Can you do one where you don't skip any of it? I feel like when you make the cuts I miss all of the important stuff, sorry in advance if you have a video already like that just commenting for recommendation!
This is great. Lots of people say they paint in an "Impressionist" style but don't seem to get the point of what the Impressionists were doing. You obviously do. Fantastic work!
I really enjoy your videos. It would be so helpful if you added a very small picture of what you are copying in the upper right edge of the frame. Thank you so much for the great instruction. Glenn
Excellent work! You are obviously a natural and I appreciate you sharing this video. It would be great if you explained how you achieved certain techniques, for example, between 3:00 and 3:02 and 4:18 where the colour blends so beautifully. Again at 5:29 a drastic change has taken place that would have been nice to see as well. You are very talented and thank you again for sharing!
Hello, its easier to blend if you are using Oil paint with some Turp as compared to Acrylics. It feels like spreading butter on bread. The concern of most painters painting in the impressionist style is to actually not blend the strokes.
Xiao Hei. we are all equal Yes, however, the artist doesn't demonstrate the blending at the aforementioned times. Is he allowing time for the painting to dry between sessions as well?
Very interesting how thick/thin paint is ultimately used to create a sense of volume. By starting thin and adding thick lights/thicker darks you can modulate the already existing masses of mid-tones
Grazie.
Merci isabelle
Monet typically used Ultramarine or Cobalt Blue, Cadmium Yellow, Vermilion and Alizarin Crimson for reds, Veridian and Emerald Green for greens, Cobalt Violet and Lead White. He hardly used colours straight from the tube.
I think it is meant for intermediate to advanced learners. I am doing a copy of a Pissaro painting and I wanted to see the underlying technique in brief. monet painted several works at the same time, depending on the time of day, works that he resumed painting with the same climatic conditions of the following day
You could use his hand as a guide,I’m guessing 30x35 cm(12x15 inches). If you can’t guess the approximate size from observation of what you see I think you may have problems painting anything

Excellent. One of the best of Monet’s style. Thank you
Great job!! This is one of the best examples of Monet's style I've seen.
Ti ringrazio molto.

Brilliant! Also, would love to know your color pallet as you go along and your mixtures for us trying to learn by example.

Semplice cotone.
Grazie
Monet é um dos meus artistas favoritos

aprecio lo que pintaste esta muy lindo

very informative, i did oils for many years, now i am doing watercolor, i wonder if i could use a similar technique?
fabulous
Grazie.
Wonderful video! Please tell us what you used as a solvent? Is it white spirit or oil? Thanks a lot!
Awesome. Sure your brush isn't magic?

Hola! En cuantas sesiones se hizo el cuadro?
Molte sessioni. Anche Monet non dipingeva mai alla prima.
Is it all a prima? Or did you let the layers dry?
La seconda che hai detto. Monet non dipingeva mai alla prima.
How can a get this talent in a week?
Arabesque 1 from Debussy ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
good job.!
Superb!!!

What kind of paintur it is?
Olio.
Just love the work and the music but this is by no means a tutorial.

@@Citizen_X. is this video using acrylics?
@@lauralevy4676 Hello Laura, the artist is using Oil paint.
WOW
Someone tell me the music?
Arabesque No.1 by Claude Debussy
Debussy.
The devil is always in the details. I bet that Monet took much longer to paint a painting.
monet painted several works at the same time, depending on the time of day, works that he resumed painting with the same climatic conditions of the following day
How big is the canvas?

30x40 cm.
