No offense... but the reason wow turned to absolute garbage was it grew too big and they started hiring people who were NOT s/w developers/artists to intervene and manage the projects and company. Fans don't run good companies. The reason is simple.... they aren't PROFESSIONALS. They are there because they only like playing the game. Are they capable of doing something great? Who knows. Walking into a job doesn't make you elite.

When everyone was talking about what got them into WoW for the first time, brought back so many great memories and lost days. For me, I heard some gamestop employees talking about it in store one day and thought yeah that game isn't all that... not but a few months later, in 2006 and there was a popup, Try World of Warcraft free... The size of the world, amount of things to do, I was blown away then. I was back at that store and bought it a week later, just blown away at the gear look, and my friends I grew up with got it and even bought computers to play then.
I haven't been thrilled with BfA and haven't played in awhile, but the passion nostalgia has really gotten me considering it right now. I know some good peeps there I haven't spoken to for a long time.
53:20 I think this is a really important thing to hear. I think a lot of us long time Blizzard fans have been worried by the departures of the last few years: Metzen, Morhaime. To hear from someone who was on the receiving end of the layoffs that J Allen Brack is cut from the same cloth is heartening.
It’s outstanding how good hotted and asmon are at hosting. They let the show be about the guest.
But rich.... it’s literally like having two competing guests at all times. Rich is always looking to steal and derail the show with stupidity and his own bragging bullshit. It’s a real downer. I wish he wasn’t apart of the show.
The amount of times I thought to myself “just shuuuuut uuuuupppp” while rich was blathering on was at an all time high this episode.
Radoslav Rafaillov I would argue my dislike for him is purely because of it. Read the comments. I’m not the only one. I have friends that have stopped watching purely because of him as well.

I agree that Rich makes the show a bit lower quality, but honestly I think Asmongold and Hotted enjoy being around him. If that's what they want I think that's enough reason to have him on.

I really like the idea of having season themed gear. It doesn't have to be just tied to raids. People asked for this and are liking what they are seeing in CoS. If a new loot table isn't feasable, then at least a special seasonal item for each dungeon would mean a lot.

Caden should be a new host on Allcraft, he could give some amazing insight on thought processes in WoW from the development team. When they talk about ideas going on about the game it'd be super interesting to hear him weigh in on it.

I remember when i was young and had a bad pc, i would have to make tickets everytime i got on a zepplin cuz my pc would load too damn slow. I ended up having a conversation with a gm about music and stuff. My experience with blizzard cs has really spoiled me.
It would be cool if each spec had something unique gampeplay-wise.... for example furry warrior woudl have a cooldown which would give him crazy attack speed but it would also slash their HP by 90% which would punish every mistake while that buff is on.

Dudes. If I could bring back any design for any spec I’d choose every single class and spec with lists of pandaria 5.4.8. I’ve never loved class design since as much as I loved it back then.

Sakaar was talking about his first epic. I remember leveling my lock back in Vanilla and finding a staff of jordan at around lvl 38. I remember mz girlfriend at the time and I freaking about getting an epic. Good ole days.
1:23:50, I’m actually very surprised/disappointed none of you guys brought up class design or character progression. You all talk about it so much. I can’t disagree with your opinions though. They were great.

FF14 is a good case study for the benefits of ability pruning - My hotbar in that game is three rows and some classes have so many skills I'll run out of room on them. Some classes, like Samurai, have six different AoE skills and they all have situational use. They need to take things out in order to have room to add more, just keep it within reason.

pandaria MM hunters were in the sweet spot of kinda broken but asking for skill too, dk was waaay op in pandaria but with skill i ebat some in 1.v1 and world pvp

I like hearing from them but when i have a ticket it feels like i get copy paste responses that show no customer service. custom top paragraph and bottom that they pre-created and the middle is copy paste and doesn't even necessarily reflect my message. be nice if they actually did CS work and responded and explained things to people and engaged them rather than have copy paste answers. Blizzard CS is worse than sprint or comcast at least u feel like ur not talking to a bot. I think the lay offs are unfortunate but CS needs changed vs the copy paste responses that don't really address the issue and theres never communication, its one response and the ticket is closed. no dialog.

Odds are there will come a time when he could look back on saying that and know it’s not true. But at this time in his life it really probably is the worst thing that’s happened. Imagine getting your dream job and then getting laid off from it. That’d hurt.
