I'd love to, but all I get is "404 Page Not Found" & if I go to Tokyo Ghoul on my watchlist, it still only has Root A & :re, the first season is nowhere to be found. Is this just me? Is it something to do with the fact I'm watching from the UK?
Honestly, I love how morally grey Tokyo Ghoul is. To the ghouls, he’s a murderer, but to humans he’s a hero fighting against what they believe are bloodthirsty creatures. Love this
What I also loved is that they are bloodthirsty creatures and nothing could be done about it. There's very little that stop predator and prey from not fighting each other. Then the ending kinda just glossed over that
Oh if only people could do things like having programs that make it to that people like perhaps Mass murderers or serial killers or people with no extended family and no plans for their bodies after death could be fed to the ghouls. All I've only people would take some human cells from donors of which could be the scientists themselves, and then grow it like there was a lab-grown meat patties. Oh it's only the amputated limbs of people who underwent surgical procedures to have them removed could go to the ghouls so that they don't have a reason to fight. They already know that humans are the only thing the ghouls can eat, and the last two times humans to something because of what they ate. Those two bird Wars didn't go so well for Humanity. Humans are the real bloodthirsty ones here, don't act like humans aren't.
but bcuz of Touka later the CCG gathered there top officers and commanders and an entire army on 20th ward and full fledged war took place an all out war took place were all of Antique cafe was exterminated and wiped out and Yushimora died bcuz of that war along with the entire military force of Antique cafe they were fully massacred and wiped out and specially that Aogiri also interfered in the war and it grown too big that Arima Kishou himself interfered and eventually cleared up all ghouls from 20th ward
Hinami is such a sweetheart, she really didn’t deserve to lose her father and kinda watch her mother getting killed right in front of her(Thank you Kaneki) and I’m glad she was able to have a happy ending in Tokyo ghoul:re

No. Any character who refuses to fight should watch people they love die directly as a result of their inaction. They shouldn't get to learn to do better, they should suffer for not being good enough.
Hinami is so mature in this though. She understands that her pain stems from being alone and missing her mother and father. Revenge is just a thought of trying to gain retribution for that void, but it wouldn't make things better. She had no interest in the cycle of hatred and just wanted the pain to go away
Love how Tokyo ghoul doesn’t just focus on sides and shows is that all around there are good individuals and evil ones and even ones who are just suffering a good anime 👍
I mean realistically why would he have any sympathy? Most ghouls have no remorse eating humans so it's probably hard to believe there are good ones out there

A ghoul who cares about humans so much that she's starving herself and forcing herself to eat what she physically can't. If they let themselves care about the only food that can sustain them, they'll starve, go insane, and die loathing everything they are.
Mado's Quinque (the spine-like thing) has to be one of the smartest concepts for a weapon. It really suits him since it keeps his distance between his opponents. Not to mention the way he uses it is so cool.
It was so brutal and tragic... Poor Hinami was a kind child, sad Mado was this mad... didn't bother to see the humanity, only ghoul... The music at the start also made for such a grey and bittersweet atmosphere! The music always made the scenes so beautiful in Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul √A !!! Especially the piano ones!
How do you get such an awesome well adapted first season like this....and everything just falls further and further from its source down the shitslide? This series deserves better.
This whole time in the show, the whole point, we’re people fighting for their own beliefs, only to find out at the end that they all have something in common, even the enemies.
As messed up as a person he was he was genuinely a good kind man at once but because he let revenge take hold of his heart he lost sight what was actually important to him for even an monster like him was a father.
As someone once said who ever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster but between ghouls and humans which is which?
Even if people see tk ghoul as this emo show, it is really nothing like this. Its one of the top anime for me, and probably for anyone that has watched it

He was definitely one of the most interesting antagonists. Every main character who came out of Season 1 was top notch. After that the story just trails off. Still when it comes to storytelling, it's both the writer and animators, not just the character, and maybe it's good his arc ended before the show could degrade.
This clip is as good if they remade everything beyond it. This series deserved so much better, and it's obvious Shuhei Morita was the only one keeping it from Pierrot mucking it up.
I love Tokyo Ghoul so much, but they totally messed up the anime…. It deserves so much better. Hopefully someday a reboot will come and it’ll be a masterpiece.

I would argue the source was kinda a mess near the end as well. Or atleast it was a mess to me, especially the pacing.
