I think it may be time for a mask video... sound off, what kind of videos do you want to see?
Is there a period correct leather hat that you could design? Something like the knitted one you are wearing in the video? Being follicly - challenged myself it would be nice for the winter time.... Cheers
Hey I really loved those timelapsed story videos. The time lapse was cool but your voice is perfect for stories. Mayby the story of baldor since youve done a Thor one?
@@CutTimeBrony I haven't done one of those in ages, digging that idea.
Could you team up with Levi to offer us a samurai battle mask, with the mustache and the straps to tie it?
Why not a leather plague doctor mask, with your own personal style, of course.
At this point it's not a dark horse episode if magnus doesn't put to much antique gel on his projects
I like that it was totally fine... and then I doubled it... Pretty sure it's in my head now.
Every time I watch your videos, you stick way too much gel on the piece, and then go "that's way too much gel." 😂
I love your work. Your skill and your aesthetic are a big inspiration. Thanks for all you do!
Ooooo make some Viking shoessss ❤️❤️
When you replace the strap cutter blade, pay slightly more and get the stainless blade, they slide thru the leather so much easier.
While your electric slicker is going you can use steel wool to take off the layer of color off. Just a suggestion.
I almost thought you were going to get the perfect amount of antique this time! Lovely piece as always!
Haha
Springfield Leather Co. has several edge bevelers, if your a Veteran or a business let them know so they can give you their wholesale price. Their customer service is excellent and they are friendly and knowledgeable.
Awesome tutorial Magnus!
If you want a rapiere and a dagger to do a full musketeer belt + rapier frog+ dagger scabbard I can drop my weapons at the door of the shop.
Let me know, I drop them and knock at the door and leave.
Amazing job
Just bought my first set of tools . I am inspired. Will be getting patterns soon. Start small and slow. Magnus appreciate the work and the videos
4:40 ive found that cutting up all purpose sponges i bought at home depot, wetting the the leather, and using a circular motion when staining minimizes the streaking to almost none
I love your videos, so relaxing
Awesome work! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
I have done it and I really appreciate this, awesome result. thank you for this pattern =)
So amazing to watch you working and also relaxing.
Many greetings from switzerland and keep well in this situation
Thanks! :)
Bought the pattern yesterday, guess what is coming soon! So hyped!
First time seeing your videos. May i say you do excellent work and have very nice commentary. As a fairly new beginner coming into leather work I feel like this was very well put together and I never felt overwhelmed or confused. Good work, I’ll definitely check out more of your videos
Dude please i need a leather axe hangar
Can we get a video on making a scabbard? I’ve been looking for good tutorials, but I don’t like any of the ones on YT. Preferably one without a wood core?

DieselpunkRo has a good video review of the Palosanto edge bevelers. He also has another video review of the edge beveler sharpners.
Have you tried dye pens for the close in work/detail work? I had the same problem and I bought a bunch but haven't had the opportunity to try them yet
I have actually, they work very nicely but I'm also getting decent with the brush.
Beautiful work! I love all your videos. What sword did you use in the video?
I stole it off my studio mate Levi's bench of Drawbridge Props and Armoury.
Any chance you could post a link to the rivets you use? I've been having a hard time finding good reliable rivets
Jaycee rivets has some dome head peening rivets.
Why no colour in the design, Do they bleed together?
I'm always trying to just make the carving pop as much as possible on camera. You can paint the knotwork if you want for sure.
Size of the rings? I'm having a hard time hearing that in the video, because English is not my first language
I do like your videos
