There's so many new people to Nova (past 5 yrs). Hardly anybody knew of her cause the Music Industry did there jobs by cutting her out, they canceled her before canceling became popular. I discovered Nova in 2012 and I've been following her for 11 years now, she is absolutely fire and I was so excited when she came back. Thanks to Tom for encouraging Nova to make music and as expected she shines like a true female rap artist should be. A bit of a history on Nova. How she got the name Nova Rockafeller. People assume that Nova is related to the Rock(e)fellers cause of the Rock(a)feller part and dont see the spelling differences, but she has no relation to them at all and her real name is Nova Leigh Paholek. Rockafeller was given to her by a group of rappers at a party that she was at, whom came up with the name Rock-a-feller, cause she rocks fellas on a mic. This was a lil bit before signing to Mercury Records which merged into Island Records and then finally merging into Def Jam Records before the label dropped her for no reason. She discovered this by her landlord at that time, when that landlord told her that her rent money was back due by months and will get evicted if she didn't pay the back due rent. Her ex-record lable was paying her rent (this is how the music industry works they pay your bills). They wanted Nova to be a lewd female rap artist and Nova not wanting to dress up in short skimpy outfits showing off her body. She did 2 or 3 videos like this and felt disgusted and degraded because all the record labeled wanted to do was use her as a sex appeal and not for her lyrical skills. People assume that Nova is related to the Rock(e)fellers cause of the Rock(a)feller part and dont see the spelling differences, but she has no relation to them at all and her real name is Nova Leigh Paholek. Rockafeller was given to her by a group of rappers at a party that she was at, whom came up with the name Rock-a-feller, cause she rocks fellas on a mic. This was a lil bit before signing to Mercury Records which merged into Island Records and then finally merging into Def Jam Records before the label dropped her for no reason. She discovered this by her landlord at that time, when that landlord told her that her rent money was back due by months and will get evicted if she didn't pay the back due rent. Her ex-record lable was paying her rent (this is how the music industry works they pay your bills). They wanted Nova to be a lewd female rap artist and Nova not wanting to dress up in short skimpy outfits showing off her body. She did 2 or 3 videos like this and felt disgusted and degraded because all the record labeled wanted to do was use her as a sex appeal and not for her lyrical skills. Nova is a Tom-boy pun attended, lol.
