He's at an older age. But if they reboot and/ or put him with the MCU- I'd love for him to make a cameo of have a small roll in. He brought Blade to life and he should be recognized from it.

I know Trinity isn't well-received in the fandom, but that part at the beginning when the lair is blowing up & Blade just sits down in the midst of his captors looking at the chaos & ruin in front him in despair, because he realizes that Whistler, the only father he's ever known, is gone. That scene was powerful. He could have easily overpowered them all & gotten away, but his heart was broken. 💔 For all of the shit this film gets shoveled onto it by fans, THAT scene is in my top 3 faves of the entire trilogy. 😘

Nah, not at all. The mainstreamed version of his origin is overall a perfected version OF his backstory from his first comic run, what the first blade movie did for his character was overall perfect for his backstory and most versions of his character take influence from the first film. I would LOVE to see Blade’s life as a kid and his teenage years, that would be great to see entirely so!

As a black male comic book lover, Blade for me is one of the greatest Black heroes (anti heroes if you wanna get technical) in all of comics and Wesley really did the character justice, and I cannot wait to see what Mahershala does with the character because he truly is one of the coolest characters period in existence and the anime show was also really awesome, the live action show however was not too good, nor was the third movie but that wasn't Snipes fault it was Goyer's imo!!!...
As much as i LOVED the Wesley Snipes Blade films, i would love to see his original comic story on screen. It would give his character a fresh new perspective.
