Even outside this arc they don't seem to coordinate/cooperate much most of the time these guys just do whatever the hell they want, heck Mayuri killed a shit ton of soul society citizens just because the populations were too high but he didn't tell anyone so the rest of the 13 court guards thought the people randomly disappeared from a hollow attack or something. He didn't even get in trouble for it since he has to get permission before he can do it.

Went back to rewatch the official release what with Thousand Year Blood War finally being an animated thing. Got to this bit, with Gin's first appearance before I realized that these voices for the characters had supplanted the dubbed voices in my head. Still had JYB for Ichigo, but Gin? No, Gin's all Logan. Also JEEZ, y'all are blazing through the series. I kinda knew, what with skipping all the filler and stuff, but still, wasn't till I realized that it took 12 abridged episodes to cover the first 83! of the official that it registered just how fast. Love it.
