+Dieter Kaufmann Amen. No need to debate which guy is better at what point in the song, since no two performances of it have ever been exactly the same, even when it was the Eagles doing it.
Love how Joe Walsh can be a total clown one moment and then pull off a classic riff flawlessly. Billy Gibbons is the definition of cool and laid back. Two total pros, so much talent between these two legends.
+Douglas Thompson I tell ya what Doug, I love Henley's voice on everything he recorded BUT Joe freekin nailed this tune. He was such a great addition to my favorite band the Eagles. May the remaining guys live and be well. Love Joe Walsh! RIP Glen!!!!!
+George Halvorson Agreed. They were better that the sum of their parts. Joe is at home, and enjoys accompanying people. Class act, and differs to the other guy time and again, all whilst laying in tasty morsels.
+Douglas Thompson Joe is raw still in his approach. I guess now because he is not getting high and he remebers like he always say in interviews. Don Henley is great, but Joe adds that extra edge like he is for the Eagles. My friend Rick Washington is on the Background vocals with him as well in his Band. He can't go wrong.
Better than the Eagles ever did..Joe Walsh has been there all my life and Billy and the guys were the first blues players that got my attention as a kid..Thx guys.
Don and Glen were supposed the be the successful Eagles, but Joe Walsh is the definitely the one that shows up everywhere. He´s played with every big name ever. I saw him on Conan, live at Daryls house, he is in Ringos all Starr band and so on.
Ha,,I freaked out when I saw him playing in a Pub here in OZ in a band called " The Party Boys" a group of Misfit Rockers led by our Great Kevin Borich in the 80s
This is just great! Who ever thought of getting these two together are very smart. I've never seen any better and would buy an album similar to this song if available. Thanks to both of these men for the great sounds.
Joe is a co writer of this song. I remember he preformed it with the Aussie supergroup The Party Boys in the mid '80's. I got the cassette. So no court order.
I have really enjoyed watching Joe Walsh play with other people on this site. since discovering the show, "Live with Daryl Hall" on Palladio, I love rocking right along with all his guests on there. Joe Walsh is one of my favorites! Thanks for being here!
it's funny how so many guitarists lose a bit of their magic as they get older....not Joe though, just ages like fine wine. Fucking amazing. Billy's voice is pretty rocking too! absolute legends these two
@@philiphicks1273 The LP is ten solid pounds of wood and metal! ! The Strat is a couple of pounds lighter, and an SG about 7 lb. Or just play sitting down! No shame in it!
....dos genialidades historicas de la guitarra juntos, "INCOMBUSTIBLES EN EL TIEMPO" que jamas pasaran de moda por su gran y enorme calidad en sus estilos......
Only one sorry. Gibbons cant even wipe the sweat off Walsh`s guitar strings. Waish played and sang the whole tune. I think Henley would have kicked Gibbons right off the stage.. lol
Joe Walsh is eons above the other Eagles & deserves far more recognition & credits. Why is it that Europe always enjoys & supports American musicians more than American's do?
What - Do - You - Say ? - its sending the hackles up on the back of my neck just watching here on YT ! - I just wish I'd been in the audiance !!! - Thanks for sharing it's been a great start to this misrable wednesday morning before I venture out ! Go see the Band get the led out. I just seen them on Nov 21st at the Hanover theater worcester, mass. Great show Real musicans. The next best thing to Led Zeppelin. Next year I will see Brit Floyd. April 3rd at the Hanover theater worcester, mass. Another Real Band.
Too true, and thank you for saying so. It was a whole lot more fun for Joe to have Billy do his bit. But it was Joe's show and Billy is a masterful guest, whether with Jeff Beck or Joe Walsh. It's too bad that some of those who comment about don't understand the etiquette of stage play.
Another Jersey boy made good..crush it Joe. True story: Joe was warming up his guitar before auditioning for the Eagles. He was playing this opening riff. Glenn Frey looked at him and "that's an Eagles song right there!"
Every time I view a clip like this I feel sorry for the kids of today and the crap they have to listen to.
Look at the kids in the audience! They're actually _bored!_
I will listen to it until my heart stops beating! 💕🎶😘👍🏼
Me too.
It doesn't get any better. Two legends - pure rock and roll!
+Dieter Kaufmann Amen. No need to debate which guy is better at what point in the song, since no two performances of it have ever been exactly the same, even when it was the Eagles doing it.
Joe Walsh at its best! Top Guitarist and Singer!
Love how Joe Walsh can be a total clown one moment and then pull off a classic riff flawlessly. Billy Gibbons is the definition of cool and laid back. Two total pros, so much talent between these two legends.
Spot on Christopher!
I find his vocals far more unbelievable! Looks wrecked, but sings like an effing pro.
Totally love this...Billy Gibbons ...so cool ...and Jo Walsh....terrific!
This is one of the best Eagles' song.
Totally agree with you!👍🏼🎶🎶
Sweet performance! Who needs Don when you got Joe! He hit that Eagles number out of the park!

this is a duo that was always meant to be. The music world is a better place for it.
2 fabulous legends...don't get much better
Thanks for your love and support ♥️
Joe Walsh...super!!!
Thanks for your love and support ♥️
Joe Walsh has more catchy riffs in this one song than most songwriters can cram into a whole album
career*
They are not only catchy they are not easy to play.

Joe Walsh is the real deal. One of the greats for sure.
Joe on a Stratocaster and Billy on the Les Paul absolute Classics !
Joe is a bad ass, and there is no one on the planet cooler than Billy.
I'm a big Billy fan and have been a guest in his home in Houston..., and I agree.
Joe is a co writer of this song. I remember he preformed it with the Aussie supergroup The Party Boys in the mid '80's. I got the cassette. So no court order.

These two opened up a big can of whoop ass together and then told some good stories too... Great evening at the Factory in Franklin.
'Wonderful' and 'priceless' are the adjectives that spring to mind.
Dayumn this kind of songs are hard to find now a days
Love how walsh sings this, this song totally suits him.
Excelente dupla, me gusta mucho

Yup... Him Sober Amazing....
The Rev can boil water with one fine Les Paul note! Or turn it to wine. Crowd digging that soulful non-nonsense guitar solo! Have Mercy!
This really illustrates the difference in tone between Joe's Fender Strat, and Billy s Gibson Les Paul.
DANGEROUS COMEDY les Paul is where it’s at
@@Beergoggled Being a Gibson fan also. Stratt's and Tellie's have their place they are wonderful guitars. Joe played lots of Fenders.
Brian Mcdonald when I learned that LITFL was just a warm up riff on a Gibson in sunburst. Mind minced.
@@Beergoggled Sure. But YOU try wearing one all night long on stage. “feels like I’m carrying the whole band here!”

Joe and Billy together, does it get any better than that????
Billy is an artist and knows how to always balance it for the good. The trick is always knowing how to not over do it.
It's Joseph AND William !! And a whole bunch of cool dudes and dudettes !!
I'm very pleased to know I'm not the only one that loves🙂😄the song but when last did you play it.
Thanks for your love and support ♥️
Two of the Very best!!!

He wrote the riff, they couldn't prevent him from playing it. It's as much his as it is theirs.
Billee is sooooo good...his fuckin sound...wowww

Fantastic!!!!!!

two legends
indeed! great combination
This may be the best version of this I've heard. The Eagles were always amazing, but add some ZZ Top lovin to it and it's even better!
That's a GREAT pair of ACEs
Geezus, Joe Walsh still has great pipes. Always amazing on the guitar too.
