*URGENT* Hi there. I’m 17. And I have this same corsa. I have just ordered 4 cans of plasti dip to spray my wheels however I am not allowed to have my wheels sprayed due to my BLACK BOX insurance. I know I’m taking a risk and all but am I right to believe that there’s no way for them to realise this mod unless I crash? Or I mean, do they do secret home checks on the car when I’m asleep? Please advise me if u can!
@@baproductions7077 No way they will know unless you crash, but if you crash, whether it's your fault or not the claim could be invalidated and your insurance will skyrocket due to it being invalidated. Not worth the risk imo aha

You could spray it with clear lacquer either Matt or Gloss finish. Would provide extra protection. Did that with my mud flaps. After 6 months driving, they still look better than new.

I've put the Black Edition grill on mine. Easier than pissing about painting up the chrome. Nice gloss finish sets the front up nicely. Good job though bro with yours 👌 glossifier might help give it some shine

I had Plasti-dip on the Vauxhall logo on the wheels and washed that a lot and it was perfect for about a year :)))

‘Plasti Dip Glossifier’ will be the product u want for a clear coat for the glossy effect your looking for

I've done it a few weeks ago and take it from me, don't do it guys.. yeah it's cheap and it looks cool for a few weeks, maybe months, until the weather gets to it, yes it's also easy to peal off, but whats not so easy is the first coat you've put on, that sh*t won't peal off with the rest of the plasti dip, you will have to scratch it off and you better use a toothpick. Spend some more cash, have them removed and repainted properly or just buy already painted set, you will be doing yourself a favor trust me
So with the plasti-dip, if you get bored of the black you can just peel it off?

Anyone doing this , I took my bumper off and I clipped out the chrome bit. Put it on news paper and sprayed, saves all the masking. For my corsa d it was 4 bolts at the top inside the bonnet, 2 torx screws inside the front wheel arch at the front , 5 torx screws under the bumper , un clip the fog lamps and temperature sensor and away comes your bumper. Took me 7 to 10 mins to get off .
How many cans do you need
If the paint can just peel off, I don't get how it sticks to the chrome?! Have you put this through a jet wash bro?
