Just wanted to give BIG THANKS to the Lumnah family and critters for providing my family with enjoyable and educational videos. These are some crazy times we find ourselves in and it’s refreshing to see a hard working and God loving family enjoying and building a beautiful homestead. You’ve inspired me and my wife to become “Modern Steaders” 👍😊. Can’t wait to see what you and Gina do with the new property and look forward to sharing in your adventures. And......it is you guys that are a Huge Blessing to me and my family !! Thanks again!!

JudithB The greenhouse puffing up was cool!!! My first flock is molting and they cant get up on the roost. They are able to get up on the nest box so i will have a mess to clean in a few weeks. I need to open the fence and let the chickens go in the garden for the winter, but got to add a plastic layer on the hoop beds first!! I dont want them eating the onions and collards!

First thing to do on New Property after clearing home site is build a Giant, Giant, Giant Pole Barn (No low windows to look in)with Concrete Floor with in floor heating. Have the shell built by professionals. Faster that way. You can put in small livening quarters (On upper floor) your self. But make sure you can fit all your Heavy EQ and Tool shop and supplies. Even a in door saw mill and room to store lots of lumber
Make sure you put in a lot of security cameras. Auto mate your lights and sounds for while you are away. Close by in another Green House. Than start on a another animal barn. You can move a lot of your chicken coops and animal feeders you have built over to new property. Than sell your current homestead and move over. Can you get Cellular on property? High Speed Data? Power? Put in a back up power system with large batteries or a dozen small ones. Just to make sure your security systems stay powered.

Since you’re using the end of your Kubota to open the gate maybe you should consider a bumper gate.
One wider gate which is attached to a post in the middle of the gate. A cable on either side of post attached to each end of the gate.
You bump the gate with your vehicle. It swings open. You quickly drive through it. The tension on the cables quickly return the gate to its closed position. Your livestock cannot open the gate. I mean, if they do they’re exceptional. 😂
Grew up with these gates on mega sized ranches in South Texas.

Gina, you should try putting an herb & garlic infused olive oil on your pizza crust. It makes a really tasty crust, instead of a dry crust. You can even sprinkle cheese & black olives on it after the olive oil & it makes it taste like a really good cheesy bread.
It's just another option you can add to your pizza recipes, that I thought you might like to try.

    1. Make a wood furnace which doubles as a brick pizza oven.
    2. On your 500 acres build a small cabin with a car ramp on one end. If you build a house later then you can turn the cabin into a garage.

I like where you moved the chickens and the goats will not be able to get to the chickens feed.

"We have to get out of here!! I think we just had an earthquake! The house was shaking and moving, come on girls, let's get out of here, quick!!!!" Lol! Pizza looked good, although I like more toppings on mine and a thinner, crispy crust! To each his own! God Bless!

Pizza looked good, but a bit light on the edges. Have you ever tried rubbing the edges with oil (avocado, olive) and rub a clove of garlic, or add some asst herbs (basil, rosemary, etc) on it?
Let Hope know that at almost 8 am here in "sunny" AZ it is a whopping 47 degrees. Her sister is probably wishing she had a nice thick coat like Hope has. LOL
