Best part. I literally cried laughing in the theater. Peacekeeper: "I've got a clear shot on the only one in the building." Shows a housekeeper with virtually no threat xD John Cena found his character.

Peacemaker served as the template for the Comedian in Alan Moore's Watchmen

That's because Moore wanted to use the Charlton characters for Watchmen, but DC wussed out and wouldn't let him. That's why Rorschach is basically the question.

I really like how the movie was 100% accurate with making his costume look like the original comic,like some could call it silly I’d say its distinct and bold if you ask me
Gunn kept some comic accurate and made some more realistic. Like Javelin's outfit, meanwhile Blackguard. Or Peacemaker, meanwhile Bloodsport
for me peacemaker seems more like someone from a bad low budget in the early 2000s

It's accurate because it's silly. They didn't have to change anything to make it comical.
Essentially he is what would happened if DC made a character with the Patriotism of Captain America with the gore, extremist nature and skills of the Punisher.

Obviously John would wear the helmet everytime he goes to promote the movie. Without a helmet, we wouldn't know where his invisible face is.
Sorry to say this but a building falls on top of the helmet after he leaves it behind just before he gets shot in the throat by bloodsport and then it's discovered that he survived and which will probably continue his story on the peacemaker series.

When Amanda Waller introduced Peace Maker to Bloodsport I started laughing because of their similar background and how Bloodsport brought it up thinking Waller was insulting(Making fun) him.

I first found out about Peacemaker when The Comedian from Watchmen is based off of him. Good thing I discovered more details before John Cena was casted as him in The Suicide Squad. When John Cena called him a douchey Captain America, I knew where this was going especially when I read the comic and watched the movie of Watchmen. I’m also excited for the HBO MAX show.

It is insane how much his origin was changed from the comics, and how much better it is in the show! James Gunn really did the character justice.
I actually find the live action suit as very cool and not something that will make you feel cringe when you wear it on public. I really dig the design, I could wear that everyday even if people laugh.
I don't think Peacemaker is a normal human being. In the opening scene of the Peacemaker HBO Max series, the doctor said that he was shot in the neck and the whole building collapsed on him but he still managed to stay alive. So, he does have Superhuman strength and durability.
He by accounts is a mountain of a human. And bloodsports bullet is so small it probably missed the jugular. Building collapse is probably the easiest as the ocean was right there

I admit I know nothing about Peacemaker but he sounds like a good character to cross paths with Marvel's Punisher. I think it would be very interesting
Punisher would probably hate the most famous incarnation of Peacemaker
When you think about it, Peacemaker might be DC's answer to Marvel's US Agent and possibly James Gunn's middle finger to Disney and Marvel Studios
He's directing the next guardians of the Galaxy movie

I hope that PeaceMaker gets an actual series from all of this maybe on HBO.PeaceMaker having an animated series would be cool like how Spawn was where PeaceMaker is completely insane and has almost an impossible agenda “World Peace”.

I love the idea of a deranged war criminal of a superhero. Hoping this character gets more love and that that aspect of the character stays intact.
love the way that DC and Marvel have built up smaller characters to fan favourites. Guardians of The Galaxy, Peacemaker, Shang-Chi (Kind of) it gives the universes a whole bunch of more depth.
My first experience with peacemaker was in the 2006 blue beetle series where he was like a mentor to Jaime and I really liked that

I’m not even sure if this will make any sense but i m writing this on an iPad hooked up to a Presonus Revelator io24 with an SM58 on channel 1 and my B.C Rick Warlock on channel 2 with Bias fx2 running in the background while i watch this and it surprisingly sounds great with hardly any latency. I’ve finished tracking drums in the studio and now am tracking guitar, bass, vocals, keyboards, percussion and brass and everything sounds AMAZEBALLS!!! Can’t wait to start mixing! Hit me up if you wanna hear the finished song!!
