If Sean can have a coffee brand then Mark can have a restaurant chain, I always thought a movie studio would be more in line with him but sure let's do Mark's instead.
I accidentally put cinnamon in chili instead of chili powder (similar jars), and I kinda liked it. My family mocked me, so now any time I make them food, I put cinnamon in it.
He talks like he literally couldn't actually just do this. Like. Do it. Just do it. You've done so much crazy shit before, and you're drawing the line at opening a chain restaurant? I personally just think Mark's body couldn't take it.
i work at a franchised skyline and the owner was literally just some guy who worked at skyline before opening his own restaurant, the restaurant does great, and people who never had it before always come to try it. mark could open a skyline and people would give their support because it's mark and because skyline does have a fanbase.
I'm surprised Mark didn't speak up about it, but maybe he didn't notice either. The county Los Angeles is in is Los Angeles County. LA is the name of the city and the county. It's why the neighboring cities are also considered "LA" even though they're different cities. Orange County is the suburban county next door famous for Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm.
In a similar vein, I grew up in Illinois, in the Chicagoland area. The restaurant Portillos is wildly popular and people I know that have left always talk about how much they miss it. And when someone opened a franchise in another state people get excited. I hear a lot of comments about how "oh I can finally get a good Italian beef again" Personally I think Buona beef is better that Portillos but those are fighting words around here. If Mark really did open a franchise, it would probably do pretty well
Those are indeed fighting words but Portillos is supposed to be more of a Hot dog place we just love italian beef. I'm also from the Chicagoland area and I've never once heard of or went to Buona beef! Mind telling me why you think it's better? Genuinely curious and might have to go check it out.
@@gwenjen101 Not sure if there's more spices or just a different combination in Buona but I just think it's a lot more flavorful. I think Portillos is a little bland by comparison. I can actually see bits of herbs and spices on my sandwich. Also a minor thing but I also like Buona fries better. They're not fresh hand cut or anything special. I'm sure it's just another brand of frozen fries but they're more substantial and stay hot and crisper longer than most fast food places.
(Sandi) skyline chili is what most people call pasta sauce or a meat ragu.. Historically cinnamon is a "hot" spice - sprinkle some cinnamon on a steak before grilling or frying it. I've tried skyline chili - yeah, pasta sauce, but I am biased - I grew up eating Texas chili - made it too (won 2nd place in a high school chili cookoff - against groups). BTW - I study herbs and spices as a hobby for the last 30 years ^_^.
@@benjaminsmit781 - easy - I study where and when a particular spice came into use in Europe, the Middle East or the Asiatic areas (for the Old World spices and herbs), how that particular herb/spice was used both culinarily, medically, and spiritually, and how it tastes, smells, and works in more modern dishes. This whole time I’ve been intrigued to try skyline chili not realizing we used to eat it all the time as kids. It’s basically coney dog chili. That shit is delicious.
When wade mentioned Hamilton and Clermont county my heart skipped a beat. I live in Clermont rn. Like I know lived where they lived but hearing wade say it was just weird
Didn't know about this kinda chilli, I make a chilli potato soup with a super similar spice mix here in the UK and it goes over great with my family (literally just finished a bowl before watching this), might give it a try!

I currently live in Houston TX and everytime my family and I visit home, we have a list of restaurants to eat at when we are back home. My list consists of: Shakey's, the hat, weinershnitzel, king taco, and if possible, sam wu's.
they sell skyline chili in stores here in michigan and it's so fuckin good on spaghetti with shredded cheese, diced white onion, and green olives. shit slaps
You can get frozen Skyline chili, at least at Publix here on the east coast of Florida. So you would probably be able to get it in the several states that have Publix.
I want to try Skyline so bad, but I'm in Florida. (The location Wade mentioned in Orlando shows as temporarily closed down) I looked up cans on Amazon and its super expensive
Come visit that Skyline Chili in FL! It's right down the road from me across from the Disney College Program housing, the west side of Disney closer to Animal Kingdom. We need more people to visit the Flamingo Crossings plaza and enjoy/complain because Disney wont let those businesses be open past 11:00 PM. A lot of Cast Members cant eat at the restaurants since they work till 10:00 or 11:00 and cant get back to the area in time to enjoy the food. The only places open after 11:00 are Wendy's and Walgreens but the brewery is literally begging Disney to stay open later for better business hours since most of the restaurants in the plaza are struggling to stay afloat. The plaza was literally designed for nightlife with well luminated outdoor seating and crosswalks that go over main streets for safety but everything closes relatively early given many people in the area work late... I'm looking forward to the Skyline Chili but am worried like many places it will struggle with the expensive property. I heard some of the smallest businesses have to pay $20k in rental fees a month. It's a lot for something may people would enjoy if they could be open later for business...
I visited Ohio with my friends once to go visit King’s Island and Cedar Point. I ate Skyline pretty often there and at first it doesn’t sound that appetizing, but my god, it is so good. Skyline was the best part of visiting since I wasn’t a huge fan of rollercoasters like my friends were. Mark. Please open a Skyline in California. I would drive so far just to have it.
Helloooos! :D :D :D I enjoy visiting California! Been to L.A. & San Diego & San Francisco! But yeah, if you open up a Chain Restaurant Mark, I will definitely be there! Glad Y’all 3 are doing well. :):):)
I believe Skyline doesn't contain any chocolate (coca) because they put out a statement from people with a chocolate (coca) allergies don't need to worry about eating Skyline
We grew up eating chili spaghetti and couldn't figure out why anyone would want to eat that. My mom grew up near Cincinnati and loved skyline. She didn't tell us about Cincinnati chili just made us eat it alot.
I instantly knew what we would be discussing from the thumbnail. Sad to say, I've never had Skyline. I grew up in Cleveland area. (I have Greek ancestry 😅)
Chili is delicious! My dad makes a mean chili and he uses maple beans 💜. I actually have a chocolate chili pepper 🌶 hot sauce it's delicious. I added it to spaghetti and it was so interesting.

I put cinnamon in my marinara meat sauce along with white wine and a smidge of pear juice and it's delightful so i believe cinnamon in chili could be really good
Mark could totally open a restaurant and probably not even interact with it at all beyond eating at it and im sure it would be great
I'm just picturing him opening it, hiring his staff, then firing himself and being like "Cool now just stay in business so I can eat here"
I appreciate the indecisive language.

i moved to Australia in January, flew with a can in my luggage, and had my mom ship me three more cans since LOL. I just ate some 2 nights ago.
