- Hey guys, just wanted to make a quick guide on a very simplified analysis method. I think it will hopefully make looking at your own gameplay more approachable and help newer players get into the habit so they can notice patterns of mistakes in their gameplay and fix them more quickly. Enjoy!

APM Survival cycles:
30 - jstris.jezevec...
60 - jstris.jezevec...
90 - jstris.jezevec...
120 - jstris.jezevec...
150 (clean only) - jstris.jezevec...
200 - jstris.jezevec...
You can also use bots instead of the apm survival cycles! The cycles definitely work better because this is defense focused but it can help if you want to incorporate macro / cancelling stuff.
also the leaderboards for these are kind of broken lol just practice if you're above like 2-3 minutes for each you can move onto the next step until like 120, 150 being clean only is kind of wack and 200 is not practical unless you are top tier

Learning how to play tetris is hard. If you're trying to learn how to play tetris fast, this is a good guide! Whether you're getting started on TETR.IO, Puyo Puyo Tetris, or Tetris Effect, before you all try and learn how to do t-spins, downstack, or get stuck as an opener main spamming DT Cannon, Stickspin, Perfect Clears, or 4w, this is a must see guide on how to play tetris well (did I miss any keywords idk).

Hey Orz! Big fan, thanks for uploading this video, I was having trouble with having a consistent method for practicing, but this really helps! Also thanks for lending me your Ferrari to go to school, good looks bro😁
no problem I know your lambo was having some trouble because it couldn't carry the weight of your massive wealth and you had to take your super hot girlfriend betty white out to that michelin star restaurant on short notice so that is not trouble at all
great tips as always orz :D
Hey there, orz! Just wanted to say that this video singlehandedly got me to X rank! I’m such a huge fan of your content and am hungry for more. Also, thanks for letting me borrow your lambo, you’re so generous with lending it out
highly recommend!!!
Amazing video orz, I am gonna go use this trick on all my replays now! Thank you for imparting this invaluable wisdom to all of your viewers 😩😩🤯
I bleased subscribed. Thanks.
damn he's revealing the secrets to the masses, new players are going to rise up and kick me out of x rank

I've been playing Tetris for 30+ years but never actually tried to get good. I'm painfully slow at 40L. My average is about 2m30s. I watched some of your vids and want to work on improving my 40L. Would you recommend trying to do 6-3 or just work on 9-0? I'm going to try your exercise because I pretty much always get 1 tetris at the start then slowly start to screw my stack until I'm burning weird singles because I'm so bad at stacking.
I would probably just recommend 9-0 because it's going to be more straightforward, and the pattern stacking I described in my 6-3 video can actually lead you to some bad habits if you learn it before your fundamentals.
Analyzing the 10 tetrises exercise I think could work well! Just try and identify those bad patterns that cause you to skim when you look at the replay.
The most important thing though when building up the fundamentals is just grinding out that mileage of focused practice where you try your hardest to improve. I think with your experience if you start putting in that effort you'll get better very quickly. Good luck!
What would you do for 40L? What places should you look for when you go through those sorts of replays?
general stacking mistakes, potential easy patterns. if you're more advanced maybe look for das preservation opportunities (see stacking video / 6-3 videos for info)
