been given 6 months to a year to live. He has been fighting his cancers for about 5 years now and then 2 weeks ago his wife passed away from a stroke.
My friends 15 year old son has cancer. He's kicking it in the teeth and fighting it like a man. Never complains through all the chemotherapy and spinal taps. I'm very proud of him. F cancer.
My mom passed away a year ago from cancer, a few months before she passed she heard me listening to this song. days later I came home and she was in her room with this song on blast. we sat together and just listened and cried. I will always be thankful for Tom for giving me that moment.

Commenting before watching. Ugh. At 14 the doctor walked into the x-ray room, told me i had a tumor, and walked out. Worst day of my life. Cannot watch Cancer or Scars (3 surgeries to remove everything) without getting choked up. GL
It's a couple of years on since my mother lost her right with lung cancer. It was that bad all they could do was to remove her lung. She survived the operation but died a couple of days later from heart failure, the operation and the cancer was too much for her heart to take, at least my father and brother got to say goodbye before she died. I live in London, England, where as the rest of my family live in Duham, the North East of England, 350+ miles away. I only found out about my mother's health problems a couple of days after my mother had died when my brother called me, crying, to inform me that my mother had died. The problem isn't with my family, it's with the doctors that had been doing doing a battery of tests on her trying to find out what was making her so sick and tired. The hatred I have in my system is for the doctors and consultants who missed the cancer in her lung and left it so late that the cancer had made her body so weak that her heart was too weak to take the.stress of the operation. I know there is only so much the doctors can do, but I still can't handle the poison in my system for the hatred of the doctors that missed the symptoms of her lung cancer. What do I do???

@bloomawayy 45x radiation and 13x chemo didn't do it. 61x immunotherapy treatments and a great attitude destroyed it. It was a long, hard road.

It's a couple of years on since my mother lost her right with lung cancer. It was that bad all they could do was to remove her lung. She survived the operation but died a couple of days later from heart failure, the operation and the cancer was too much for her heart to take, at least my father and brother got to say goodbye before she died. I live in London, England, where as the rest of my family live in Duham, the North East of England, 350+ miles away. I only found out about my mother's health problems a couple of days after my mother had died when my brother called me, crying, to inform me that my mother had died.
The problem isn't with my family, it's with the doctors that had been doing doing a battery of tests on her trying to find out what was making her so sick and tired. The hatred I have in my system is for the doctors and consultants who missed the cancer in her lung and left it so late that the cancer had made her body so weak that her heart was too weak to take the.stress of the operation.
I know there is only so much the doctors can do, but I still can't handle the poison in my system for the hatred of the doctors that missed the symptoms of her lung cancer.
What do I do???

This song hit me hard. Cancer has taken my Mother, two Uncles, a Grandmother, and a best friend. I've been avoiding this one. I have just discovered your channel through Tom's music and have been watching you go down the rabbit hole. It came up on your playlist, so I figured "Why not now?".

I lost my step dad to cancer about 5-6 years ago. This song still makes me tear up.

This song always hits home to me as I lost my best friend who was like a brother to me to cancer at the age of 28, that same year I lost my foster father to it and the following year my auntie was diagnosed with cancer but thankfully she survived it. To all those who've lost loved ones to cancer, I'm so sorry for your loss. To those who've survived it, thank you for giving cancer a massive f*ck you!!
