And Fuck You!"-level dadassery with both scenes way surpassing the original despite being a parody. And I think this is followable without background knowledge too. But I admit, it's going in more of a break-neck pace, so you lose more from the original than in the TFS abridged.
How do you not understand the basic plot of this from what they show in the abridged? Rukia pops up, Ichigo gets powers, Rukia gets kidnapped, everyone goes to save her, turns out Josh Groban is the literal devil and is trying to destroy the world. How is that hard?

I love how civil Hollow Zangetsu is in this series, its hilarious how he's arguably one of the most polite and empathetic of the cast.
I've always loved how Kenpachi's sword always screams as though it really is in pain from his spiritual pressure being forced thru its base state

Her name is actually Nozorashi. Yachiru was given as a name in respect for Yachiru/Retsu Unohana.
