Thanks very much, im just in the process of looking for a mk5 corsa and this has really helped me overlook the chrome details which i hate. I really dont like the chrome which runs along the middle of the grill so i'll try this plastidip method, its really good to know its also reversable so thank you for doing this video

Can u take the English corsa badge and replace it with the Opel badge on the black plastic that the rear badge sits on?
James Steele yes the whole badge assembly comes apart. Same process as taking it off and then push the little circular clips in from behind it.
HaphazardGarage thanks for replying, appreciate it. I was also wondering if the front bumper thats carbon fibre on ur vxr, does it come of and can the corsa badge be replaced with the Opel one?
James Steele no worries. Yeah exactly that. That section lifts off and the badge rotates off from there.
HaphazardGarage would u be able to do a video on it as I don’t want to snap my plastic by doing it wrong please.

Where did you get your carbon overlay to cover the chrome grill trim?
That’s a standard factory piece when the model has Carbon Pack. Also includes the same effect on wing mirrors. Might be able to purchase those parts separately from a breaker.
I've got a corsa Vx-line and the red dash trim has some paint off it how would I go about taking the trim off to repaint it myself?
Hi mate, nice video very informative, I have the SRi in black which is nice but your carbon fibre trim around the badge is a chrome effect on mine which I’m not so keen on so would be class to get that painted! My question is how does the plasti dip do when cleaning and how long did it last? Cheers 👍🏻
Thanks mate. It’s still on to be fair. Only a small bit of peel around the edges, but that can be touched up with plastidip on a small brush again. Still pretty happy with it to be honest. 👍
HaphazardGarage nice one, think I’ll give this a go, reckon it would just peel straight off if needed without any damage on the chrome or would it bond with the chrome and pull it off too, sorry for the questions just never used plasti dip before
Andrew Monument that’s fine mate. It’s really not meant to. They promise no damage removals. Obviously I can’t guarantee it for you, but I really recommend it. I removed it from the back one with no damage.

does the actual badge alone just come off? want to replace it with a 3d printed one

i repalced my grille with a debadged already (because I cracked it)
How did you get the front badge off
I’m guessing you could do the back badge without having to take it out cause I can’t be bothered ripping it out

silvastomp its a great car. Nice and nippy. Not Golf R kind of speed, but a nice amount of poke. Depends on your budget I guess.

Would doing the chrome part on the daytime lights be similar to front badge ?
Mr Studio thanks for watching! what bit are you referring to dude? Is it inside the light cluster or the chrome surrounds at the bottom of the bumper?
Mr Studio no bother dude! Personally, I would mask them and spray them on the car. We did a similar video on Zac’s Mini you could check out. For all the time it takes to mask and paper it, it saves you damaging any clips by pulling off the surrounds. Plastidip is cool stuff, but try the razor method to get a clean line because it likes to tear with the masking tape removal

Tom Randall fair point bro, but it’s just a car badge haha. My hands were clean. I’m normally more careful for open heart surgery.

Tom Randall thanks a lot man! Appreciate the support! We are very careful in our prep of surfaces especially for painting. Plastidip is actually very very forgiving when it comes to surface prep and the layer building really helps too! You do have a fair point though haha!

Could you paint the chrome fog light surrounds things? I think they pop out. That what I want to do to mine but not 100% sure
DeadlyShadowGaming hey Man, thanks for watching! Yeah we could have a look at that! We’ve had another request for that to be done aswell so we’ll see what we could do. I’ll have a look at the clips and see if they’re easy enough to remove from the vehicle.

matthew brown haha, that’s alright dude! We’re not touchy! It was more of a guide because one of our subscribers had asked for us to show it and mainly the rear badge mechanism too! We always try to make videos that our viewers ask. I certainly wasn’t a fan of the rear haha.
The rear looked fowl lol but front looked alright against the carbon ....... but still won’t be doing it ..... just wondering if your planning a front splitter video ...... or maybe a interior infotainment refit ??? Just a couple of ideas thrown into the mix
matthew brown yeah definitely interested in getting a splitter sorted! The Scottish weather hasn’t been great recently so has put a stop to filming for a little break. Plenty of videos coming soon! I would love to change to the R4.0 headunit at some point man! Thanks! 🤙
