Apocalypse should've been handled like Thanos when Fox had the rights, along with Nathaniel Essex aka Mister Sinister, who he takes under his wing to further the mutant agenda, thereby fulfilling the future prophecy of eventually becoming absolute ruler of a post Apocalyptic earth.
I completely agree. Apocolypse is by far the most powerful character in the X-Men universe. Although Apocalypse is a "mutant," he was the first "mutant," and then combined his "mutant" abilities with Celestial technology - which put him in an absolute league of his own. Apocalypse then became more powerful than the Celestials. A Celestisial is a Celestial, but Apocalypse is a Celestial plus all of his "mutant" abilities. Apocalypse has the ability to permanently acquire the mutant powers of any other mutant or combination of mutants, too.
The X-Men program in the 90s had his voice PERFECT along with his personality. I wish the movie X-Men Apocalypse would have been handled the way the Avengers handled Infinity and Endgame. Instead, the Celestial technology of Apocalypse was completely ignored, and they made it seem like Apocalypse having the ability to increase his size was something that only happened in the mind of Charles Xavier.
I also wish the X-Men Apocalypse movie would have made it so Apocalypse was handled with CGI in the same way Collosus is in Deadpool.
Stop and think how awesome it would have been if Apocalypse had been done with CGI and had the amazing voice he had in the 90s X-Men series. There could have been a scene where Apocalypse was HUGE like Ant-Man, too!
I thought X-Men Apocalypse was a good movie, but I just felt it could have been "better."
For those who havent seen X-men Apocalypse,the Quicksilver scene is the best part of the movie
Weapon X escape scene for me.
The scene when Apocalypse has Professor X tap into hundreds of human military soldiers and makes them launch every single nuclear missile under their control into space... /still sends shivers down my back
Also the scenes with Magneto and Charles :(

Here’s what I hope:
1.The first Marvel Saga ended, now begins the second Saga and its gonna be about the New Avengers, F4 and introduction of X-Men first gen, their ultimate Thanos Level villain will be Galactus.
2. The Third Saga will be all about X-Men and their end game villain will be Apocalypse
Dammit they screwed up Apocalypse. . he was my fave since the 80's they screwed his look, voice, and didnt fully show him as the true power he is.. they cannot defeat him, yet they did, although we all know he isnt dead.

I loved sinister growing up. he was the only villain action figure that I had so he was the ultimate bad dude to me, always beating down my giant golden wolverine and little storm and Cyclops until my asshole dog turned into the real villian and devoured them all. I think I still have a half chewed wolverine at my parents house hiding in some tote or some shit with a thousand Pokemon cards and pogs lol
I loved the Age of Apocalypse series, it was an AWESOME reead, a must read for any X-Men fan

Last I checked, hes about 5,000 yrs old and was 1st with the X gene... but some argue that Selene is the 1st Mutant because she was a vampire at 8,000+yrs old

Apocalypse is roughly 5k yrs old +/- a few 100 yrs. But was originally thought to be the first Mutant, but now is in speculation with the appearance of both Selene and Romulus, to whom Selene is between 7k-8k years old and Romulus is 6k-8k yrs old and has been hinted as the actual child of the she-wolf of Roman Mythology and possibly the father of both Logan & Sabertooth (and the progenitor of the Lycan-like or Lycanthrope mutation), thus making Logan (and Sabertooth) fffaaarrr older than he even had assumed himself to be.
Also...there were Pharaohs 1000yrs ago. King Memphis of Egypt who United both the houses of upper and Lower Egypt was given the first title and crowning of "Pharaoh" (meaning "great house" or "vessel of the gods/Ra/Horus") United and took the throne over 4,000yrs ago.....

You can update to add Apocalypse's history with Krakoa, his wife Genesis, and his first Horsemen.
They should make a move out of the episode of x men the animated series where Apocalypse kidnapped all the psychics and telepaths to take over time itself. That would be amazing to see.

Too bad in the movie he wasn't handled well, the character should've been CG.
And *spoiler* that growing moment is just in a psychic fight.
yup, they showed about 3 of his supposed powers which just made him look way weaker than he actually is
+Bobomb he still seemed op to me. controlling nerds, teleportation, buffing mutants, turning shit to sand whenever he wants, having reflexes good enough to stop quicksilver, controlling all manor of shit. seems pretty legit to me.
+Elite Salad oh and basically unstoppable force field, oh and can shield people's minds as well as his own from the strongest psychic on earth

Just came back from the film. As a guy who isnt super heavy into comic books, even i really enjoyed it. Took my comic loving friend to go see it,he was very happy.

But what Abyss? He was considered the youngest horsemen to be recruited by Apocalypse, and is even Nightcrawler's half-brother, technically. Man, I was so pumped you would mention him. Nobody does, so someone else acknowledging his existence deep within the X-Men comics would've absolutely amazing.
