Manson had some talent and did indeed come up with that melody/track. The fact he was an absolute headcase is a different story altogether. The far bigger story obviously.

One need not look much further for Brian's insider knowledge on the construction of this specific song. This clip contains insights about Never Learn Not To Love that I had never read or heard before and wouldn't have known otherwise, so I thank you for this precious gift.

20/20 had cover songs of Charles Manson, Phil Spector and Leadbelly.... these 3 have more in common than being songwriters😵

Neil liked his songs . Some inner voice warned him to avoid the Family .

2020 is the name of The Beach Boys album they were talking about
Thinked the same, i tried to find a logic answer, and then remembered that 20/20 was an album, my favorite song "I Can Hear Music" by Carl Wilson, greetings

Dennis did a lot more with Charlie than that song, and Brian recorded a whole album of Manson at his house.
Little bird is also rumored to have some of Manson music in it
