I was disillusioned with modern music… Im on wrong side of 50… but this band. Wow. Fun. When I think of my favourite pop music over last 30 years it was always fun, even with sad songs - I can’t explain it. Maybe the way the song is produced ? Maybe the vocals ? But Babymetal are like a cool blast of freshness to me. It might be they don’t take things to seriously. In the 80s that was the vibe too. More about smashing melodies and engaging you. Im waffling right ? Lol. But yes, you nailed the reaction and I agree on every point. Your perspective is broad and you get it. Thank you.
You should also check out Electric Callboy too then. Think you might enjoy their style if you like baby metal. In fact, they did a song together called RaTaTaTa
Great reaction. They deserve ALL the chocolate.🍫🍫🍫 This was the video that went viral in 2014 and got them some attention outside of Japan not long before their first "world" tour. They still play this song in most of their concerts, it is so much better live of course ... and you wouldn't believe the mosh pits it starts.🤘
I couldn't be more agree with your train of thought at the end. Now it's the perfect time to enjoy the new official live version of: - *BxMxC* live at Legend MM 2024, it's a song from 2019 and totally a banger. Also if you wanna enjoy another classic BM song and usually the opener: - *Babymetal Death"* live at Legend 1997. Kitsune up and see you next AileenMetal.🦊🤘❤❤
This was the introduction of most of us to Baby metal, a wtf experience right off the bat and that chorus is the cherry on the top. I would suggest maximum the hormone, the song A.L.I.E.N. which is so crazy!
They are so good...What's amazing is they appeal to all different age groups...A while ago, someone suggested I listen to this song...Still can't get it out of my head...It's so catchy and fun...Going to see them in November in NYC...
The girls are legit singers, they just aged out of jpop and a producer was smart enough to hook them with a metal band. The band that backs the girls is a fn SICK, well oiled metal machine. The cool thing is that most people recognize that. Baby metal are pretty well liked and respected among the professional metal community.
My most favorite song from Babymetal is the rendition of No rain, No rainbow in Hiroshima from the legend - S - Baptism XX in 2017 . SueMetal is from Hiroshima and she is almost in tears at the end of that rendition. Better than all the other version because of her emotion state in that particular song, location and time.
They just want some chocolate but during the recent Europe Tour they got nothing but cute plush toys from fans throwing at them in the stage, of course the girls love to collect a lot of it. Btw they will be at Knotfest Brazil for the first time in South America and I just can't wait, The One is going crazy.🤩🤘🍫
My friend saw them live and he was blown away. Told me to check them out. I, likewise, had the same reaction. Long story short, we have tickets for November. stay positive and oneluv. 💙💙💙
Fun reaction! Saw them live recently and the music went surprisingly hard for me as a casual listener. The mosh pit was really energetic as well. Even better though (to me) was Hanabie. You should check out We love sweets by them, that'd fit thematically.
Well, the pit at the concerts is actually relatively normal, but the crowd as a whole is a super crazy mix... like 12 year old guys and girls with parents/grandparents (of which many do not realize what they've gotten themselves into, I believe) to old af hardcore metal fans... definitely the wildest bunch I've encountered at any event ever.
You are right about the diversity! What a collection of people that I would not expect to see at the same event....and loving it! The little girls in cosplay are so cute too
Bet it was Grandpa or Grandma who took the grandkids. I’m old old school metal head and Babymetal is the best thing I’ve heard in 10 years. Can’t wait to go but too old for mosh pits. BTW AC/DC has greatest diversity fan base literally had a prostitute on my left & lawyer in 3 piece suit on my right. Seen walkers & baby carriers
Amazingly, Gimme Chocolate and Ratatata were released 10 years apart. From Yui Mizuno as Yuimetal to Momoko Okazaki as Momometal, Babymetal continues to bring so much energy and joy.
Great react again Megitsune! This is the song that blew many minds and made the girls break with the established. Have you seen "iine" live? There are 3 styles in 1 song, believe me you will love it! See you! 🤟🦊🇯🇵🌸🌸🌸
Hi Aileen!! So happy you FINALLY got back onto the Babymetal train! Hopefully you keep them coming! You torture us by making us wait so long inbetween! lol I love watching your reactions and seeing how happy you get. It actually makes MY day! Seeing you dance in your chair with your tongue kinda sticking out a bit like cats do all the time is super kawaii in your own way too! lol Anyhow, great reaction and looking forward to more!
I have to say we’re living in quite the age of music when so many different elements can be combined together. In years past the girls would’ve found pop music their only option for being pro singers. But now, it’s broken wide open, so go ahead, be in a metal band, go for it.
Give me chocolate was released in Dec 2013 SueMetal was like 14 the others were like 11 or 12 if I remember correctly. Currently they are in their 20’s.
Japan has some fabulous rock and metal acts.. This was a crazy outfit when they came along, but really cemented the notion that you could "create something" by design and maintain integrity. If I recall right I discovered the whole j-rock/metal scene in the following order - SCANDAL, BABYMETAL, BAND MAID, NEMOPHILA, LOVEBITES, MAXIMUM THE HORMONE.. the journey continues, and maybe there's some ideas for reaction..
Excellent reaction, I believe I couldn't praise them more, hehe... "Gimme Chocolate" is "just" a fun song about the girls wanting to eat chocolate but being a little worried worried about their weight. But, yeah those instrumentals are very, very metal and the juxtaposition with the cute vocals, lyrics and choreo was totally the point of the song and the reason why this music video went viral back in 2014. Helping them a lot tbh. It's their most "popular" song but probably not their best one. But that doesn't stop it from being a blast when they play it live (and they do it a lot!). This music video has the studio version of the audio over the visuals from the concert Legend 1997 held to celebrate Su-metal's (the lead singer) 16th birthday. It was the song's live premiere. And yessss, if you don't smile while watching something like this, something is wrong with you and you need help. 😁 🤘🦊
Babymetal- Iijime Dame Zettai sonosphere live 2014 My favorite ever! Arguably the biggest moment in their career. First time outside of Japan in front of a big crowd. 60 thousand people. They were scared but they ended up owning it. Then they blew up internationally
Hey Girl, it's sooooooo good to see that you're posting again!!!❤❤❤ I was beginning to fear that you were going on another 3-month hiatus, and was wondering what kind of heave-upple had sent your life sideways this time. It's a relief to see that everything seems okay. It is, isn't it?😵💫 These three ladies have an energy level that leave this old man tired. It really doesn't matter WHAT they're singing about. In this case, they must REALLY want chocolate. Gotta go now. Got a smile headache--you know what I mean. Alan
Nice reaction. Keep it up. But to my horror I see that you haven't reacted to Megitsune live (!!!!!!!) yet. It was THE song that finally sold me into BM.
BM always put a smile on my face, and a bit extra pep in my step. I know there's going to be people saying to do Headbanger next. I agree, but with a twist. You shound check out Momobanger. It was recorded in concert for the newest member, Momo Metal's birthday, and Su Metal passes Momo the mic so she can sing the lead vocals for the second half of the song, and was given free range vocally. You will be shocked, as I was, but I won't spoil the surprise for you. Here's a link to the best version IMO. ruclips.net/video/TDb5KObVjOU/видео.html There's some inconsistencies in the visual editing, but at least the whole video isn't blurred out, or covered by a very heavy watermark like some I've seen. Keep that smile on your dial, keep rocking out, and keep reacting, cause that shit's infectious, and I know if the world is weighing me down, your videos make it a bit easier for me to want to keep going. 🤘
I didn't know what to think of it when I heard them for the first time. However, this song and "Karate" drew me in. Gotta check out Karate; haunting vocals.
I've relied on this band and these girls to help get me through the last 3-4 years of BS going on in the world! I can always get my attitude straightened out by allowing myself to get caught up in their music and performances.
This is about the only babymetal song I don't lile, or at least like less. Don't react to their music videos, but their live performances. Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere Rondo of Nightmare live at Budokan Road of Resistance Live in Japan Warning, Amuse is bad for going after reactors so you may want to put a filter over it or something.
The most aggressively cute way to ask for chocolate. 🤘🦊🤘

I was blessed to see them twice last year. Amazing! Enjoy
I'm so glad you had fun with this song! I also love Headbanger by them!
The girls are legit singers, they just aged out of jpop and a producer was smart enough to hook them with a metal band. The band that backs the girls is a fn SICK, well oiled metal machine. The cool thing is that most people recognize that. Baby metal are pretty well liked and respected among the professional metal community.
They "aged out of jpop"?! They were 11-12 when they started Babymetal!
@@Nickyc77777 Guessing you've never seen a video of Su-Metal singing live... Every band uses backtrack due to a lot going on and overlapping lyrics.
There's no "ageing out" of J-pop, unless all the 25 to 35yo idols I follow didn't get the memo ahah
I am happy for Momo being a full band member now.. That doesn't mean that I don't miss Yui.
Love this track. My first song I’ve heard from Babymetal and the one that blew my mind
Hard rock and heavy metal will always be my favorite genres of music 🔥🤘🏻🎸
they opened for Judas Priest, and rob zombie stans for them. They rock with heavy metal royalty and deserve all of it.
海外の方もBABY METALを観て笑顔になると、
こちらも笑顔になります❤
このループが続くと平和で幸せです。😊
This was the song that made me a fan of Baby Metal. 🤘🔥
Going to see them again in November in Orlando.
I’m also seeing them in November! Very excited. First time
@@BoatLoadOfSeaMen I got to see them, also in Orlando, last year with Dethklok.

Nice reaction! Super cute choreography! The gesture of eating chocolate is adorable🦊🍫🍫
Monochrome live at PIA and their other recent collaboration song Leave it all Behind.
They just want some chocolate but during the recent Europe Tour they got nothing but cute plush toys from fans throwing at them in the stage, of course the girls love to collect a lot of it.
Btw they will be at Knotfest Brazil for the first time in South America and I just can't wait, The One is going crazy.🤩🤘🍫

def need to do Road of Resistance live. SOOOO good
Regarding the haters, I think what's the most telling is that so many other bands, singers and musicians are supportive of Babymetal so loss for them
Fun reaction! Saw them live recently and the music went surprisingly hard for me as a casual listener. The mosh pit was really energetic as well. Even better though (to me) was Hanabie. You should check out We love sweets by them, that'd fit thematically.
Those concerts look like so much damn fun to be at! 😁🤘❤
This is the song that got me into Babymetal and Band Maid Nemophila and so on❤
Babymetal & Electric Callboy are my go to 'smile' bands.

This song is absolutely addictive😸
Amazingly, Gimme Chocolate and Ratatata were released 10 years apart. From Yui Mizuno as Yuimetal to Momoko Okazaki as Momometal, Babymetal continues to bring so much energy and joy.
J Rock has come a LOOOOONG way over the years and quickly became one of my top genres to listen to. And it all started for me with a guy called GACKT.
Great react again Megitsune! This is the song that blew many minds and made the girls break with the established. Have you seen "iine" live? There are 3 styles in 1 song, believe me you will love it! See you! 🤟🦊🇯🇵🌸🌸🌸
@aileensenpai003 どうもありがとう 🌸
This was my first song to them 😭So excited to see how much fun and how cute you are reacting to this song 🥹❤️
Hi Aileen!! So happy you FINALLY got back onto the Babymetal train! Hopefully you keep them coming! They're so aggressively happy! It's awesome.
I think this is one of their first. The girls were 17 and 14 for the younger backups Crazy talented.
16 and 14..its was the day after Suzuka turned 16 so this was her Birthday Concert!!
Put your Kitsune UP!!
Great review! I love their stuff and it is basically impossible not to dance along to!
I don't know how anyone could not like this song , it's so happy ✌️
I have to say we’re living in quite the age of music when so many different elements can be combined together. In years past the girls would’ve found pop music their only option for being pro singers. But now, it’s broken wide open, so go ahead, be in a metal band, go for it.
Song is so good I gotta comment twice haha
LMAO
LIVE ON COLBERT... If you can find it, Baby Metal's 'Gimme Chocolate' live performance on Colbert is nothing short of amazing.
the choreography is so freakin good
I've seen Babymetal live 3 times now.
A Babymetal pit is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
their best by far
This is my favorite Babymetal song
Yes more baby metal🔥🔥🔥
I really love your reactions ❤❤keep it up 🆙
Give me chocolate was released in Dec 2013 SueMetal was like 14 the others were like 11 or 12 if I remember correctly. Currently they are in their 20’s.
Great reaction Aileen love all the little dances in this reaction. I hope you are having a great day aileen
The early stuff by BabyMetal is the best.
I got overwhelmed by the excessive amount of sugar, chocolate, metal and cuteness of this video, I need to recover a little...
I'm so glad to see you do a video ❤ its good to hear your voice and your joy ❤ california ed
Excellent reaction, I believe I couldn't praise them more, hehe...

you should listen to hanabie otaku lovely densetsu.
Yeay!! Aileen Senpai is back!!! Missed your smile and your great reactions!
Impressive Reaction
i loved hearing this song live along with karate baby metal gets your blood and heart pumping in the pit
This is not what I was expecting with lots of energy like Pearl Jam energy!!! Those little ladies can really move..😂😂😂
this song is exhilarating
Been in 5 BM Mosh'sh pits! Also anyone who says BM is not metal clearly has not heard that beast of a death metal riff on GMC!!!
This shit is catchy as fuck and I'm a 52-year-old Metalhead 🤘
This is amazing! ❤❤
Monochrome live , PLEEAAAASE
You made us wait a while for this one. Maybe it's time to do a "Heavy Metal Monday".
Great reaction as always Aileen-Metal. Please keep the Babymetal songs coming. Stay safe and stay metal. Forever THE ONE 🤘🦊🤘
Great reaction. You must check out their first song. Doki Doki morning. And IDZ.
You should react to BxMxC by BabyMetal! Such a different direction for them but still a banger!
Thank you for your joy.
headbanger live is their best song
This song like many Babymetal songs has a darker meaning as the phrase Gimme Chocolate is a reference to post-war Japan
One of the best reactors on RUclips. Period.
You should hear awadama fever
This song puts the charge perfect for to begins the day to great 🎧🤘

Gotta go now. Got a smile headache--you know what I mean.

Child stars like them, who belong to a major Japan entertainment agency, are the prototypes of heroines who appear in Japan anime.😁
Nice reaction. Keep it up.
But to my horror I see that you haven't reacted to Megitsune live (!!!!!!!) yet. It was THE song that finally sold me into BM.
This Band is Definitely a Genre That IS A HYBRID masterpiece ,....That Warms the H❤earts of Metalheads and Anime Fans

U have just entered a new reality of the definition of heavy metal bangers ;) welcome metal friend
I love all their 🎵🎶🎵
I didn't know what to think of it when I heard them for the first time. However, this song and "Karate" drew me in. Gotta check out Karate; haunting vocals.

I admire how strong you are!
BABYMETAL!!! Glad to see you finally back with a hit reaction!!
BUT.......Do you have your ticket for the BABYMETAL tour in the US this November?🧐 Oh yeah, I do!😎
They are so fucking cute!!! Love those girls 😊
This is about the only babymetal song I don't lile, or at least like less.
Don't react to their music videos, but their live performances.
Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere
Rondo of Nightmare live at Budokan
Road of Resistance Live in Japan
Warning, Amuse is bad for going after reactors so you may want to put a filter over it or something.
Whaaaaaaat??? You haven't done Gimme Chocolate until now??? Love all your BM reactions.... Especially Ratatata 😁😁😁😁🤘🦊🤘
Babymetal - Death. That is all.
Gotta check out Monochrome Live if you haven’t already!
Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!!! with BABYMETAL is very good! and yeah it's is spelled like that x)
👍 BABYMETAL is timeless. Joy/Happiness never goes out of style. This rocks even harder when played with the Kami band. Great reaction. 🦊 🖖 ❤
You have to check out Headbanger 1997 legend the live version
This is the one that dragged me (most willingly) into the Fox Hole just over a decade ago. ❤
Love your reactions to music 🎶 ❤
Another great review! Glad to see you again. Keep on rockin'!
Moves and smiles? I haven't the foggiest what you could possibly mean.
