#Eternals #Marvel - Развлечения
Good video, but Thanos is NOT a Deviant. He is an Eternal with a Deviant mutation. He is basically a mutant among the eternals which is why he is so powerful.
Who knew being a mutant would make him dumby thicc
More like... Deviant Syndrome.
So how did Thanos end up on Titan?
Cyril Moore um we all know that
@@urquijom1 he was born on titan from an eternal parents but possessed the deviant gene so he was born monstrous in size.
They seem like they're kinda like Marvel's version of the New Gods.
And it's funny cause Jack Kirby created both.
Ikr but new gods are actually popular tbh. Once marvel makes externals people are gonna think the new gods are knock offs of the eternals
Yeah, that's because both DC and Marvel didn't want to give Jack Kirby the creative freedom to write what he wanted. The Eternals were never meant to be part of the Marvel Universe. Instead, it was supposed to be a comic set in a self contained universe.
The Eternals are meant to be the mythological gods on Earth. The problem is that because of the way that Marvel folded them into the Marvel universe there are now 2 sets of mythological gods. All because they didn't want Jack Kirby to share his vision with the world.
Now that's a shame. I'd have loved to see a little bit more of Kirby's ideas.
David Apollonius right he died to soon. His creative works could have introduced a lot more great comic book characters.
I think it's because Jack went to DC not long after he created them and they didn't quite pick up in popularity so he did a similar, albeit different in origin and mythos, project which became popular (not sure which group came 1st to be honeat)
@@kanjibaka 4th World was first. I'm actually amazed that DC didn't sue the pants off of Marvel for that.
The planet Knowwhere is literally a Celestial skull
The Avengers current headquarters is in the corpse of a Celestial.
@@sergioandrade8735 Yeah and I hate that, get them back in the Avengers Mansion.
@@sergioandrade8735 in the comics? How did they even?
That's why it's called nowhere
MyKey Acosta It was a Gift Given to them by the celestials when the Avengers Killed the Mad Celestial \ Horde
Starlord is half Celestial....in the Movie universe.
Because Ego is a Celestial in the MCU.
But ego died. So did the half celestial inside of starlord.
I can see them coming back in the 3rd movie.
@@noelsrx376
I think that was such a missed opportunity
For starlord to have maintained, some sort of power's... Oh well.
Pfff such basic knowledge 👎👎
@@noelsrx376 i think in some way or the other Marvel would try and rebuild the celestial in star lord because he is currently a total waste
Definitely here after the Eternals teaser trailer
Who’s here after finding out Eternals is releasing in 2020
bhris Gonz basically bootleg new gods
Sho'l is!
Kinda why the video is here to
+
Not me. This came up when I typed Fraternal
Ya ya.. We are all here after the announcement of Phase 4.
Wut?
Now after the reannouncement of phase 4 release dates after COVID
Yessir, trailer was released
Jack Kirby's style of sci fi is so unique to himself. It has such a strong distinction, & brings me some much nostalgia since I've read his books since I was a kid
I’m only gonna watch Eternals because I found out they casted Don Lee AKA the bad ass buff dude from Train to Busan.
I fucking loved him in that movie
@@BlackSuperman1100 sad ass movie 💯😪
the snowpiercer too
facts..gang gang
He is playing the forgotten one one of the most strongest eternals
DC: The New Gods
Marvel: The Enternals
Both made buy the same person
Actually the Fourth World's New Gods were first at DC.
New Gods are stronger than Eternals. Look at the basic strength level of Darkseid and Thanos. Without infinity stones, Darkseid can wipe the floor with Thanos.
Toprak Yetimoglu even with the infinity stones true darkseid makes thanos his bitch and even a single mob in new gods cities can punch with forces equal to a 100 galaxies and that's just an insignificant person so imagine the powerful ones
Yuga khan is beyond strength 👹😈💪
if the Eternals have the ability to control molecules, could Ego be retconed into an Eternal? since he doesn’t show traits of a traditional Celestial
The Eternals are quote-on-quote "descendants" of the Celestials, so they can just say that he shares the powers with the Eternals because he is the Eternals' ancestor. They could even retcon it to say that he is a direct ancestor (father/grandfather) of one the main characters in the upcoming film.
@Kimble Simpson I know, but that doesn't mean it's bad - not everything has to 100% comic book accurate. Having elements of variety makes for a better film adaptation.
@Kimble Simpson Doing it right and doing it accurately are two very different things. Look at masterpieces like Logan and The Dark Knight - they did something close, yet different to the original source material and it paid off. Same with the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films, Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy and the Russo Brothers' Captain America. All brilliant. Now look at the adaptationa that were almost 100% comic book accurate - the latest Hellboy, The Amazing Spider-Man films, the first two Fantastic Four films. All critical and financial bombs because people knew what would happen from the comics and/or they felt like cheap rehashes that didn't take the characters and stories in a different direction. Obviously do something that celebrates the source material, but doing something different isn't a bad thing.
@Kimble Simpson Okay, so that's an example of when you differ too far from the source material, only referencing it (although some would argue that those elements are only small and that they still stayed extremely faithful to the comics, which again can be a bad thing). Creatives and filmmakers need to find a balance between what works and what doesn't. It's very hard and a lot of great filmmakers have done it - so saying that it's not comic book accurate isn't necessarily a bad thing.
@Kimble Simpson when there's a multiverse accurate is irrelevant
Jack “The King” Kirby and Stan “The man” Lee 💕 iconic duos, may they both Rest In Peace.
The enterals has to be the way mutant get introduced
Theyre 100% gonna bring up thanos and explain that hes a mutant
TheEman11910 but thanos is a enteral with the deviant gene so I don’t think they will make him a mutant
Mutant like in the X-Men ? sorry i’m new and know nothing about . was wolverine the first x men ?
@@Mentosfreshnes no he was not
@Giovanni Balbosa-Mc Intosh ok but eman was talking about the X-men from what I understand I was basically saying thanos is kinda different from x-men from my understanding so they may not bring what he talking about up but your right he is a mutant of his kind
Thanos is an Eternal with his “Deviant genes” that came to the forefront.
I saw the teaser trailer I do not know who they were so I went to this video to find out who they were
Milly Bobby Brown refuted those rumours a couple of days ago... WompWomp
@@blackmachine312 Right, like Matt Smith is RUMORED to be in Rise Of Skywalker. So I would simply have phrased it that way instead of saying "that they are attached to the movie". Especially since M.B.B just "debunked" this.
Thank goodness she sucks as an actress
@@emmanuellagrangepaquet2663 he was in the movie but he got cut out

I always liked these characters! Glad they're getting a movie!
this aged poorly
This is perfectly timed for the movie
Do you think that is a coincidence?🤔🤔🤔
So... Technically, Thanos share the same ancestor as humans
maybe not in the movies, he seemed to be just another alien in the flicks
Yeah. He's a Celestial with a deviant mutation.
Yes. His people were Eternals who left Earth and created a new society on Titan.

I'm here right after the new Marvel Studios Celebrates The Movies Trailer!!
The future is looking bright for comic book movies!
Angelina jolie is confirmed and I’m already hyped as well with fantastic four
thena will be huge. can't wait
terrible casting
Angelina Jolie should played Cerise
that is what I keep saying, Jolie is the perfect Sercei. It reminds me of the Tobey McGuire Spider-Man when they had Kirsten Dunst play MJ when she was the perfect Gwen and with the relaunch had Emma Stone play Gwen when she was the perfect MJ.
Did the MCU mention plans the Fantastic Four 4 phase 4?
I think there is an errata here. Thanos is actually one of the Eternals but he looked more like the Deviants. Another famous eternal is Hyperion.
Here from the new marvel trailer showing new eternals footage 2021
Thanx for this Arris!!! Appreciate your knowledge & expertise on this matter....like numerous others around the world, I'm looking forward to the next phase in the MCU & this vid helps establish a foundation of understanding for when the next movies start rolling out...thanx again!!!!
The Eternals should set up The X-Men, Hercules, and Namor the Submariner in the MCU.
Can't wait for San diego comic con this week. 🤓📺
Im from New York will it be televised?
no it won't
@@c-mc it v

@@parlayphresh3062 someone will leak it online, you just gotta wait an extra day.
Your videos are absolutely fantastic! I love them
Great video as always! And love the specs! Don't hesitate to ditch the contacts again.
I also appreciate that the silly interjections/quips that have been prevalent in recent videos weren't as rampant this video; they were really disengaging for me.
Finally, you admitted it, we’re going to get a video explaining the origins of the celestials.
This is my favorite youtube channel. Keep up the good work Arris! To you as well all of those behind the scenes. All of your work is greatly appreciated :)
Excellent, I’ve been waiting for this one ☝️
I've watched your videos before but this video got me to subscribe 👍🏼
I want The Squadron Supreme in The MCU.
I hope in future the MCU will do a movie about the Celestials and as close to story lines with the comics.
We barely know shit about them in the comics, sunshine...
🤍
Movie Teaser came out today
Nice video, very informative. Keep up the great work!!!
I am so looking forward to them expanding the universe like this!!
I'm so old I actually bought that first issue at the Pot O' Gold in 1976! I always was a Kirby fan.
Good Work
I have been waiting for this video.
Could you please do a history of kraven the hunter? Love your channel!
Hey man love your show, where did you get that marvel comics T-shirt
I saw one at old navy
Great vid bro...not as familiar with marvel as I am with dc, so these vids are really helpful
Nice! Thanks so much for the video.
Here after watching the trailer🤗
Please do history of the celestials.

Also can we get a history of the new gods.

Please keeping do history of the more obscure characters or lesser known it helps give these amazing characters the recognition they deserve
Anyone else here after the reveal? 😂
Who's here after the first teaser dropped
Knew nothing about these guys thanks brother 👌💪💪🙌
Can you do a detailed video on the Deviants? That would be fun to learn!
Also, and this is just a suggestion; keep the spectacles! Helps enhance your profile!
Who's here after the Eternals Trailer
Variant Comics can you do a Origins Of Dc's The Light and the history of them.
Another great video, bruv..
What an amazing coincidence I was just drawing of some Eternals and you just did a video about them how cool is that
What I want to see in the future of the MCU is the Savage Land? What can be more awesome then a Jurassic Park in Marvel?
The Eternals might be an opportunity for that, because the Savage Land was the result of alien experiments same as the creation of the Eternals. So while the Celestials were experimenting on humans they also decided to study the dominant life forms, which were the dinosaurs.
I've read Marvel comics for decades but just couldn't get into the eternals
Thx 4 info 😝
How has this channel not hit 2 million subscribers
Could u do a who's who video now that the cast is confirmed (and millie bobby brown isn't in it) and which characters they'll be playing?
If the eternals do try to attack the avengers we can just snap them away
Love that eternals and celestial appeared in the mcu before most mcu watchers would’ve even thought about them (like thanos)
here cuz that eternals trailer tripped me out
Do the history of Namor.
If you were to pick up one of these graphic novels which would it be a good modern intro to them? The original Kirby stuff as great as he was is a harder read due to how old it is
Nice vid. I loved the Motion Comic series.
Ayeee Had To Watch This Video Rq💀The Trailer Dropped‼️Variant Comics Y’all Are So Clutch😭💯
Seeing this now after the trailer, that rumor for Millie must of been off or the deal fell thru.
Hail to Jack ''the king'' Kirby baby.
I'm here because of the new trailer
Can't wait for the movie
Arris looks like Kevin Smith with those glasses and the backwards baseball cap.
Awesome episode. I personally am seeing a lot of similarities between this and the Inhumans. Yes, the Inhumans were an experiment by the Kree to create a soldier forces for their war, but still.
Incredible and a great story tie end when u understand everything
Thank you for telling me about the eternals
Do the origin story of white wolf(black panther's brother)
who's here after watching the eternals trailer
Yup
Origins of the legion of superhero’s once it comes out plz, great vid as always
Jack Kirby who created the Eternals probably read Chariots of the Gods by Eric Von Daniken, the fellow who came up with ancient astronaut theory. The popular show Ancient Aliens on the history channel is based on this. The Celestials represent the extraterrestrials who came to Earth in the distant past and helped us evolve.
I can confirm, Kirby wrote an introduction to the Eternals where he said he was influenced by Chariots of the Gods.
LOVED neil gaiman's Eternals comic....kinda hope thats what the movie will be based on
actually Kevin Feige said they'll adapt Kirby's run
C-MC Official haha good to know, cheers....that's a bummer (for me)
Where do mutants, morlocks, and inhumans fit into the whole deviants/humans/eternals breakdown?
The Celestials placed some x-gene in some of those humans... That's where the mutants come from. The Kree, after seeing that the Celestials made a genetic change on the beings on earth, toke some humans and made some genetic changes on them and the inhumans were born. And the humans have a gene that allows them to survive a genetic change (like Spider man, Hulk) and not die, and that's where the atlantians come from too.
The Morlocks are just a specific group of mutants who live in the sewers under New York City. Most of them are deformed and can't pass as human (similar to Beast or Nightcrawler), but they're not a separate "race".
@@matheuslanerre2895 the Inhumans it more like genetic engineering, if you watch the Star Trek, the Khan storyline that humans scientists try created the perfect human. Well the Kree create the perfect soilders with Aliens's DNA to fight in their wars for them.
@Giovanni Balbosa-Mc Intosh Yes they did.

Eternals is one of my favorite Jack Kirby series. I think it makes a really good companion to his New Gods series. He also explores some similar themes in his 2001: A Space Odyssey series.
