      The DPF, yes you are right. On long term, the higher combustion will lead to increased soot level blocking the DPF (believe aprox 1,5% more soot due to higher engine temp)
      Overheating of engine is big talks, but no clear evidence. EGR is deactivated at high loads as well as the fact that every car is designed for a certain environment (temperature climate). In theory the temperature increases, in practice as well, but it will never increase that much that you will experience additional cooling is required. This also is proven by the fact that removing the EGR by net provides more oxigen for cleaner combustion and that the net fuel consumptions drops and does not increase due to more active cooling required.
      FYI, i have worked 6 year in automotive engineering and 3 years specialized in engineering of exhaust gas after treatment for inland vessels, different sector, same concepts

Used oven cleaner and a pressure washer which helped. Blanked the egr too and checked the oil feed pipe and filter and luckily it was crystal clear so no oil starvation. I advise anyone doing this to also remove their inlet manifold, all electrical connectors and bung up all the holes, and fill it with Parafin. Leave to sit overnight, then jet spray it all out, then leave it to dry. And delete your swirlflaps whilst there. Literally removed two problematic and potentially engine destroyers. The EGR is slowly killing your engine and turbo. Swirlflaps are a common failure, which kill the engine off.

  • @Sushibasss
    @Sushibasss 6 лет назад +10

    lol removing the cooler is not recommended... you can just disable the valve operation by flashing the right parameters into the DDE... worthless video... removing the EGR w/o flashing causes fault codes to swarm your car lol
    afaik the coolant line is the part of the engine coolant line so blocking this path you're reducing the engine cooling... so i'd better leave it be and just block the EGR valve itself via software and by plugging the hole instead of the valve... i'd leave the EGR cooling be... just saying

    • @GeorgeAusters

      EGRs are the devils... They fill the intake manifold with soot and make you have no power below 2,000rpm while the valve is open

    • @johnnycarter6196
      @johnnycarter6196 5 лет назад +1

      EGR's are shit on cars, why you will want to keep them on the car, if that is destroying your engine. But everyone does what they think is better and not listening for does who know exactly how to make it better.
