What I find amazing about his character is he has such a tragic backstory, but his actions as a villain are inexcusable. Kidnapping babies, kids, and innocent people, then subjecting them to horrid experiments against their will, its hard to sympathize with him after all the horrors he's committed. Its such a good way of writing because on one hand he's a victim of tragedy but at the same time his actions are beyond evil, so its hard to choose between hating him or sympathizing with him

My favorite RPG character I ever made was for Vampire: The Requiem. I thought I had such a cool original idea. He was a 19th century British nationalist who got turned after a shipwreck on an island in the south Pacific and got turned by a vampire islander. He was obsessed with manipulating vampirism to eliminate vampire weaknesses and exemplify the strengths. After setting it down and looking at it for a minute, I realized that I had basically made vampire Mr Sinister.
He has a very sad story I can relate to him though in losing his second child by being still born I lost my little boy the same way last year he was 10Ibs and 9oz he was beautiful I'm not gonna lie to y'all as I'm writing this in tears I can understand where Mr. Sinister is coming from the pain is unbearable

They all kind of did have their own origin story. Apocalypse has his from nobody to nightmare origin which involves the Avenger villain Kang’s failed attempt at trying to contain him for his conquest purpose. The Juggernaut has his whole Cain & Abel origin with Charles that explores how his resentment towards his brother made him into the unstoppable brute that he is. Emma Frost has an interesting backstory which explains how she became the cold ruthless key member of the Hellfire Club from the abusively strict upbringing of her father. And lets not forget Magneto.
I play Marvel Contest of Champions as Aires Warchild and recently just got him in the game..I love Mr.Sinister and I too had the ToyBiz Mr.Sinsiter action figure (still in the box to this day) and i find his character one of the greatest villians ever...and the fact that he's always been connected to my all-time favorite villian Apocalypse...made me love him more

Ahh, you let me down bro, you nailed his origin almost perfectly, but you completely missed or over looked the fact that Gambit traveled to the past to with his friend that could control his own matter which gambit had to use as part of a deal he needed to make with Nathaniel after the doc broke bad, so gambit has a huge part in helping mr sinister's sustain long life, and form him body to his control, and that's just the tip of the iceberg on gambit and sinister

They say Essex lives in the shadow of Apocalypse but when it really comes down to it, Mr. Sinister is the Arch Enemy of the X-Men series more so that even Magneto.

The Executioner's Song is one of the greatest Marvel crossover series and should be made into a series of movies.

Been a fan of Sinister since I first read Sinister Schemes back in late 80's shortly before "Inferno" storyline.
It'll be cool though if they give every x-men villian they own origin story..an 18th century period story for Mr. SINISTER

Mr. Sinister has been my favorite villain since I was a kid. Only person who can whoop him is Scott Summers. Probably Jean Gray now that she is a comic cheat code. I hope he makes it into the MCU
