Captain America: You're even a better fighter than me
Just downloaded issue 2 to my ipad. I'll read it later today.
Hey Arris, what about his duplication power? Its more recent of course and a lot of people don't seem to like it. What do you think?
It's stupid and absolutely does NOT suit the character. Any more than being made into an undead Frankenstein monster clone suited the Punisher.
@@bronstet Frankencastle... _Sigh_ I don't know what was a worse storyline? That, the Avenging Angel Punisher or when they made him black??
Just watched the movie a few hours ago. Loved it. Awesome addition to the MCU.
OT: What happened to Arris’ face? I’ve been trying to find a video addressing it. Just glad he’s okay
He got hit while at bar in Atlanta
@@Yorrub Ahhh. Okay. Thanks for the info
Going to watch it in the theatre today, great video 👌
You good Arris? You looking thinner and some patches are noticeable
Whoaaaaaa what a story of Shang-Chi 🔥🔥🔥 awesome video 👏👏👏
And it is nice of you to remember that A comic book movie is releasing. Come on guys you promised that you will Do origin whenever a big CBM comes around. BTW love your videos.
Variant Comics here to save the day!!!!
The master in hand-to-hand combat, shang chi is by far the most dangerous weapon in marvel comics.
perfect timing! Just saw it in the cinema. Great movie!
What would happen if Shang-Chi fought against someone like Black Widow, Iron_Fist, Daredevil and Electra?
He would win against them
Best hand to hand fighter and you listed characters who are not the best hand to hand fighters. I think we don't need an answer to this
He can winn all of them except iron fist
Well they was fighting each other once time but that is before iron fist comeback to kunlun to get more chi
If they fight again shang-chi could lose because iron fist have more chi than him
In Marvel comics he has fought each of them at least once. The only one of those characters that held their own against him was Iron Fist. Everyone else lost.
Keep up the great work on your channel 👍 keep hustling
Is the MCU version of Shang-Chi better than the one from the Comics? Is he the Marvel version of DC Karate Kid, Lady_Shiva and Richard_Dragon?
Richard Dragon is probably the best analog for Shang at DC.
IMHO NO!!
Not better than karate kid since this 31st century guy known every martial art in entire universe
He is the Marvel version of Bruce Lee.
So weird I was in the middle watching comics explained version of shang chi video and than boom notification from you I click
Rob Corps!
@@80wolfmanrob he's my favorite
@@domlongjohnson I just sent a guy here in the comments to Rob's channel. He likes the old X-Men told him Rob is the expert on them.
Is Astonishing Times gonna be printed? If so is there any idea when it will be released?
I hope so 🤞🏽
I've literally never heard of this gut till his movie was announced.
Shang-Chi was a strange choice of a movie to bring back one of Hulk’s greatest villains, but hey! I’m not complaining lol 😂
The Abomination?
@@sacredsapphire is that true? Where did you guys hear this?
@@wildshark9248in the trailer!
@@sacredsapphire ah jeez I gotta see it now
@@wildshark9248 bruh
legit came out on my birth day. thank you marvel!!!!
And when will you do elders of marvel universe. It is a request bit it sounds like a threat 😜😜😜.
Great timing, Just saw this Amazing Movie :)
I get the reverence for 70’s nomenclature and “karate” chop….. but the show it’s based on was literally called Kung fu. Why can’t we make Kung fu chop a thing? Pretty sure this will also come off a little racist, but at least more accurate
How would that even be racist? It's just a martial arts move
@@jellymatsuryuka6853 what sensei or sifu has ever taught a move called the karate or Gung fu chop? They use phrases like that because they decided learning the word in a different language was too hard. We learned to pronounce Saoirse Ronan but we can't google, is the karate chop a real move? Cmon. I'm nostalgic for it too, but I try not to be apathetic to others cultures
@@lopakaholmberg Dude the reason we can't name something like that doesn't have anything to do with race, the only reason is that the move was invented somewhere saying chop wasn't even a thing, that's why
@@jellymatsuryuka6853 That's the point, nobody asked, they just made a white washed term that was easy to yell in a cartoon. And again, karate is japanese and gung-fu is chinese.....so calling a move from a gung-fu movie is still inherently a little short sighted.
Shuto tsuki
Karate is japanese. Kung Fu is Chinese.
Bout damn time!
Shang chi is basically iron fist but a little better at fighting and not as powerful.
not as powerful? read his story where he confronts iron fist
@@kedarpadgur7657 In terms of their abilities or "super powers". Shang chi simply isnt a superhuman. He is the superior martial artist but he couldn't keep up with villains that are unaffected by punches and kicks.
@@polverizer2134 he is kind of super human actually.. not just a martial artist. He has defeated all the fighters including black panther.
Look at heroes such as Luke cage due to his durable skin shang chi would in no way affect him but, iron fist could easily put a dent in him
@@polverizer2134 yeah but this is mystical Martial arts ( comic) is not just fighting, it can hurt super humans too. Iron fist could not defeat Shang chi. I am referring from the comics. they have not fought many times just 1 time that I am referring to.
Awesome 👏
Congratulations
We did it
Was it awesome to see Shang-Chi with the Power of the magical Ten Rings belonging to the real Mandarin?
Thanks for the cool origin story, I didn't know anything about Shang-Chi.
When did he become Shong Chi? Even his co-creators called him Shang Chi.
Thank you! Idk why everyone is saying Shong!
Apparently that's how you pronounce it
It seems to be an "ah" sound from the interviews I've seen with Simu Liu. Not necessarily a hard O or A sound. 🤔
It is Shang chi, what are talking about?
@@robang3473 did you watch the video?
Good Lesson For Opening Week
Narrative of Self is the result of a feedback loop between “Separate Self” & Cosmos🎈
"Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform in to the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not." - Master Yoda
Shang-Chi vs Lady Shiva
In Brothers and Sisters, Shang-Chi is shown to be raised with Hammer, who’s real name is Shi-Hua. The other Deadly Weapons house siblings are the ones he doesn’t know for sure, like Brother Saber who’s real name is Takeshi from Japan and Sister Dagger who’s real name is Esme from Paris. It’s really good and it’s only 6 issues long.
@ArtBuffalo no. In the Shang-Chi comic series, it’s Sister Hammer of the house of Deadly Hammer
Why are you doing history of Shang-Chi since you already did that 2 years ago? Can you please do history of the Mandarin, Fin Fang Foom, Razor Fist and Death Dealer?
They did origin of Shang-Chi, not history.
And before you ask, their Origin videos are exclusively going over the in comic origin of the character, but History of videos cover Origin, Story Arcs, Powers and what not
If I'm not mistaken they plan on going through all the different characters from Shang Chi
Watching the movie tomorrow. Can't wait.
