Namor is one of the very first Marvel characters who doesn't have alot of his own series & who only shows up in Black Panther & Fantastic Four comics. He's literally never around whenever there's a huge event going on. The fate of the world or universe is at stake & he couldn't be bothered lol. Marvel needs to do more with him much much more.
The Sub-Mariner did seem to make many "cameo"/cross-over appearances in the Marvel comic book universe, and Namor did seem to have a distant co-existence relationship with the other Marvel characters. Perhaps because of his mistrust in humans for using the oceans (his realm) as a toxic waste dump. An analogy might be the difference on how Native Americans and early European settlers viewed nature.

You left out a few Namor factoids there. First, he has a healing ability which is triggered by being in the water. Namor can go toe to toe with anybody so long as he can get to water in order to heal. All Atlanteans have this ability, but Namor's ability is 'Wolverine-level' because he is a mutant hybrid. Second, Namor's mixed heritage makes him go insane if he spends too much time in one element. If he's out of the water or in the water for too long, he loses it. That's the main reason he switches from hero to villain so often.
Thank you, I never knew that and that explains alot of the movie for me now thank you so much. Question is him being out of the water for too long a reason why he went crazy in invaders?

Aquaman because he’s been able to push oceanic plates and has the Trident of Poseidon which allows him to control all sea life including the Trench. Namor can keep up with him in strength but more times then not Aquaman has to fight some OP characters; Hercules, Superman, Wonder Woman, Darkseid and even his trident stabbed him in the eye. He has more times in comics showing off his raw strength. But what makes him win the fight is his powers aren’t just on earth he can be on other planets and be able to do the same thing.

In an alternate universe, Namor was cast by Keanu Reeves and pronounced Naymore. Disney version pronounce Nah-mur. His friends call him Nacho, his Boys call him the Deep, and his Mommy call him Bruno.
Summary of movie - It's about grief, vengeance, girl power and race. Plot: 1. Beware whitey 2. Kill the land dwellers but especially the colonizing blue eyed devils. 3. These girls are more smart, tough and skilled than anyone on the planet. 4. Well, we're both awesome and we disagree on whether we should kill vs beware resource greedy whitey. 5. Brown is better than Black, no wait Black is better than Brown but both are definitely better than White. 6. We need vengeance & war between us and then the victor gets to decide whether we continue to beware whitey vs kill the whitey colonizers. 6. Black & Brown have an uneasy alliance for peace but someday we'll team up to get whitey together. 7. Tip of the hat to the LGBTQ community 8. T'Challa lives - sort of. PS - Why were there no Asians or Indians in this movie. I mean ZERO. They're a giant portion of the world population and not a single character? Race was a MAJOR theme in this but it's as if they were left out deliberately - why?

Namor had a good original story but I feel like he was too powerful for them if he wanted he could easily brake their necks or something lol but he admired wakanda cause they were outsiders like him also they made it look like he had feelings for shuri
Namor is both Atlantean and Mutant. He was born and raised in Atlantis, but a human-Atlantean hybrid born with genetic mutations that made him far beyond the regular human or Atlantean. His oxygen imbalance issues are one of his major weaknesses that crop up in the comics from time to time.

Selene is the first mutant
Every time that I see Namor I see Spock and every time I see Spock, I see Namor.
GOAT
Any explanation for why he head is flat or why his eyebrows are roller coasters?
Namor vs Aquaman?
Hey, don't forget that Namor was also fighting the war as a member of the INVADERS, with Captain America and the android Human Torch.
Yes, he was the powerhouse of the team for sure.
Have y’all read Isom #1? Would love to see what y’all think
I read it. It was good but I didn’t love it. I know Eric had to introduce a whole new universe in 1 book so I’ll definitely check out the next book. What about you?
Great refresher before BPWF! Can't wait!
Please do the History of Bumblebee (DC Comics)
Hold on. I remember watching the cartoon series back in the 60's . When Namor clashed with the army he got shot. How did he become bulllet proof?
In an alternate universe, Namor was cast by Keanu Reeves and pronounced Naymore. Disney version pronounce Nah-mur. His friends call him Nacho, his Boys call him the Deep, and his Mommy call him Bruno.
Totally hate the pronunciation too.
Wasn't Namors father's name Leonard McKenzie?
Yes His father was a Sea Captain from Boston who had ancestors from Scotland
Great job sir
When are you going to do history of Marvel's Sandman and Kurt Conners the Lizard since they made a live action comeback in Spider-Man No Way Home along with the Elementals who were mentioned in Spider-Man Far From Home?
Loved how he liked water and looks like Milos from Atlantis the lost empire💕
Whatever that is Disney is trying to pawn off isn’t Namor. I said what I said.
History of Man-Thing please!!!
Namor had a good original story but I feel like he was too powerful for them if he wanted he could easily brake their necks or something lol but he admired wakanda cause they were outsiders like him also they made it look like he had feelings for shuri
I'm just remembering saying "I ship it" while watching them together. He's waaaay too old for her though
He’s sooo underated
My favorite character.
Mine too. I got into Namor heavily from his early 90s series. It was so good.
I thought namor was an alanteen not a mutant
Namor is both Atlantean and Mutant. He was born and raised in Atlantis, but a human-Atlantean hybrid born with genetic mutations that made him far beyond the regular human or Atlantean. His oxygen imbalance issues are one of his major weaknesses that crop up in the comics from time to time.
Can you do history of the villains of the Stargirl TV show like Mr_Bones, Dragon king, Brainwave and Icicle? When are you going to do history of the Flash Villains Mirror Master and Top since the second half of season 6 of the Flash has finished?
Can you do history of the Atom, Major_Force, Captain Atom, Plastique, the Blackhawks, Rocket Red Brigade, Blue_Beetle, Mr Terrific and Plastic Man along with the history of the Villains Dr Alchemy and Abracadabra?
MCU Namor,marvels ultimate wet back
Since you did the origin of Sonic the Hedgehog characters Tails and Knuckles in your previous video, when are you going to do history of Sonic the Hedgehog himself?
Since you did the history of Miss Marvel Kamala Khan, Can you please do origin of the Nega Bands in your next video since that's going to be the source of Miss Marvel getting her powers in the MCU?
