The most impressive thing in this movie is conditioning us the viewers that Po the Panda having a goose father is completely fucking normal, making the obvious reveal in the sequel surprising. . . . That and the fact somehow a movie about Panda doing Kungfu isn't done by Chinese themselves.
The movie was actually such a huge hit in China that it basically inspired the country to revamp their entire animation industry so they could make their own CG movies about Chinese culture and stories without the US having to do it for them

So, the idea behind how he trained po so fast is this, Po being a kung fu fanatic, has already been mimicking the moves of the 5 for years, so shifu realizes training the same way he did with the 5 was pointless, he already knew all their moves, instead shifu had to teach po how to apply those moves, which he realized he could do when po has a reason to want to apply them, IE Food, which resulted in creating a unique style that blends the elements of the 5 together, known in china as dragon style, which is why he's able to train po so much faster, he already has the muscle memory built up

Probably the best Hollywood movie about China/Chinese culture, the opening scene based on shadow puppetry is amazing. I loved the picturesque ancient Chinese scenery throughout the movie with the traditional Chinese soundtrack, it sets the atmosphere perfectly. Absolutely 10/10 movie

Later Tai lung is using his acupuncture techniques (which he used on the 5 before) and finds he can't because of Po being too fat. Great set up earlier in the movie and great payoff.
KFP is a near-perfect movie. Strong plot, dialogue, animation and absolutely solid character arcs for all the leads (including the villaine). Plus a decent morale of the story.
