I honestly found the other Netflix animated movie "I Lost My Body" to be on the same level of Klaus. Both have an innovative look but Klaus looks better than I Lost My Body. It looks amazing and I still don't even know how they did it. Both stories are great but I find I Lost My Body's story to be way better. It's hard to put I Lost My Body's story into words, its a rare experience that feels like a discovery. Klaus doesn't necessarily have a bad story, I just feel like I've seen it so many times before
Hotdog personally I think the story of Klaus was a very unique take on the origin of Santa based on an old German story. I’ve never seen it done before. I haven’t seen I Lost My Body, but thanks for the recommendation. I’ll check it out
henoryry I definitely recommend the movie. One more thing though, I Lost My Body has an amazing a soundtrack I can’t get out of my head. I liked the soundtrack of Klaus up to the part where they sing

Honestly, 2019 was a great year for animation. All the bests and honorable mentions, cartoons like She-ra, independent projects like Hazbin Hotel. This was a good year

Yet he made this list around the end rather than AT a The end. So he missed his chance to put Spies in Disguise, Klaus and A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon on the list. He even missed his chance to put The Addams Family, The Lion King (remake), Playmobil: The Movie and Wonder Park on this list because somehow, he probably doesn't mind them! Frozen 2 could count, but as great as it looks in general and especially compared to the original, it’s not out yet, and Strider himself pointed it out.
At least PhantomStrider respected the fact that not everyone likes Frozen 1. I know because in this video, one memorable line he had is “Overplayed or not, I love Frozen.”.

One of the only opinions on this list that I disagree with is that Abominable is a great movie. I’d like to see what PhantomStrider thinks of if people critiqued Abominable. Personally, he was trying too hard to make it sound like people are missing out if they choose to skip it (people can see what movies they want, Strider. Maybe then can see Abominable because they are hyped for it, but what if they saw it and found it okay at best?!).
Well, really, he seems to lower his standards with many animated fklms, _especially_ Disney ones. There were some actually notable animated films released in 2019, but none of them are obviously on this list. Besides, once Miyazaki's last film comes out next year, it's going to be hands-down the best animated film of the year.
No, they are not necessarily, at least not with western animation in some respects. There are, obviously, some particularly great films released every year or so, but they're almost always overshadowed by far lesser films, especially in North America. Some people I know of seem to _love_ every Disney film as if they're all equally something, but I will admit that there are at least 8 Disney films (incl. Pixar) that I'd say are particularly great.

I honestly found the other Netflix animated movie "I Lost My Body" to be on the same level of Klaus. Both have an innovative look but Klaus looks better than I Lost My Body. It looks amazing and I still don't even know how they did it. Both stories are great but I find I Lost My Body's story to be way better. It's hard to put I Lost My Body's story into words, its a rare experience that feels like a discovery. Klaus doesn't necessarily have a bad story, I just feel like I've seen it so many times before
Hotdog personally I think the story of Klaus was a very unique take on the origin of Santa based on an old German story. I’ve never seen it done before.

Honestly, 2019 was a great year for animation. All the bests and honorable mentions, cartoons like She-ra, independent projects like Hazbin Hotel. This was a good year
I liked this year too. Even the bad films were not enough to outright hate the creators. Wonder Park and Uglydolls were bad but had some good aspects

Yet he made this list around the end rather than AT a The end. So he missed his chance to put Spies in Disguise, Klaus and A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon on the list. He even missed his chance to put The Addams Family, The Lion King (remake), Playmobil: The Movie and Wonder Park on this list because somehow, he probably doesn't mind them! Frozen 2 could count, but as great as it looks in general and especially compared to the original, it’s not out yet, and Strider himself pointed it out.

One of the only opinions on this list that I disagree with is that Abominable is a great movie. I’d like to see what PhantomStrider thinks of if people critiqued Abominable. Personally, he was trying too hard to make it sound like people are missing out if they choose to skip it (people can see what movies they want, Strider. Maybe then can see Abominable because they are hyped for it, but what if they saw it and found it okay at best?!).
Well, really, he seems to lower his standards with many animated fklms, _especially_ Disney ones. There were some actually notable animated films released in 2019, but none of them are obviously on this list. Besides, once Miyazaki's last film comes out next year, it's going to be hands-down the best animated film of the year.
No, they are not necessarily, at least not with western animation in some respects. There are, obviously, some particularly great films released every year or so, but they're almost always overshadowed by far lesser films, especially in North America. Some people I know of seem to _love_ every Disney film as if they're all equally something, but I will admit that there are at least 8 Disney films (incl. Pixar) that I'd say are particularly great.

Toy Story 4 is such a beautiful movie! Everything from the visuals to the message to the arcs are just outstanding.
I agree that Woody and Bo could have used a bit more chemistry, though. However, my interpretation was that Woody left the gang more for himself than for Bo. Great video! :)
