I have to thank you for your tutorials. I started learning 3ds max a year ago as a hobby while I was working and now I have just finished first semester of design studies. I'm learning more rhino and alias now, but your tutorials taught me the basics of 3d modeling🙏

Brilliant video when you see the steps like this its really shows the thought process behind procedural models. The array modifier is such a godsend.

This is a very elegant way to make a roof! Thank you, awesome to learn, I really love that it's quick and you can return to basic primitives to iterate upon everything that's been built.
One thing I wish was built into Array modifier is some Railclone functionality, like element stretching/squashing, that would increase the potential of such setups even further.

Well I think the idea is that it isn't as complex as railclone. If you need to push things further that is what plugins like that are for.

Hi, thank you for sharing ! :-) I personnally use a referenced tile to do the job, so I could modify the tile once if I need.

Cool. This video isn't about the referencing system. It is showing a modifier workflow only.

@@harmandeepsingh1807 The point of the video is not to teach you how to make a roof but how tools and modifiers work that you can make anything with.
