50 years later...
When grandpa's cooler than the grandkids! 👍
Best. Comment. Evah.
WORD! :O)
Ha too fckin right
Most anyone over 50 who can play the shit out of a Rock Instrument, is way cooler than most kids.
I'm 64 and I'm still busting a move!
Any grandpa who fought in a war is automatically cooler
Met Billy Gibbons at the Union Station bar in Los Angeles. Told him I was a big fan and so were my drinking buddies. He walks to all my drinking pals..60-70 yr olds..proceeds to allow a picture and shakes everbodies hand. Cool as dude.
Mister Gomez I agree with you 110% Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill ZZ Top of my favorite singers and favorite group Alzheimer rest in peace Justin you deserve it will see you again someday
Wow the coolest...
@@MarkCexplorer Billy’s not dead.
Cool ass dude. Hope America still has freedoms. Mainly freedom of speech.
@@MarkCexplorer wait what the Fuque are you talking !!???☢☣
Man. Credit to that drummer. He slayed that so bad. Dude knew exactly what to play everything. Damn he's good
He did didn't he !😎👍
billy gibbons is one of the most overlooked guitarist of all time, truly one of the very best.
John Fogerty has got some of the most bad ass, recognizable riffs in all of Rock n' Roll.!! Legends
Great
YES! And he is an example that you do not need to be fast in shredding those strings just to be immortalized!
John Forgerty is a legend!
Yes. Not to mention his recognizable voice
Facts! 👌

Perferct bit for an album
John fogerty has one of the most recognizable voice and guitar rifts In all of music
Yeahhh
Awesome as Always ❤
Idk but its sound so so so so american like what an american man voice should sound
I'd like to know how many millions learned to play guitar because of john fogerty..
I could listen to these guys for frigging hours, its REAL music, played by REAL people, more please, RIP Dusty
We should appreciate our musical legends while they are here.
They wont be here forever.
Amen !!! I'd rather listen to these guy and all the legends compared to todays crap!
As evidenced by the recent passing of Dusty Hill. RIP DH!!
These guys are from the time when there was made real music.
And it's still better that most music made today.
ХЕ ГЕЙ! long live Rock'n'Roll =🎸🎸=

Wish they made music like this still!!!!
@@christib9958 They do somewhere, but you won't know about those who do, because it's not "popular". All they show is pop, it sells (I don't know why, it's shit), and is quickly forgotten, then they sell more new crap.. You have to search for real and good music. Who can name pop hits? Nobody, because nobody remember pop, it all sound the same way, the same beats. But everybody can name a rock song from the 60-70-80s.
enjoy knowing real artist as can hear that electric feed back as two are about to rock it
@bob Burgers spoken like a true grandpa, but you are correct 😃
WOW! That John C. Fogerty sound! Makes the eyes water and the skin crawl with goosebumps!
John was somewhat underrated as a guitarist.
I always thought he was pretty good.
My beloved father sits on the edge of the clouds and smiles.😊
Fogerty just writes great music. No flash. No ego. Simple and to the point. legend.
I'm impressed. Real musicians, real music.
Never gets old.
Until it does.
Gets better with age!!
John Fogerty is possibly the best singer songwriter ever. I want to blast Born on the Bayou indefinitely. It's better than perfect. ❤you John!
These guys are so way before my time, but it’s amazing how their songs are so recognizable, as soon as they play the first chord.
You should make them of your time
fogerty & CCR were what was called swamp rock. fogerty was and still is
great at simple and catchy guitar hooks for his songs.
damn John's voice is still pure gold to this day... hearing him still singing (almost effortlessly) in the same key as in the 70's is unbelievable
John Forgerty, the best looking man ever, Billy Gibbons, the never aging breaded king of guitar. Both so talented and humble. Been listening to both since I was an ankle biter, 30+ years. Never stop, please never stop. My kids love the band with beards and the guy who is 'not as good looking' as Daddy!
Live long and be happy guys
Me too, but I was a cookie cruncher...
I ain't heard ankle biter in decades. Thanks for that tonight.
Gibbons was a monster player BEFORE the beard gimmick. Tejas is one of the most underrated ZZ Top albums ever. Ate up with all killer, no filler music..they had the cowboy hats and short beard look. Cool AF imho..
Them playing all these songs in their entirety, in this room - I would literally pay to watch it.
These two were a huge part of my soundtrack of growing up. I can't thank them enough, ,🙏
Amazed at how well Fogerty is singing.
I could listen to these two playing all day. Thanks for this.
Me too,It's somethin else when you get genuine icons bouncing riffs off each other, like it;s playtime.
@@33Birchmoor the big problem Fogerty got screwed by the record company's we may have had a lot more great tunes if it wasn't for tha
24/7
Mad Love for ZZTOP! They were awesome in concert!!!❤❤❤❤
These guys are among the best artists of my generation, and everyone to come. Rock on.🥃😎🎸
Between these two. We have dozens of the greatest guitar intros in music history.
probably 9 dozen
Now July 2021, and Dusty Hill died recently. RIP Dusty.
RIP dusty
Hearing Billy talk about Dusty left me feeling down. I'll never hear them play "TV Dinner", or "LA Grange" live ever again. Hurts almost as much as when Tom Petty passed. Getting older sucks!
@@richgallegos5807 - I am now closer to 100 than I am to 50. Most of my musical icons passed several years ago, and some while I was still under 30. Jerry Lee Lewis is still hanging in there, but he is the only one from the Sun days of the 50's. John Prine was living on borrowed time for years before Covid took him out last year - I will miss hearing him live, as well as I miss SRV. I was 16 THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED. Saw Buddy, the Bopper and Richie in MIlwaukee just a few days before that.
Fantastic! I saw ZZ live, 3 times. John is a legend.
Two absolute LEGENDS it's great to see them both still playing music and loving it
Oh Yea, God bless us with these musicians. Thanks for being a part of my music life.
John Fogerty so damn good, his guitar changes constantly with out him actually switching it. Great to see these two legends together.
Wow the most legendary guitar licks ever. Incredible 🥰
Two rock and roll icons I've been listening to since I was a child. That's the most fun I've had watching a video in quite a while.
Just look at the difference in talent between 70’s rock and today’s artists. I could watch these guys all day!
There is no talent these days
sam drucker you got that RIGHT‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
That's a big issue,
music is a reflection
our time.
I think, i should write
a lot of this !
But I think it needs
one day.
The most important
is, you like the music
you hear. And not others.
They hear their own music.

@@marcuskoln1995 it doesn't matter how you say it the music today does not compare to the 70s 80s and early 90s look at AC/DC and Lynard Skynard
David Signor how so?
Such a gift to see these two gents having fun
This is freaking awesome. I wish they would have finished a few of these masterpieces.
I have lost count of how many times I have watched this, and I tell ya it just gets cooler and cooler each time!
No no no... this is not enough... now you have to do a full album together! HELL YES!!!
Now thats a drummer who gets the feel of these songs!
Absolutely! If you play in this league, it is part of your standard repertoire. Or in other words, the result of a talented drummer who had spent thousands of hours on rehearsal. Encourage your kids to learn an instrument latest by the age of 14/15 and if they show real interest, you will be amazed by the outcome.
Yeah but I still miss Doug Clifford
@@billbaumiester6764 Doug and the other two suckers ruined Creedence. They are justly forgotten.
@@lassimiettinen8044 Tom sided with the other two to sue John over the rights to the songs. Hardly innocent.
I'm almost 50 and CCR was one of the very first bands I ever knew of as a young kid, because of my dad. Today I have a 19 yr old son who has heard CCR played loud at home many times, its very cool.
Sensacional! Inacreditável! Espetacular!. Esses dois são uma fábrica de riffs..
I’m an absolute child of the 80’s and grew up wanting to desperately play guitar like Edward Van Halen. Both John Fogerty and Reverend Bill have taught me that you don’t have to play fast, you don’t have to max out the gain knob on your amp and you can create some of the most timeless rock music ever. Thank you both for being such great teachers and influences on me.
I agree so much with this, its not all about the scales and the modes and the patterns. I too wanted to be like Eddie van halen and randy Rhoads and the shredders of the 80s but for me my revelation came when I plugged my uncles les paul straight into a cranked Marshall, no effects no pedals. Emotional, powerful, and melodic playing will get you very far. No discredit to eddie or the greats of the 80s in any way though
Great video!
This song is dedicated to everyone who lost a loved one. God bless. "I'm calling out your name tonight" by Richie Levoi

The power of fusion, wow - I could watch/listen to this all day. Love you guys, peace.
Man it doesn’t get any better than this. Could you imagine them touring together?
Saw Fogarty live. He is the best performer! The man can sing! Love him, and ZZ TOP too! xoxo,
Two legends together!Epic!
Love their music back in the 70's we listened to Fogerty all the time! Great music
I saw this tour when it came to Illinois and it was awesome. Fogerty was running around and jumping all over the stage like a man half his age, and his voice was as good as ever. ZZ Top never lose a step and are my all time favorite band.
Brings back lots of memories. One of the best times was sitting on the back of a tail gate watching everyone driving the town square just hanging with your friends. These guys are assume. 🎶🎶🎶
They are two awesome giants! I love their music!
Two of the smokinest guitar players around. Two distinctly recognisable sounds in music melding together. To freaking cool...
Two legends... two guitars.. sum' riffs... two awesome nice fellas .. can it get any better than having John and Billy playing for us, making this world a bit better place with every note they play for us :)

Brought a smile to my face during these weird times.
ditto 🙂
Most people don't even know it is weird times. That's the problem of the idiocracy form of gov't. Although, it is better called terrorism, because the original definition of TERRORISM IS GOVERNMENT BY INTIMIDATION.
This is something I desperately needed today, thank you music gods.

John Fogerty and Billy Gibbons-legendary. My 6 year old asked what the blues are. So I’m looking for good pieces to show him and I came across this. Man, this is good music. I’ve been listening to a lot of metal and country lately. I forgot how much I love these two.
Outstanding job from when music was reall music...thankyou guys...loved it.
So many timeless classics. And they still have some pipes!
Can you imagine a band in the 70s with John & Billy? That would’ve been epic!

I love this. Two great musicians. CCR were one of the best bands ever. So many hits it's hard to pick a favorite. I love ZZ top too. They both sound great.
