Ever since the end of Thanos in the MCU. My friends and I have been saying if only MCU had the rights to X-Men, imagine if the next big bad was Onslaught. MCU would then pool everything they've created and X-Men together along with a rebooted Fantastic 4.
They could most likely reveal Onslaught in small to significant ways throughout season two. There's a good likelihood that if the pacing and 10 episode limit carries over to next season that the entirety of the Apocalypse plot will be in 3-5 episodes _tops_ with other story elements and plot being shown in between the more Apocalypse centric episodes. For example, I wouldn't be too surprised if they show Vulcan still in Shi'ar space remembering who he is, Cable meeting more of and teasing what will eventually become X-Force, the formation of Bishop and Forge's team(possibly interacting with Juggernaut) as well as those characters in action. Possibly even showing Marrow if she survived Genosha. The chances are greater for most or all of the aforementioned happening if there are either more or longer episodes to work with. Even if it's just 2-5 more than this season.
You read my mind, season 2 will be dominated by Apocalypse as the concluded season was littered with Bastion. I do believe onslaught will be teased again at the end of season 2@ daragonsoul128
Amd to add to that. They should have other animated cartoons come in, and they can get Fantastic Four, the avengers, and spider-man to help take out Onslaught
@@jarodorla6949Yeah, the best course of action is to save Onslaught for Season 3 that way when we get to the final climax of his storyline, we can get a Onslaught VS MAVREL universe showdown pitting Onslaught VS X-Men, Spider-Man, Dr. Doom, Fantastic Four & The Avengers
Feral Wolverine is not his default state it is a secondary mutation caused by massive trauma. He was not Feral for the first 100 years without Adamantium. He was in a 50 year on/off relationship with Mystique in the late 1800s to early 1900s and he wasn't Feral.
At the time of the telling of the story, it was explained by a character to be case that the adamantium prevented his further mutation. Like most things that fans wouldn't necessarily get behind, I'm pretty glad they haven't referred to it again but the words were said. As for the Mystique stuff, Wolverine was born in the 1880s so all of that was post 1907. Granted, his past was established relatively more recently than other stories that would seem like he's even older, but he's [now] not that old. Technically, we can't say that just because he lasted 70+ years without devolving to that feral appearance before getting adamantium that he never would have. The trauma could have accelerated something that would have happened over 200 more years for all we know. I'm with you though that they've ignored that since, and treated it more like the trauma caused it (or more accurately, they don't talk about that time all).

X-Men, Spider-Man, and a handful of others survived in their real world. Avengers and Fantastic Four were the ones who sacrificed themselves and came back. I saw it all; one of the defining moments of my personal 1996.
As someone who has been an X-Men fan since long before the Onslaught story began, I look forward to watching the cartoon tackle the subject. I never watched the X-Men cartoon during it's initial run, because I resented the stories getting "Nerfed" for a younger audience. This series of X-Men should not have Onslaught after Prof X allowed Magnus to find that peace he was denying himself by being held back by anger at his past. With no anger or reason to shut down Magnus, there is no reason for Onslaught We also see this in the fact that there has been no info from Cables timeline about Onslaught and the fact that only Apocalypse remains throughout all the times we have seen
Yeah that finale made me think, is this how they’re going to introduce onslaught? It’s creation has always confused me no matter how many times I read it.
I am curious on how marvel is going to adapt onslaught into x-men animated series because in all honestly the original stories wasn’t really good but so disappointing in my opinion.
What do you think is the best thing about Onslaught in the Comics compared to the other versions of Professor X? Which one of his powers and abilities is the best? What would have happened if he appeared in Fox's X-Men movies? Do you think he should appear in the MCU and that too as a main villain of an Avengers and X-Men team up movie?
We probably won't see Onslaught until season 3 or a small tease at the end of season 2. Just like they did with Apocalypse at the end of season 1 having him being the big bad villain in season 2. Since they already started season 2 before season 1 ended. It seems season 2 will happen in 2025 the question is when? Will it be in early 2025 or late 2025? Waiting for x-men 97 season 2 is going to be brutal. Expectally seeing that post credit scene.
Onslaught leading to all major non-mutant heroes (avengers and FF) sacrificing themselves, like in the comics, and thus setting up their brand new series from the ground up with origins for all. Then ALL the 90s cartoons will be back!
Yes, I also thought that Onslaught would make a cameo or full apperance in the finale, bu is reserved for later seasons. Basically, he is th Anti Monotor of the Marvel Universe. And am very happy that us fans thory were correct about Gambio's reseruction as Apocalypse's horseman of death. After all human heroes sacrifice themselves is when apocalypse shows himself that why only the X-men where there to try to stop him, so really really makes no difference how they roll it, one will weaken them the other will finish them. These is literally the end of X-men main universe after all.
It’s Onslaught and not even close. He possesses the powers of both Magneto and Xavier, absorbed Nate Grey psionic powers and Franklin Richards reality warping powers.
Do you think we could have seen Onslaught make his live action debut in X-men Days of Future Past since James McAvoy Charles Xavier was in a depressed state? Did he prevent the creation of Onslaught by getting Hank McCoy's Beast to make a temporary antidote for his powers and when he told Magneto "I'm never going inside that head ever again"?
Magneto should be able to control most people with his powers. The iron in the blood. Thats how he kept his own blood circulating during the Judgement Day event when his heart was ripped out.

While i do/did believe that they were setting up for Onslaught. I had no doubt that he [wouldn't] be a villain or show up in Season 2 (other than maybe a "shadow"), as there is a lot of set up to him making a presence. I would instead imagine that they would use season 1 to set up apocalypse and use an "Ages of Apocalypse" based story line to set up an "Age of Apocalypse" type finale. But there would be a theme with Xavier slowly losing his will to Onslaught, and making more and more "Magneto like" questionable moves. With the post credit scene being that (like in the comics) Juggernaut would be tossed half way across the world in to the X-mansion saying "Onslaught is coming..." or something akin to that.
What do you think Onslaught should look like instead of looking like he's Magneto? What do you think he would be like if he got in his own body? Who would win between Onslaught VS Franklin Richards, Hope Summers and Rachel Summers? Can you do history of Franklin Richards, Hope Summers and Rachel Summers?
Can you do history of the villains of the Stargirl TV show like Mr_Bones, Dragon king, Brainwave and Icicle? When are you going to do history of the Flash Villains Mirror Master and Top since the second half of season 6 of the Flash has finished? Can you do history of the Atom, Major_Force, Captain Atom, Plastique, the Blackhawks, Rocket Red Brigade, Maxima, El-Dorado, Element Woman, Metamorpho, Mr Terrific and Plastic Man along with the history of the Villains Dr Alchemy and Abracadabra?
What type of villain is Onslaught compared to other X-Men villains like Master Mold, Apocalypse and Nimrod? What do you think he would be like if he appeared in the MCU, Would he appear in an Avengers and X-Men team up movie? Can you do history of Master Mold and Nimrod?
Who is the vessel for onslaught? Is it magneto’s body or how does that work? If it’s a mental fusion of the two that makes a new entity but that entity isn’t either character’s body, I don’t get how that works.
Xavier was the initial vessel. When it's power increased with the capture of X-Man and Franklin Richards. Onslaught no longer needed a vessel at all. Basically a psionic parasite, like Shadow King.
So do you think they'll introduce Nate Grey in season 2 because it seems they're going full on age of apocalypse and do you think Onslaught be the main villain for season 3.
Since you did the origin of Sonic the Hedgehog characters Tails and Knuckles in your previous video, when are you going to do history of Sonic the Hedgehog himself? When are you going to do history of JSA member Cyclone along with DC Sabbac since he's the main Villain of the Black_Adam movie?
Why would they fight? Apocalypse literally sat out the Onslaught Saga. Watching it play out with Uatu. He made one play to kill Franklin Richards (who doesn't exist in the TAS universe) and did nothing more after that.
When are you going to do history of Marvel's Sandman and Kurt Conners the Lizard since they made a live action comeback in Spider-Man No Way Home along with the Elementals who were mentioned in Spider-Man Far From Home?

You would think with what such a powerful being what hope would any of the heroes have to stop onslaught. 😮😮😮
I honestly wanted the onslaught to be in the back ground of season 2 - 3 , and be the main antagonist of season 4
Now we need the hulk and Franklin Richard’s to do their thing. Oh Ryu was there (if you know, you know.)
Magnus is so OP, I love it
What would be so cool is if they bring back the other series (Spiderman TAS, Fantastic four etc) and the onslaught saga takes place over all.....
What type of villain is Onslaught compared to other X-Men villains like Master Mold, Apocalypse and Nimrod? What do you think he would be like if he appeared in the MCU, Would he appear in an Avengers and X-Men team up movie? Can you do history of Master Mold and Nimrod?
Logistics for a team up movie would be complicated, but if they could pull off a live action team up, I’m all for it.
There literally so many op characters within the marvel universe it's insane
Win 🤩
Behold my name and fear it. I am Onslaught
I thought for sure after the end of episode 9 that onslaught was gonna show up in episode 10 to setup season 2.
Bring back the alternate versions of please!!! I need me more multiverse madness
Apocalypse versus Onslaught in season 2? I say, bring it!
