The latest Eternals series refers to the Eternals as cosmic angels and the Deviants as cosmic demons as the Celestials are considered the God's to both races.

Deviants seem to be chaotic in terms of power and abilities and since Thanos is a deviant hybrid maybe the MCU version doesnt have heightened healing? He could take an axe hit to the chest, though

Fun fact: the terms eternals and deviants doesn’t just apply to the ones from earth, but all other races, the biggest examples are the deviant skrulls aka the ones we are familiar with and the eternal Kree aka the ones we are also familiar with.

That totally means that Ikaris will come back bcz no matter what eternals storyline it is Ikaris is a major part of it. I really hope he comes sooner and be the hero he is in the comics

Been looking forward to this video for a VERY long time. I had literally NEVER heard of the Eternals before the film trailer came out, so I had absolutely ZERO idea who they were.

Some people weren't going to receive it and some have. The film clicked for me after Sersi and Arishem and it made way more sense and after that and the final battle I knew I loved the movie.
People having different opinions from you is fine.
It's pretty much a entirely different movie that can't be compared to Captain Marvel apart from both films having characters with powers.
The films are like night and day.

Just finished watching it on cinema. It is an MCU movie, trying to be an MCU movie. It has dept but not explored. It is replace by jokes and actions.
Is the Eternals movie worth watching and how was your experience in watching the movie in the cinemas?
@@quentinfogger5755 it is hard for me to be objective since my country just lifted travel/movie going restrictions. So for me any new movie on the cinema is a Godsend. It is not bad if that helps.
@@quentinfogger5755 I'd say watch it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and how it subverted expectations (at least mine.) I also loved the characters and their personalities. All written differently and are unique. Alongside that, if you love marvel cosmology, you'll love the stepping stones laid out in this movie. But in saying that, this movie is one made to lay out the foundations for further exploration

Great primer for getting ready for the movie. But I would love to know more about their giant triangular shaped ship/base. It looks pretty epic. Also, previews have already mentioned a comparison between Ikaris and Superman. Was he designed on purpose to be like Superman in the Marvel Universe, especially with his eye beams?
There's millions of Superman copies in the Marvel Universe, with Ikaris, Hyperion and Sentry being at the forefront of my head. Hyperion specially, since the Squadron Supreme was created with the purpose of being Marvel's Justice League
I cannot wait for this movie.
Why? Searching Eternals on Any search engine gives no hype. It's just pages of websites regurgitating the Gay kiss scene.

The Eternals doesnt look apealing based off the countless trailers and teasers Marvel posts on youtube but Variant always has me hyped based off the original source.
Shang Chi was dope...lets hope this one is too.

It was a nice movie. Not a "Oh my God. Wow!" type of movie, but a Okay movie. Didnt feel like a MCU movie for the most part( which is kinda good).

Loved the movie!! I see why people said it was slow (ironic since it spans thousands of years haha) but it was very interesting and absolutely nuts! The implications this has on MCU canon is huge, like almost bigger than Doctor Strange confirming wizards are real huge.
Also, not a criticism since he looks cool, but God looks like a huge bionicle lmao
Edit: the hate was super overblown, especially people saying the VFX are bad? Huh? If you didn't like the movie that's fine, subjective tastes, but the effects were gorgeous! Organic magic is sick as hell

With each Eternal having their own power like Makkari has hyper speed and Gilgamesh has super strength, which eternal has the best powers and abilities?
I think its Ikaris. He has one of everything.. He's not the best at each ability but is second best and he has lots of skills like the laser eye, flying, strength, speed etc.. but not sure tho.
There's 100 eternals from Earth. There are also other Eternals that are made in other planets.

Sersi matter-manipulation.
Her powers work on other eternals even works on Thor.
All eternals can fly and shoot energy including Sersi.

We got the older comic book at our library they been out before I was born
I remember the Eternals as being the race that lived on Saturn’s moon of Titan as humans do Earth, and that simply put, the deviants were Eternals with birth defects, example being Thanos. Them working for The Celestials I don’t think has ever changed, though
This is better then how they changed it up in the movie. The movie is awesome imo but this is definitely a cooler and better story.

Can you power scale the marvel eternals vs other marvel characters. After watching the movie I found there abilities and durability very lackluster.
After watching it twice, it’s my favorite MCU movie. So incredibly human and beautiful. Loved it

'The Eternals' really should have been a Disney+ series. They could have fleshed it out better.
That honestly makes so much more sense because at the end of it, I had MORE questions about what was going to happen next. Even at almost 3hrs, it felt like they crammed in so much and didn’t fully flesh out the “story”

I'm just blown away at the fact they flat out called Ikarus superman !!! Like whaaaaaa
Saw it with my gf at Dolby cinema. The whole theatre was lit up. It was badass for me. Action was great, the visuals were gorgeous, comedy had me chuckling unexpectedly, and I loved the part where some eternals were going through actual character development where they deal with their core beliefs, something rarely seen in MCU. This felt like watching anime and that fact that they had these characters question their own beliefs and grow more than who they were is worth alot to me.

The book of Enoch doesn’t at fail to mention, fallen angels that shared forbidden knowledge with man kind, who they worshipped as gods and were punished for the secrets they unveiled unto us.

What is up with Eternals like Ajax, Makkari and Sprite being females in the MCU instead of being males just like their comic book counterparts? Also why is Kingo an indian in the MCU unlike his comic book counterpart who was a Japanese Samurai?
