Nova always held a special place in my heart. I was at the local library reading comics when I saw Richard Ryder become the last surviving nova corps member. It was my first time ever hearing of the nova corps and it was epic.

I love Nova as a character (Sam's my guy but Rich is cool too) and cannot wait for them to be introduced to the cinematic universe. On another note, I hope they bring out a new Nova comic series and hopefully one day, I will even get to draw that book too!!
The most underrated Marvel character.
Nova has always been my favourite Marvel hero with Nightwing being my favourite DC: hope to see two big screen character debuts over the next few years
Although the Nova Corps are Marvel’s mere image of DC’s Green Lantern Corps, Richard Rider is definitely an original character that Marvel has got to bring straight out of the comics into the MCU in the right direction

I hope we get an announcement of a Nova movie at Comic con this year. Nova [Richard Rider] is one of my favorite heroes. I want to see him done some justice on the big screen.

MCU needs to bring Richard Ryder to the big screen.
Rich’s gravimetric powers are some of my favourite. Exerting incredible G-forces to immobilise enemies is so cool, almost like scarlet witch manipulating Vision’s density so he his crushed into and through the ground. So awesome 😩
I would love to see Novas and Quasars friendship play out in the mcu but I fear we won’t get that now considering they added phyla as quasar smh

Funny timing. I was looking at the history of Nova just a couple days ago since I thought his Marvel Champions deck looked fun!
He’s been my favourite hero for the past 13 years, such a shame that he hasn’t been given the love and respect he deserves. The MCU just tries to jam captain marvel down our throats when there’s literally a whole universe of cosmic characters ready to be used.

My dad's favorite super hero. I had no clue who this was until I looked him up. Yeah, I was definitely missing out.
Rider does not get his powers the way Alexander does. Rider actually has a direct connection to the Nova Force while Alexander gets his power through the helmet. Prior to the introduction of Alexander, none of the Crops had helmet-based powers. As far as how I feel about the character, Rider has been my favorite since he was first introduced (I was 10 years old at the time).

Many times when you guys do one of these videos and get to the powers/abilities part, you'll say super strength. Could you possibly include a class range? Spiderman strong? Colossus strong? Hulk, Blue Marvel or Hyperion strong? If not, it's all good. Just thought it might help those new to a character.

How come we didn't see the current status of the Nova Corps during the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 movie since it could have showed them on New Xandar creating the Nova helmets for members like Richard Rider and Sam Alexander? How many of you think that the Nova Corps created the World Mind and the Nova force with the power stone the Guardians of the Galaxy gave them for safe keeping during their first movie before they lost it to Thanos during Avengers Infinity War?

Doctor Spectrum is another O.P. Character that i think should be introduced into the MCU. How powerful can actually destroy Hal Jordan. The Green Lantern.
I've been an original NOVA fan-boy since the early 80s and knowing how close we have come to seeing the MCU version (in the first Guardians movie and then Infinity War/Endgame) only for the character to be pulled from the story is a real kick in the teeth. And to add insult-to-injury; the Disney+ project has now been officially cancelled with no firm expectation or guess when (or if) the character will EVER appear on the big or little screen. 😕
