Another question, please. If I have the Max with 24g weight in back isn’t that compensation for a slice since the COG is towards the back and on the downswing and impact the toe will whip to the left?
What is standard face angle on Sim 2 Max D. When I address the ball wth the white area on top of face when aligned square to target line the face appears to be closed.
@@samchapman3091 I adjusted the shaft some. It seemed to help with a higher loft than 10.5. Also pointing the toe in just a tad. Lot more straighter shots now
I too had a bad slice right with this driver. A small adjustment with my left hand (I'm a right hand player) a quarter inch clockwise fixed this.. I'm straight down the fairway now.
Great video, I’m looking at the moment to get the Sim 2 /max however I do have a question that I hope you can answer for me? I already have a R15 with a custom shaft that I want to keep so if I got the sim2 head would the shaft fit or would I need to change the adaptor? Thanks
My experience in fitting Golf Driver for Asian Golfer, 194 grams Head Weight, are most suitable for their strength. So normally I have to find the way to reduce 10 grams of weight for Taylormade SIM, Ping G425 etc in which have 204-205 grams std Head weight.
Hi. I have a sim 2 max. Im a relative beginner. 9 of 10 my driver shots are consisitently going to the right. Whats the best settting for me to have to try and even this out? I think its currently set to "Higher"

Hi. I want to adjust my SIM 2 max for more draw. I pulled the screw out, and made the adjustment as you suggested, but there’s no click when I put the screw back in. It’s quite tight. Seems fairly simple, but am I doing something wrong if there’s no click?
hey there. just got a sim2 with the same shaft i used on my R1 for years. I hit that driver so well but now am struggling with hitting to many hooks. What setting do you suggest?
Happened to me! Hooks I found (for me) happens when I hit the ball on the heel of the face. So to correct this, I basically set the club of further back from the ball at address.
Is it against the rules to adjust during a round? If I set lower loft and this open face, can I compensate that fade bias with that other screw by setting that toward a draw bias?
I have a question????My daughter has the sim 2 max draw 12.00 However she wants to increase the loft to 14 degrees like her previous driver. CAN THIS be increased to 14 degree loft?
How normal is it that the adjustment screw snaps? My father has snapped 3 adjustment screws in only a few months of play. Also the rubber washer constantly is getting chewed up. Tried different tips and same results. Obviously it is not locking into place at the right torque pressure but why? Could it de defective some how? Please help.
It does click I just just did it on my Sim max2 driver. The shaft has to be seated all the way in or you may have issues. Maybe the screw wasn't seated properly that's why it snaps? Just a guess.
I’m concerned about buying counterfeit sim2 driver. Is there something I can identify when looking at a picture? Some distributors are unaware they’re buy/selling counterfeit. I’d like trust all sellers but I want to be confident in my purchase as well. TY! This video is going to get many views from me. - New Golfer
I’d say stand a little farther back and tee the ball down more. You’re hitting the toe is probably because you’re to close to the ball. And hitting high because the tee is high. If those don’t apply, keep your eye on the ball lol. Hope this help and good luck!
Try not to change your driver setting right away. Only do it when you hit the ball at the centre consistently and not very satisfied with the flight. Besides what Brandon says, when you hit it high it also could be due to you hitting it too deeply on the way down, try to feel like sweeping up instead of chopping down.
Adding my two cents worth.... you could be leaning a bit forward (more towards your toes) That create you to hit the ball more towards the heel of the clubhead.. Try standing a bit more upright and find a comfortable balance on your feet.. The tee height is different for various people.. After you take a drive, check the face of your driver and it'll have an imprint of where you're hitting the ball.. If it constantly shows towards the top of the face then lower the height of tee... or vise versa... ie. Change from an orange tee to a purple tee. The markings will come off the face of the driver with a rub.. Hope that helps..
If you’re hitting the toe, you’re standing too far from the ball. Try setting up with the ball right in the center of the club face at address, from there see where you hit on the face. If you hit toe, set up closer (ball on heel) if you hit heel, set up further (ball towards toe)
When I adjusted mine Sim2 Max, the shaft screw is totally different! Has almost no markings/info….just says higher/lower and a few notches….his looks much more informative…wtf
All you need to do depending on the direction of your slice is adjust your left hand ever so slightly, assuming your a righty, a bit clockwise if the slice is to the right and left if your slice is left. Your leaving the face open at Impact. Report back and tell me how it went.
@@dshudson hey dude, im an excellent ball striker, and literally since buying my sim 2 std driver never missed the middle, i have a swing which has all the characteristics of "the ball should go straight" and everytime i hit it it goes 40 metres to0 the right? any tips?
@@saxbysauce2225 Might be your shaft. They load/unload differently depending on tempo and swing speed. You might want to find your old shaft and get a TM tip or get fit for a shaft.
If you like the loft setting you are on, could rotate the shaft 180 degrees to the upright position…. This position tends to reduce right tendency, worth a try.
I don’t see how adjusting your shaft makes a difference. Sounds like bull. When you hold your club. When you swing your club your hands can end up in different places for the average golfer. Feels like a gimmick

You're slicing cuz your swing is out to in cutting accross the ball. Use a slightly closed stance to engrain the inside out swing path.
