Hi, I love this channel , I think Ant is awesome, you can talk all day about a prado and I never get bored, I’m from the UK I’ve got a 2004 120 3.0 D4D lc5 that’s the top range over here with the leather and air suspension, I love my prado, I’ve had it 5 years it’s done 81,000 miles that’s about 130,000km I bought it with 60000 miles 96,000km it really is like new the 1 owner before me, lady owner didn’t drive it much, I was so lucky to find it, I took a 2015 model 150 for a test drive, 2 days later this 120 turned up at the Toyota garage/dealership and it was filthy, just mud and straw in the back, No tow bar. I said any chance of me taking it out for a tease drive he said it needs a dam good clean and what not, I said that’s ok, well it drove like a brand new car, so I bought it there and then. £11,000 not sure what it is in aus dollars but it’s the best car I’ve ever had and it will never be sold again. We have took it to Europe in the Alps mountain ranges and back country roads in Austria Germany and Switzerland and it was by far the best car ever to do long adventure trips in that’s for sure, I can’t get enough of your videos, very well done, keep it up
You are right Anthony. I had a 120 from 2004 to 2012 and the rear was much better to set up for touring. The side hinged rear seats were very easy to remove and replace when needed. And a lower , flatter floor. My present 2012 150 Altitude( GXL) the rear floor has a very slight slope to the rear and the rear seats in the floor rarely see the light of day. I could remove them but sometimes I need them.
Hi anthony., just want to get an advise from u. Planning to buy a prado 120. Found 1 its 2008 prado vx with 260kms and they selling it for 30k nz dollar. Do u think its worth it? Hope u can help me. Thanks

Lol, Anthony buddy - yes! This is fine as audio-only/radio-style. Leave it on in the background, & educate myself on pretty-much the single most important inanimate subject that exists for me - looking after my 120 Series 1KD-FTV! 👍🏽👍🏽

I've managed to fit a 95L dual zone waeco with the waeco fridge slide in the back of my 120 gxl. As a tourer it definitely ticks all the boxes for me.

+1 for team GX 👍
On the ring road mate
My daily trip up until boundary exit
Is there a fix for the spongy brake pedal feel in the 120?
Nothing to fix.
Fresh components will have it very good.
Brake fluid
Pads rotors
Unless there is an issue
Gx 150 space interesting point
I prefer the 120 third row setup.
why ?
Educating on the move ! 👍
Listen and learn 👍
