The writers can make Peter a bit too altruistic. It doesn’t make sense that he would just let himself be beaten to death by a mob. He has to have a fight or flight mechanism like any living being. He didn’t have to kill anyone in that mob to escape with his life. They just killed him for shock value. It’s ridiculous.
When he's in the Black Suit, he isn't forced into anger or resentment. He just isn't inhibited anymore. He's too durable for him to not snap at a crowd like that.
Not only that but he has a self-preservation instinct that is hardwired into all living beings

That’s something that Tony or Reed would come up with. Forge just knows there is a need and he creates something for that need.
It’s kinda like Forge’s power represents “what to think” while genius minds like Tony or Reed represent “how to think”.
Probably the worst Spider-Man death to date. He's not MLK Jr that he'd let himself get beaten by the mob. Likely Spider-Man would simply find an escape route even if he wasn't going to fight back.

@@markmagician2471 I disagree. While Jameson doesn't like Spider-Man I don't think he's ever outright said he wanted Spidey dead. He doesn't like vigilantes in masks running around the city doing what they want. I've always felt his stance was more in line with the Superhero Registration Act. I'm pretty sure he just wants Spidey unmasked. Any instance of Peter revealing his identity to him hasn't really led to anything catastrophic and he hasn't tried to kill him after finding out.
Of course, Scorpion being stuck in the suit and getting murderous was a direct result of his own actions, and the Spider Slayers are his fault too, I think those are just examples of him accidentally going overboard.

Nobody hates anybody man, you people just don’t get what the other side is saying and don’t make an attempt too because you think they’re morally horrible. The right doesn’t hate Hispanic people, they hate the fact that they enter the US illegally and the government lets them get away with it despite all of the issues that brings (immigrants hate this too, they went through the process so why are these people allowed to just not go through it?) and the left doesn’t hate white dudes. Both sides hate eachother for stupid reasons that are easily reconcilable if they get off of their damn high horses and stop acting like the the other side is radically against them and moral goodness
This Spider-Man death will always annoy me beyond belief, I just find it so hard to believe that Peter wouldn’t have fought back in any capacity, plus, those are REGULAR PEOPLE, he’s been hit much harder and walked it off.

Just weird story telling. I mean there’s no sentinel that could kill the hulk or Thor, but here we are.
I personally think it was because it shows that he is peaceful and won't hurt anyone (physically). The sheer strength of Spider-Man might have enough force/power to kill the protesters. Spider-Man does not kill. This is an example of it being shown. He did try to escape to avoid this. That is what I think so anyway.

@@shadowx8145 yeah, the gala massacre highlighted a lot. As Xavier cares more about humanity than mutants. Seeing as he used his telepathy, to send the vast population of the island. Into portals, were they’d be put in situations. Where they’d be at the mercy of orchics. Magneto would never concede to Orchis. Leaving the mutant population to be left to die. Or be at the mercy of Orchis.

I really liked the first two issues. Pre-Apocalyptic tales are just more interesting than post. Seeing how the US shifted from a democracy to robot apocalypse was believable but should have been the whole mini.
i have been learning of Dr.Doom more and he seems invincible, seeing a red x over his face meaning dead was a shocker, he sounds invincible, though sentinels are scarier then i used to think, they definitely are not JUST giant robots to wreck
And to think latveria is in Europe to… like he travelled to America for what reason?
He isn’t invincible, he literally gets his ass handed to him by reed richards and gets humbled one a month by someone with actual power over him, like the sentry
This comics is one of the biggest bs i have ever seen depicted on panel, and i was here only for see with my own eyes how sentinel get rid of Dr.Doom and Hulk. That was one of the quesiton i have since i read the original storyline, but looking at how they treated Spidey and the f4 (specially Sue Storm), im really happy is happened off panel. Btw nothing againist u Rob, and ty for cover this storyline, have an amazing one.
Seeing the difference between the setinal designs reminds of a theory I had about a secret weakness: The Lang Setinals look an awful lot like the Kree centurion probe that got taken down by the Fantastic Four. If that was used as the basis for the upgrades then they might still have Kree override comands lurking in their basecode. And if that's true then anyone with a good handle on the Kree language and acsess to old commands (say, Captain Marvel) could take control and tell 'em what to go do with themselves.

Its super unrealistic on how they be killing Spiderman he tanks hits from hulk , the rhino. Juggernaut etc. him getting beat to death by a mobb of humans with bricks & pipes or him getting bitten by regular zombies shouldn't be possible

If Thor and Ghost Rider are taken off the board by Sentinels, it would be the Nimrod Sentinels that do it (Nimrod took out The Juggernaut on two separate occasions, and he is definitely not a mutant)

This was one of the coolest "remakes" of X-Men lore I ever seen, and I want to make a game to reflect the epicness where you have two endings, one where the X-Men succeed and one where they fail. Game of the Year material right there!

I no longer understand how I’m supposed to follow storylines on this channel. The only issue in the relationship between myself and comics was that I missed info in storylines because I never knew where something started and ended and that’s why I just followed them on this channel. Since this channel has been restructured I don’t know what stories are being covered or how to go to the beginning/work to the end of a specific line.
From what I can tell, there is a barrier between Rob himself, the editor(s,) and maybe an agency.
A few months ago the titles were all... Clickbait. And they've *all actually been changed.*
Rob says "You'll find a playlist" but *they don't actually put the playlist in.* And that damn description is textbook SEO. It seems to run on a flawed script, because it even links itself at the bottom...
(Rob if you're reading this, I get the MCU was how the channel was making money, but I am perfectly happy with ads instead. These small things all made the channel feel cold and artificial over the last year.)

I have one thing that always bothered me where people complain about the paradox thing. If one bit of history occurred moment A. You go back in time and change it to moment B. The argument is well if A didn't happen you could have never gone back to create B...but what if moment A is a moment that did happen _ONCE_ In short when you change the future there's no requirement for it to exist as a result of A reoccurring. It happened in that isolated moment. In short even though moment A is gone and replaced with B it no longer needed the existence of A all together as it was a defined moment already done. It's like if A was just a layer and B was placed on top of it. Basically the original timeline happened up until that moment and then became overwritten. It would mean that history is not fixed but fluid. Traveling back in time doesn't erase, it overwrites but the data is still there. The only other loop hole is meeting yourself and you can always create some rule that meeting yourself causes some messed up sh!t or maybe forces you to merge into yourself, I dunno.

This is why the writing is so brilliant. Spider-Man is a man of the people. So of course he doesn’t want to beat down the people that are attacking him. And it’s in that moment that he ends up dying to those very same people.

Given the context of the story however, I’m willing to believe they just wanted to use Spider-Man as a plot device to show how lame the world had gotten. It was gonna be something like this or Spider-Man, making that same old played out heroic sacrifice.

Why didn’t Destiny predict what was going to happen after she killed Kelly?
How her power works is the further the prediction the harder it is for her to see. If it is within the day she sees it perfectly. If it is years down the road then she has a maybe. She has seen distant futures but it's not all of the details. It's like she sees in 15 years there will be a wild fire that carries over into a major city. 100,000 will certainly die. Toad was there and survived. Guess he has something to do with starting the fire.

I always wished that since the mcu used inhumans as the mutant replacement in universe, that the prejudice issue would’ve been explored more, with inhuman dogs being used to hunt them down. They have poly-tectic adaptive materials that absorb almost any inhuman powers. They have brain washing capabilities, and even the capability of making LMD style robots, or even synthezoid organic hybrid inhuman robots with multiple powers. This hybrid could be given technology from the deathlok program to make it stronger, faster, and heal from most wounds, along with technology from project destroyer of worlds giving them the ability to turn their body into anything they touch. This could be manipulated to protect against inhuman abilities. Lastly, they could just steal the inhuman invulnerability power making the inhuman dog invulnerable to almost all inhuman powers in general. Hive had this ability. That would have made inhuman arcs in the mcu more interesting. They could’ve teamed up with inhumans on the moon.

Forge's mutant power is he can create with technology anything he can conceive (and the necessary tools to make it if it doesn't exist)
He also has magic powers that he rarely uses (and rarer still come up in the comics because of Marvel's concern about racial tropes)
Hasn’t this video basically been made before, under a different title / storyline? I’m pretty sure in the comic read of the x-men in general. Just because this includes some of the super hero’s like spider-man and stuff, doesn’t really make this a separate read?
I grew up in the 1990s, and yeah, the X-Men comics were simply my favourite thing.
With the X-Men being a government now instead of heros, I'd give good money for a story of the mutants being destroyed

Can we get a Days of Future Past television series please!
Season 1: Development of the sentinels and we also get to know the main cast of heroes. The season ends with the sentinels gaining autonomy and deciding to take over.
Season 2: Sentinals start taking over and succeed by the end of the season.
Season 3: The resistance movement is formed in the dystopian future, starts working to save mutants and actively works against the sentinels. The season ends with the resistance sending the mind of a hero back in time.
Season 4: Takes place as an alternate season 1, but the season ends with them stopping the sentinels and in doing so creating a better future!

Can you do a video on Jonathan Caesar, the guy who was obsessed with Mary Jane Parker in the late 80s. The original Days of Furures Past is considered to be Earth 811. There is another Alternate Reality that happens in What if vol 2 no 114 that is on Earth 9811. I guess this is the 3rd variation on this destopian world.
