Just wish the CRV in Gen 2/3 came as a constant AWD like the 1st and 2 Gen Rav4's did. Still I love my Gen 2 CRV. Great vid.
It's not the philosophy of honda's Real Time to be on all the time, on the road it's more economical.
I think it just needed a button on the dash for manual operation in off road
And still, when we look at the Real Time of the crv 5 we see that it is not obligatory... 💪
Otherwise on crv 2 you can change the spring setting in the differential for an earlier functioning of the dual pump
@@rayal4860 I'm well aware of how the dual pump rear diff works, we had a RAV4 with full time AWD and it was great..I just wish you had better control of the rear diff in the CRV, but I'm very happy with our Gen2, probably the best CRV. It goes very well in all our off road trips, beach mud and some moderate rocky trails... My rear diff responds within seconds and I have never been stuck. Just make sure you always have fresh dual pump oil in your diff.
Yes it's sure the crv 2 is a very good suv But the Real Time (and the vsa) on the gen 3 and 5 is more efficient in all terrain, more intelligent and more reactive

Yeah, CRV 2 is the best...Comparison video will be. I'd like to start working on it in the spring. But it's going to be a comparison of the 2 and 3 gen CRV.. These are my cars and I know a lot about them as a user. Maybe a Toyota Rav4 could be used in a comparison with them. It will be more work than usual, I want to do a complete comparison. I'm already preparing the content of the video..

Moc díky...Budu se snažit, aby byly videa ještě lepší 🙂Ono se ani nedá říct, že by byla jedna z těch dvou generací horší, nebo naopak.. Já si nejprve koupil 3 gen, jako pořádné auto pro rodinu a také na své cestování. Auto je to úplně dokonalé.. Dokonce prostornější i pohodlnější, než většina nových aut podobné třídy. Motor 2.2 ictdi je taky fajn, auto na svojí váhu jede slušně a spotřeba okolo 7,5 l. Byl jsem s ní tak spokojený, že jsem se rozhodl, že prodáme naší Fabii ve které jezdila moje partnerka a koupíme ji taky pěknou CRV 2 gen. Dlouho jsem hledal pěkný kus po faceliftu, až jsem našel. Jel jsem se na ní podívat a bylo jasno. Do auta jsem se zamiloval hned, jak jsem ho viděl. 🙂 Klasické hranaté tvary, rezerva na zadních dveřích a retro interiér.. Jako bonus kempingový stolek v kufru, jako spodní plato. Je to benzinová 2.0 ivtec. Oproti naftě ictdi je to línější, ale ve vyšších otáčkách ožívá, spotřeba 8 - 9,5 l. Ve srovnání s naftou krásně tiché. 2 gen má o něco vyšší světlou výšku, což se mi líbilo. Zkrátka ještě ten večer jsem přemluvil partnerku, že ji nechám 3 gen a já budu jezdit 2 gen. Vidím to takhle: 3 gen je modernější, krásný interiér, ideálnější na silnice a do města - terén zvládne taky, pohodlnější sedačky, měkčí podvozek. 2 gen: více klasické SUV, offroadový vzhled, v terénu je super, interiér staršího vzhledu - mě se líbí, silnice jezdím pomalejším tempem. Takže je to na každém, která se mu líbí.. Již dlouho plánuji srovnávací video...Na jaře bych na něm chtěl začít dělat.
Jinak v sekci KOMUNITA tohoto kanálu je hlasovací anketa oblíbenosti. 2 gen vs. 3 gen.
