Walton is the easiest interview ever. Exactly right, Simmons. The Lakers wanted no part of the Celtics in '86 finals even though it was the rubber match. Walton did do very well against Kareem. It was always a fascinating matchup. If Bill played more, it would have been one of the 2-3 greatest individual rivalries in nba history.

Only fitting that Bill leaves two days after the Pac-12 had their last ever game, with Arizona winning the baseball title. At least, he won't have to worry about seeing his beloved Bruins in the Big Ten.

Walton never shuts up - ten minutes at a time is about all I can handle - the guy is phenominal, a veritablr harmonic convergence.

My god, how incredibly right he was all those years ago. He literally predicted the future now with Jokić and Dončić making basketball what it's supposed to be. He was so right about young players playing too many games and not practicing, that's why European players are the best today, they learned the game the right way.

This guy actually said Walton "owned" Kareem. What a goof. Luckily Walton corrected the clown.
