Monet rarely painted wet in wet painting. He let each layer dry. He also used quick and choppy strokes of color. Also, he worked on many paintings at the same time while he waited for layers in some paintings to dry. Painting wet over dry gave him a web like effect of color. It seems like he painted pictures fast, but his paintings usually took a very long time to complete as time of day and light was so fleeting. He worked on pictures in the field and back at his studio.

Please don't mislead people, you paint with value, not as much as with colour to make the form turn. Nice painting, but far away from the style of Monet (Impressionism)
