one of the biggest problems I have observed in this profession is the lack of more modern equipment to work with dogs 🐕 the current tools are from medieval times. this job is stressful, dangerous, you earned a subscriber 👍
That was truly amazing. I have been grooming 19 years and would of not been able to do what you did. I learned a few tricks watching you. A it's so true, pet parents think it's easy ...until they try it. This job while very rewarding makes you old fast. (Back, hands and feet). Thank you for such a informative video.

Dogs are just like people in that way.
Some of are anxious because of trauma, some of us are mean and nasty because we’ve had such a hard life, but some of us are just naturally like that. Some folks are just aholes despite a peaceful life experience.

My dog is exactly like that what works for me is put the leash on then run it along the back hold it at the shoulder blades wrap it around the chest and back under itself it makes a sort of halter I used the clippers and do the best I can mostly around the ears and muzzle I have to be content with whatever progress I can make it I cant do it in one day tommorows another day I bought clippers watched videos - in the bathtub with a mat works grip the wet hair and carefully snip at about 1/2 inch I like the no command and I'll try it next time, and yes he has bit me- once I was trying to take a piece of paper he wastnt supposed to have away I'm glad the owner helped now I've cut his hair enough that he know there a beginning a middle and an end and neither one of us needs to get too riled up...

Would you recommend a mild sedative for him to help him relax? My Shorkie is a horror (very much like Jackson when you first did him) so I give her trazadone at my groomers request. She says it gives her just enough time to pull the scissors away from her face when she starts to bite at them.

If a dog of any breed is blind how are they to see that plastic tool you use
This question doesn't make sense to me
they can still smell, see fading of black and white, not pitch black, and they can still hear sometimes.
WHY not put this dog in a HARNESS?
I would think it would be less stressful on the dog and it wouldn't allow you do his feet, ears, and face by allowing you to hold his nose and be less likely to bit you. Also it would I think allow you to hold his nose so that can trim around his face.
Resulting in more control over the dog and protect you more from getting bit???
