That diplomatic immunity is what made his defeat at the end of marvel ultimate alliance so satisfying, that political title means nothing to a literal god .

This is my all time favorite comic book character. Absolutely love Doom, will never forget playing marvel super heroes on ps1 and before Thanos you’d have to face Doom and he was always the harder of the two bosses.

Victor is my favorite character in ALL of fiction. I know people who are fans of the MCU and Doomsy are disappointed right now due to recent rumors and confirmation but just know when his time comes, it will be glorious.

When I got back into comics a little while ago, I picked up Infamous Iron Man. I really enjoyed it, watching Doom try to be a hero when Tony Stark was gone was an interesting story.

I highly recommend reading Books of Doom and then straight to Triumph and Torment. They work perfectly together to tell a complete story. Great episode guys!

It baffles me how in some stories Doom can trick the Beyonder and everyone. Then in others he gets tricked by people like Reed and T'Challa.

@@mnightshade107 I know they are, they’re bad ass characters. But how does one go from tricking BEYONDER lol to humans out smarting ya. It’s just a large leap but I understand they have to make him beatable.
another element of Doom that's rather cool is he's one of the few characters in the comics who routinely packs heat. He carries a 9mm Mauser in a holster for "jobs" too minimal to requires his armor or his magic.

Doom is a classic and I hope the next real life adaptation of the character will acknowledge the magical aspects. I hope it’s not just a “tech guy” who is a genius, but a genius who learned magic AND tech parallel.

I HAVE WAITED YEARS FOR A HISTORY OF DR DOOM EPISODE ON VARIANT THANK YOUUUUU
He’s also one of my favorite villains. One of the best part is how he got tested by a god, Bast, who is in charge and worshiped by the Wakandans and even it said it couldn’t stop Doom as - it can only stop those it deems unworthy, dishonorable or with intent - and it sense that Doom truly believes the world would be better under him. Or any time he saves the Earth and the Fantastic 4 because none but Doom may kill Reed Richard’s.
But one of my all time favorite has to be when Doom discovers Sue storm has been switched with a skrull immediately and not even her own husband notices that fast ( in multiple tv shows).
Doom is my favorite all time character I wish they would make a 3 part movie all about him with cillian murphy or luke evans playing him

Well Arris dude ! I am late to the show on this one ,since have not been in while .But I have to admit Dr Doom has always been on my favourite villains in Marvel.Since like he has fought every Marvel hero at one point ,But he sticks out as real badass compared to all the other Marvel villains .

My favorite Dr. Doom story outside of the FF? Iron Man 149 & 150, drawn by John Romita Jr. and Bob Layton. Great stuff.
Infamous Iron Man is easily in my top 3 favorite doom stories. Doom can often be a 1 note character and this run develops the character a little more.

Here is another interesting fact: he's not a real doctor lol. When Victor found out about DOCTOR Reed Richards's success in America, he told the monks to start calling him Doctor Doom. I wouldn't be surprised if he later made it official after taking control of his country.
Doom is by far my favourite villain. So powerful only limited by his ego.
Two Doom stories that deserve, I think, and honorable (¿dis-honorable?) mention: Doom vs. Squirrel Girl, and Doom vs. Luke Cage.

One thing is he is such an interesting and intriguing character, but he is just so hard to do in a standard superhero movie where he’s just another big bad with barely any screen time. What would be interesting if they are gonna get him in the MCU just give him his own movie where here is our lead character, he’s a villain but you follow his story. We don’t get villain movies in the MCU and it would be refreshing and help doom not feel generic
