    The A15 is no longer overkill. This new Apple TV 4k supports Apple Music Sing, so you can do Karaoke if you have Apple Music. The old Apple TVs won’t support that! So, bravo on making this video!!

      Yes! Just saw the news. Looks like the A15 version will continue to get better and better.

    The A15 may seem like overkill, but if you are like me and use an Apple TV for quite some years before replacing it, you will be happy to have that much excess power on the chip. Also, no Apple SoC supports AV1 hardware decoding. Knowing that this will likely be the next big codec on the internet, you may actually need the power of this chip to even play back AV1 encoded content in the future.

    Thanks for this video, Umar. For the most part, I use Rokus in my house. I like the Roku interface. It's simple and intuitive. Unfortunately, it has no bluetooth connectivity. I bought this Apple TV 4K unit and it connects seamlessly with my Airpods or a Bose bluetooth speaker I had lying around the house. That makes a world of difference. Plus, it is faster and more responsive than any of the Roku models I have, and therefore was worth the extra money. I hesitated to buy the Apple TV unit for that reason ($$$) but I'm glad I did.

    I am considering an Apple TV for the exact same reason!
    Like you, I have an LG C1 and I agree - the WebOS user interface is so laggy!
    Nobody seems to bring this up and instead, they praise how good WebOS is.
    Even worse, they did some stupid update where I get bombarded with a bunch of random notifications on the bottom of the screen and I can’t click apps underneath it.

    • @umartirmizi
      @umartirmizi  Год назад +2

      Agreed ! The Apple TV has pretty much solved all the issues I had with my C1.
      Thanks for watching !

      Im highly considering buying a c1 in 55 or 65 inch, do you enjoy the tv? Are you gaming on it or only watching Netflix etc. I’m also thinking of buying the Apple TV next to the C1.

    • @umartirmizi
      @umartirmizi  Год назад

      I love my c1, I would say if you are in a bright room , directly opposite a window you will definitely notice that’s it’s not a super bright TV, however for everything else it’s great. I’m considering upgrading to a 77” even!

    2 HomePodts does add Dolby Atmos, but you can not compare the sound experience with a psysical 5.1 none atoms system as the physical placements of rear speakers makes a more emersive sound than 2 HomePods. I thus prefer the Atmos from my AirPods Max to the Atmos of my HomePods as I do get the experience of hearing the sound in front, above and behind me with the headphones compared to just in front of me with my HomePods.

    • @umartirmizi
      @umartirmizi  Год назад

      This is absolutely correct ! HomePods can’t compare with dedicated surround system. Still a great option to have if in a pinch !
      Thanks for watching and adding your input!

    • @mcirone
      @mcirone Год назад

      If you have the HomePods/TV set up near a wall, and you’re sitting near another wall, the speakers use the walls/multi directional speakers to simulate 5.1. But yes, I agree with you 100%. It’s more subtle than with the AirPods Max/Pros

    I have an LGCS Oled (C1 with newer processor) and I don’t find the GUI responsive, also not intuitive. Little frustrations here and there especially with the mouse type cursor. I’m really looking forward to get my Apple TV.

    The new 4 k is nice. I have had to replace it as it disconnects all the time. Now the replaced one does the same. Apple told me to wait unt there is a software fix.. something to do with Bluetooth interference.
    Seems like it is happening to a lot of units.
    I do like your presentation of this product though.

    Is it possible to use two different accounts on one Apple TV?
    I was thinking of buying the new Apple TV and passing the old apple TV to a friend, therefore I'm hoping not only will he be able to open his own account on it but he will also have access to my movies from my account as well!

      @@umartirmizi Thanks for your quick reaction. I don't have an Apple TV at the moment and I was not sure that it would be possible because in the Google Photo app on the IPhone I see only the chromecast ikon and not the airplay ikon.

    • @umartirmizi
      @umartirmizi  Год назад +1

      I wouldn’t ever say it’s a need, however it is a much smoother browsing experience. As long as you have a “smart tv” you can download just about any app on it. The Apple TV just enhances the experience.
      Hope this helps!

    • @RogerZoul
      @RogerZoul Год назад +2

      Smart TVs usually stop supporting apps after a certain age, so a streaming box is an easy solution and way cheaper to replace than a TV (well, the better ones). And the no ads experience is a big deal for me.

    I just Stream Apple TV+ for $7 a month without all that stuff on my Roku 4k TV, my Samsung Tab S7 plus & my S22 Ultra. My Wife will stream sometimes on her 13 Pro. Which is why I ask.
    Why buy all this when you can just do the same without it?

      If you are a Apple user; it’s a must. I hav a lg c2 and the smart tv is ok. Besides what he talks about. The remote is so intuitive. I also, added a case that holds a apple air tag because it’s size is so small that i kept losing it. Also, if you have more then one Apple TVs, the changes you make, applies to all of them.

    I own this and I've owned the two previous 4K ATV's. It's nice in a lot of ways but I have to say the Roku Ultra is better. The Roku remote is way better. I know Apple loves aluminum and how "premium" it is over plastic, but cold, hard, sharp edged aluminum feels lousy in your hand compared with the Roku's awesome, form fitting remote. Also......the picture quality. Roku is actually better. There is just some weird fuzziness to the ATV pic and I've noticed it on all models. Perhaps it's over aggressive sharpening processing that's creating it? But the Roku picture looks much clearer/smoother/non pixellated by comparison.

    • @umartirmizi
      @umartirmizi  Год назад

      Hmm I’ve never had any issues with picture quality on the Apple TV.. but like I said, the integration features for me are worth putting the Apple TV above others! Not for everyone though and that’s fine!
