@@robinvanderpool82i can't imagine how naive someone has to be to read this abdiction letter, which written under duress, and believe it was even penned by the queen. also, an abdiction letter, whether written under duress or not, does not take the place of a treaty of peace.
Dr. Sai is being very disingenuous about what happened at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA ) in the Hague. 1.) In it's written award or ruling the PCA never stated the Hawaiian Kingdom continues to exist until present day. Instead it states that the Hawaiian Kingdom "EXISTED" in the nineteenth century and goes onto to say that "Joint Resolution No. 55 was passed by the United States House of Representatives and Senate to provide for the annexation of the Hawaiian Islands to the United States." Don't believe me? Anyone can read the official record here: @t 2.) Dr. Sai states in his lecture that the PCA would not have agreed to hear the case if the international court didn't recognize the Hawaiian Kingdom as a current sovereign nation. WRONG again. The PCA hears cases brought by private parties as well as nations. Here is an excerpt from the history section of the official PCA website "Today the PCA provides services for the resolution of disputes involving various combinations of states, state entities, intergovernmental organizations, and PRIVATE PARTIES." Also, just Hearing a case doesn't equate to recognition. 3.) The PCA award itself was a failure for Dr. Sai and the Larsen case. Here is the official "Award" as the PCA calls it: "For the reasons stated above, the Tribunal determines as a matter of international law, which it is directed to apply by Article 3 (1) of the Arbitration Agreement: (a) that there is no dispute between the parties capable of submission to arbitration, and (b) that, in any event, the Tribunal is precluded from the consideration of the issues raised by the parties by reason of the fact that the United States of America is not a party to the proceedings and has not consented to them. Accordingly, the Tribunal finds that these arbitral proceedings are not maintainable. " Dr. Sai is preying on people's ignorance by counting on the fact that nobody will take a deeper look at the Larsen Vs. Hawaiian Kingdom case. The whole thing was a failure, legally speaking anyway.

He had stated that the Us passed a municipal law claiming to annex Hawaiian Kingdom, but that’s not how annexation works. There has to be an international treaty of annexation. The municipal law of one country cannot annex another country

Third. I do hereby respectfully implore for such misguided Hawaiians and others as have been concerned in the late rebellion against the Republic of Hawaii, such degree of executive clemency as the Government may deem to be consistent with its duty to the community, and such as a due regard for its violated laws may permit.
Fourth. It is my sincere desire henceforth to live in absolute privacy and retirement from all publicity, or even appearance of being concerned in the public affairs of the Hawaiian Islands, further than to express, as I now do and shall always continue to do, my most sincere hope for the welfare and prosperity of its people, under and subject to the Government of the Republic of Hawaii.
Fifth. I hereby offer and present my duly certified oath of allegiance to the Republic of Hawaii.
Sixth. I have caused the foregoing statement to be prepared and drawn, and have signed the same without having received the slightest suggestion from the President of Hawaii, or from any member of the Government of Hawaii, concerning the same or any part thereof, or concerning any action or course of my own in the premises.

Queen Lili’uokalani was not an absolute ruler; she, by herself, did not have the authority to abdicate the government of the Hawaiian Kingdom; it was the Hawaiian Kingdom Government which was treacherously assaulted and overthrown, not the sovereign independent state of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Therefore, her “abdication” is not relevant to the issue at hand: an unlawful, illegal, treacherous overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom with the complicit, and formal aiding and abetting, of the USA. - Nice try, though! Dr. Sai is being very disingenuous about what happened at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA ) in the Hague.
1.) In it's written award or ruling the PCA never stated the Hawaiian Kingdom continues to exist until present day. Instead it states that the Hawaiian Kingdom "EXISTED" in the nineteenth century and goes onto to say that "Joint Resolution No. 55 was passed by the United States House of Representatives and Senate to provide for the annexation of the Hawaiian Islands to the United States." 2.) Dr. Sai states in his lecture that the PCA would not have agreed to hear the case if the international court didn't recognize the Hawaiian Kingdom as a current sovereign nation. WRONG again. The PCA hears cases brought by private parties as well as nations. Here is an excerpt from the history section of the official PCA website "Today the PCA provides services for the resolution of disputes involving various combinations of states, state entities, intergovernmental organizations, and PRIVATE PARTIES." Also, just Hearing a case doesn't equate to recognition.
3.) The PCA award itself was a failure for Dr. Sai and the Larsen case. Here is the official "Award" as the PCA calls it:
"For the reasons stated above, the Tribunal determines as a matter of international law, which it is directed to apply by Article 3 (1) of the Arbitration Agreement:
(a) that there is no dispute between the parties capable of submission to
arbitration, and
(b) that, in any event, the Tribunal is precluded from the consideration of the
issues raised by the parties by reason of the fact that the United States of
America is not a party to the proceedings and has not consented to them.
Accordingly, the Tribunal finds that these arbitral proceedings are not maintainable.

Dr. Sai is preying on people's ignorance by counting on the fact that nobody will take a deeper look at the Larsen Vs. Hawaiian Kingdom case. The whole thing was a failure, legally speaking anyway.

He had stated that the Us passed a municipal law claiming to annex Hawaiian Kingdom, but that’s not how annexation works. There has to be an international treaty of annexation. Secondly, Texas was the Republic of Texas, it was an independent nation and was annexed to the US via Joint Resolution just like The Republic of Hawaii did. Republic of Texas and the Republic of Hawaii both lobbied to become part of the US. Third, Dr. Sai says the PCA stated in it's report that the Hawaiian Kingdom still exists. It doesn't. Andrew, Texas was annexed by a treaty with Spain from the Spanish American war.
The Republic of Hawaii was never a legitimate government. They had no international recognition as an independent state. Therefore no legal grounds for annexation.
The US claimed to annex the Hawaiian kingdom (an independent state) by a US municipal law. The US cannot pass laws pertaining to other independent states, that’s how international law works. Britain cannot pass laws that apply to France and visa Versa.
Similarly the US Supreme Court has no jurisdiction over the Hawaiian Kingdom. Legislation American law in any occupied independent state is a war crime.
So citing Supreme Court decisions proves nothing and only weakens your position showing that you don’t understand international law- laws between nations
