The tools available now are incredible. Love this conform feature, there are so many times I wish I had known this before! Great videos, love how you get straight to the point, explain with confidence as you demonstrate, and keep moving on to the next key example. I self-taught myself 3DS max when I was 11 years old (started with 3ds Max 2006), it's been quite some time and my desire to fully take on 3d modeling as a career/ game artist faded around (3ds max 2016) and so did my 3d modeling skills. I know a lot of this video may be sped up in places but the speed and efficiency of your workflow in these quick examples has inspired me to get back into 3ds and finish some old projects of mine and start some new ones to incorporate into my current field of 2D interface and UI design work. Glad I came across this!👍
The best thing about this workflow is: Time. Previously I created details seperately and placed them on a surface, having to manually conform the edges to the surface geometry and even then it does not look right. With this workflow I easily added a detail in 10 minutes, instead of an hour, while it also looking way better. Kinda makes me feel silly having wasted so much time previously.
i am getting an issue where a surface has gaps in between like a bevel and when I try to conform a cloth or bandage around it gives me a strange results
I'd probably duplicate the object, fill the gaps in the duplicate, conform the bandage to the duplicate, remove the duplicate and then either leave it as it is, or if you need it to be a single object: stitch the original object and the conformed bandage together.
Hi Arrimus, great video, I was surprised you didn't cover rapid tools conform and tyflow conform, it would be great to have a video covering these also 😊
The conform mod in tyflow has been updated and has a volume option which allows you to place objects on a surface. Not sure if you new that Arrimus but gr8 vid as ever!

He probably does, but that requires a script. Being able to do it with base tools is rather valuable information IMO.
he had already made videos on tyflow modifiers before.. but he has removed everything
What a pity.

08:44 : How did you move the box edge into a triangle?

Master bruh! Thanks for the tip dude, love your ways!
You're too clever. Love it
anyone knows how did he convert the faces into a circle? 8:32
He used "Loop Regularizer" script. He's made a dedicated video on the tool.

THANK YOU !
Great 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thx lot
Can show us TF terrain please ?
thanks for idea 🙏
That's so great,
Thank's
is it just me or does 3dsmax seem to have better base topology when joining objects?
Tyconform still the faster conformer ever seen
Ameliyat ediyorsun bro :)))
TyConform is a good tool as well
You saved my life, f**k conform space warp
thanks.
I love your videos, but your setup seems so far from the default and you go so fast that it is hard to keep up. My toolbar looks nothing like yours...
Thankyou for this video, Very Informative
Thank you!.
